Surp Nerses Shnorhali Cathedral (Spanish: Iglesia Apostólica Armenia San Nerses Shnorhali; Armenian: Սուրբ Ներսէս Շնորհալի եկեղեցի) is an Armenian Apostolic church in the neighbourhood of Bella Vista, Montevideo, Uruguay.This temple, dedicated to the Catholicos saint Nerses Shnorhali, is the prelacy of the Uruguayan Diocese of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church. Its current head is Archbishop Hakob Glnjian.The church is part of a bigger ensemble of buildings that house Armenian-Uruguayan institutions. There is a memorial to the Armenian genocide, with a sculpture by Nerses Ounanian.

The Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary (Spanish: Capilla de Nuestra Señora del Rosario), popularly known as Capilla Maturana, is a Roman Catholic church building in the neighbourhood of Bella Vista, Montevideo, Uruguay.The first church was consecrated in 1923, although the current temple was built two decades later. It is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary and held by the Salesians of Don Bosco, who also run the adjacent private school "San Francisco de Sales". Both the church and the school are known as "Maturana", since this is the name of a nearby street where they were originally located in 1907.

Hospital Vilardebó is the only psychiatric hospital in Reducto, Montevideo, Uruguay. It opened on 21 May 1880, named after the physician and naturalist Teodoro Vilardebó Matuliche. The hospital was originally one of the best of Latin America and in 1915 grew to 1,500 hospital inpatients. Today the hospital is very deteriorated, with broken walls and floors, lack of medicines, beds, and rooms for the personnel. It has an emergency service, outpatient, clinic and internal rooms and employs approximately 610 staff, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, administrators, guards, among others. The average patient age is 30 years, more than half of whom arrive by court order; 42% suffer from schizophrenia, 18% suffer from depression and mania and also a high percentage of drug addicted patients. It has around 300 beds.

Torre de las Telecomunicaciones (Telecommunications Tower) or Torre Joaquín Torres García (Joaquín Torres García Tower), usually referred as Antel Tower, is a 157 meter tall building with 35 floors located in Montevideo, Uruguay. It hosts the headquarters of Uruguay's government-owned telecommunications company, ANTEL, and is the tallest skyscraper in the country. Designed by the uruguayan architect Carlos Ott it is situated by the side of the Bay of Montevideo. The tower was completed by American Bridge and other design/built consortium team members in 2002.

The temple is dedicated to Our Lady of Bzommar, the patron of Armenian Catholics. It is a significant religious center for the local Armenian community.

The Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (Spanish: Iglesia Ortodoxa Griega San Nicolás) is an Eastern Orthodox church building located in the grounds of the headquarters of the Greek Community in Prado neighbourhood in Montevideo, Uruguay. This church is a social and religious meeting point for the Greek Uruguayan community. It is part of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Buenos Aires and South America.

The Church of Saint Charles Borromeo and Our Lady of the Assumption (Spanish: Iglesia de San Carlos Borromeo y Nuestra Señora de la Asunción) is a Roman Catholic parish church in the neighbourhood of Prado, Montevideo, Uruguay. The parish was established on 29 April 1934. The temple is an interesting example of Modern Architecture using reinforced concrete with parabolic shapes; the project was designed by architect Juan Pablo Terra, the structural calculation by Eladio Dieste, the acoustics by Luis García Pardo, and the construction was performed by the company Álvaro Palenga in 1956.

The Legislative Palace of Uruguay (Spanish: Palacio Legislativo del Uruguay) is a monumental building, meeting place of the General Assembly of Uruguay, and the seat of the legislative branch of the Uruguayan government. It is located in the barrio of Aguada in the city of Montevideo. Constructed between 1908 and 1925, the building was inaugurated on August 25, 1925, in commemoration of the centenary of the Declaration of Independence. It was declared a National Historic Monument in 1975 by the government of President Juan María Bordaberry.

The Chamber of Senators of Uruguay (Cámara de Senadores de Uruguay), or Senate, is the upper house of the General Assembly of Uruguay (Asamblea General de Uruguay). It has 30 members, elected for a five-year term by proportional representation; the Vice-president presides over the chamber's sessions. The composition and powers of the Senate are established by Article Ninety-eight of the Uruguayan Constitution. It also requires that the senators must be at least 30 years old and have been Uruguayan citizens for seven years. In addition to the functions that it performs jointly with the House of Representatives through the General Assembly, it stands out as a competence that falls solely on the House of Senators to open a public trial to those accused by the House of Representatives or the Junta Departamental, in their case, and pronounce sentence for the sole purpose of separating them from their positions, by two-thirds of the total number of its components.

The Chamber of Representatives (Spanish: Cámara de Representantes) is the lower house of the General Assembly of Uruguay (Asamblea General de Uruguay). The Chamber has 99 members, elected for a five-year term by proportional representation with at least two members per department.The composition and powers of the Chamber of Representatives are established by Article Ninety of the Uruguayan Constitution. It also requires that members must be aged at least 25 and have been a citizen of Uruguay for five years. It is the competence of the House of Representatives to accuse in the Senate members of both houses, the President and Vice President of the Republic, the Ministers of State, the members of the Supreme Court, the Administrative Litigation Court, the Court of Accounts and the Electoral Court, either for violating the Constitution or other serious crimes.

The Mercado Agrícola de Montevideo (MAM) (English: Montevideo Agricultural Market) is a historic enclosed market in the Aguada neighborhood of Montevideo, Uruguay. Built in the 1910s and reopened in 2013, it combines a variety of permanent shops selling fresh produce, butcheries, and other specialty food stores typical of a fruits and vegetables wholesale marketplace, along with general service providers and several restaurants and cafés.
