George Arnold House

The Kenton Historic District is a national historic district located at Kenton, Kent County, Delaware. It encompasses 28 contributing buildings in the crossroads community of Kenton. Except for a few houses that date from the early settlement of the crossroads at the end of the 18th century, most of the buildings in the district date from the last half of the 19th century and more specifically from the 1870s and 1880s. The oldest buildings are the Wilds-Prettyman House (c. 1795) and the Wilds-Cooper House (c. 1780). Other notable buildings include the Kenton Methodist Church (1876), Brick Lodge, Thomas Lamb House (c. 1850), Guessford House (c. 1850), and Queen Anne style "Spindle and Spool" House.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The James Williams House is a historic home and farm complex in Kenton, Kent County, Delaware. The house was built in 1848 and is a two-story, five-bay, center-hall plan brick dwelling with Greek Revival details. It has a rear wing. The front facade features a three-bay porch with chamfered posts and sawn decorative brackets dated to the 1880s. Also on the property are a contributing barn, granary, and outhouse.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Fugitive slaves on the Underground Railroad were harbored in a secret room over the kitchen.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Kenton Post Office is a historic post office building on Maine Street in Kenton, Delaware. It is a two-story Italianate building that was built in 1881 by Francis Greenwell. It was leased out by Greenwell as a store, with a residence above, until the early 20th century when the post office took over the space.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The front facade features a porch, added in the late-19th century. Also on the property are three two-story barns, and a mix of late-19th and early-20th-century milk houses, corn cribs, machine sheds and chicken houses.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
