The Otto H. Baring House is a house of the Bungalow/American Craftsman style located in Houston, Texas. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Morton Brothers Grocery, located at 401 West Ninth in Houston, Texas, is a historic building located in the Houston Heights neighborhood. Built in 1929, it was a neighborhood grocery store run by Curtis Ira Morton (born 22 Jan 1866 in Tippecanoe, Indiana, USA) and his brother, William J. Morton until 1949. During a break-in and robbery, Curtis Morton was mortally wounded and died in 1949. His three daughters, Sue Morton Jenkins, Catherine Morton, and Bonnie Morton Gillis, survived him. His wife, Zora Price Chissom Morton predeceased him. It is a one-story brick veneer commercial building, one of the few such remaining in the Heights. Its most recent use has been as a private home. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 15, 1988.

The Houston Heights Fire Station is a building located at 12th Street and Yale Street in Houston Heights, Houston, Texas. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is located in block #186.It is a 7,000-square-foot (650 m2) building constructed as Houston Heights' city hall and jail, and fire station in 1914. After annexation, it served as a city of Houston fire station from 1918 until 1995. It was Fire Station 14. The Houston Heights Association took a 30-year lease on the property from the city and refurbished the property. By December 2009 the former city hall was for sale.

The Webber House at 1011 Heights Blvd. in Houston, Texas was built in 1907-1908 by brickmason Samuel H. Webber. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.Queen Anne-style houses are not often constructed of brick, but this one is, with brick laid in common bond. The house also shows Colonial Revival influences.

The David A. Carden House, at 718 W. 17th Ave. in the Houston Heights neighborhood of Houston, Texas, was built in 1918. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.It is a one-and-a-half-story wood-frame building. Its NRHP nomination states: "The David A. Carden House is an excellent and unique example of an owner-built bungalow in the Houston Heights. Although following certain traditional patterns found in similar designs (ie. hipped roof, dormers, and wide eaves) Mr. Carden borrowed an element from the Victorian styles: the spindled frieze placed along the perimeter of the porch. Echoing this element are the turned-wood balusters. Both assist in making this house a unique statement of owner/builder individuality in the area."

The World War II Memorial, also known as World War II Memorial Plaza, is a granite war memorial by Conrad G. Walton, installed in Houston's Heights Boulevard Park, in the U.S. state of Texas.

Heights Neighborhood Library is a public library facility in the Houston Heights area of Houston, Texas. It is a part of Houston Public Library (HPL) and is located at 1302 Heights Boulevard, in Heights block 170. It has a pink Stucco Italian Renaissance façade and arches in its doors and windows. Jason P. Theriot wrote in the Houston Review that the ceilings are "high" and that the arches were "beautifully" done. The library has 14,500 square feet (1,350 m2) of space.The City of Houston designated it as a protected landmark in 2005. The National Park Service added the facility to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1984 as Houston Public Library.

Houston Heights (often referred to simply as "The Heights") is a community in northwest-central Houston, Texas, United States. "The Heights" is often referred to colloquially to describe a larger collection of neighborhoods next to and including the actual Houston Heights. However, Houston Heights has its own history, distinct from Norhill and Woodland Heights.

All Saints Catholic Church is an historic church at 201 East 10th Street in the historic Heights area of Houston, Texas. The parish is a part of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. It is in Houston Heights block 218.The Romanesque Revival-style church building was constructed in 1926 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It contains beautiful Italian stained glass windows. In 2013, iconographer Br. Robert Lentz, OFM, completed the last of 14 icons that adorn the icon wall behind the altar. As of 2014, the congregation numbers about 2,000 families (5,000 people). The pastor since 1999 is Rev. Msgr. Adam McClosky, a native of Anderson, Texas and a priest of the archdiocese. All Saints was organized in January 1908 in what was then known as the “Village of the Heights.” The founding pastor, Father George Walsh, commuted from Galveston and celebrated Eucharist in the Fraternal Hall at 12th and Yale, the site where the Fire Station is now located. In March 1909, the cornerstone of the first church was laid at 10th and Harvard. The church was dedicated by Bishop Gallagher in August 1909. The seating capacity of the church was 300, and the parish numbered 650 families. All Saints School was opened in 1913 and the two sacristies in the church were used as classrooms. A small two room school building was built by the people of the parish and was finished in 1914. This school was operated by the Dominican Sisters, who commuted from St. Agnes Academy located on Fannin Street. The two-story brick school building was completed in 1922. This building is still used as CCE classrooms, nursery, and St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. The present Gothic church and the Rectory were dedicated in 1928, and are still occupied for these purposes. The combination auditorium and cafeteria was built in 1949 to accommodate the increased school enrollment and other parish activities. This building is now the parish hall. As the parish grew, so also did the school. The additional classrooms, now the Third Age Learning Center, were constructed in 1959. A convent, a living area for eight sisters teaching in the school, was built in 1960. This building has been used as the Parish Office since 1986, when the school was closed because of financial difficulties. In 1974, All Saints entered into a joint venture with other religious denominations in the Heights area to build the Heights Tower located on 19th Street, a $3-million, non-profit senior citizen residence.

The Houston Heights Waterworks Reservoir, located at West 20th Street and Nicolson Street in Houston, Texas, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 22, 1983.

Harvard Elementary School is a public primary school in the Houston Heights neighborhood of Houston, Texas, United States. Harvard, a part of the Houston Independent School District, serves grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5. Harvard Elementary School, in Houston Heights block 248, serves a section of that community.Harvard, as of 2013, is the oldest school in Houston that has been continually in operation.

Heights Christian Church is a historic church at 1703 Heights Boulevard in the Houston Heights section of Houston, Texas. It was built in 1927. In 1967 the congregation moved to a new location, but retained ownership of the building which was used for community events. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is now known as Lambert Hall and is used for community events, including operas.
