Honeysuckle Lodge is a historic home located at Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. It is a 1+1⁄2-story eclectic frame dwelling built in stages during the first half of the 20th century. The home has a Colonial Revival style. Also on the property is a 1-story, frame guest house built around 1940. The asbestos-shingled frame structure is supported by a continuous brick foundation, and the medium-sloped gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles. The yard is planted with mature trees and shrubs.Honeysuckle Lodge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The Salisbury University Arboretum, formerly known as the Salisbury State University Arboretum, (50 ha / 125 acres) is an arboretum on the campus of Salisbury University, 1101 Camden Avenue, Salisbury, Maryland. The collection was begun in 1985. In 1988, the entire university campus was declared an arboretum by the American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta and now contains over 2000 plant species. The arboretum is still under active development with indigenous and exotic plant species added yearly. It is located on the Delmarva Peninsula, an area known as Maryland's Eastern Shore. Midway between the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay, at a latitude of approximately 38 degrees, the climate is suitable for mild-temperate zone plants.

On November 21, 2018, the then-WICO changed their format from regional Mexican to a simulcast of classic rock-formatted WJKI-FM 103.5 from Bethany Beach, Delaware, branded as "The Vault". The station changed its call sign to WJKI on November 30, 2018.

Pemberton Hall is a historic home located at Pemberton Park in Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, three-bay, Flemish bond brick house with a gambrel roof. The construction date of "1741" is scratched in a brick above the side door. Pemberton Hall was built by Col. Isaac Handy (d. 1762).During the American Civil War, the Hall was the home of Allison Parsons, a Southern sympathizer. Despite the Federal troops encamped in Salisbury, Parsons insisted on firing a cannon upon the receipt of news of each Confederate victory. After Parsons ignored orders to cease the firings, U.S. Army soldiers raided Pemberton Hall intent on silencing the cannon. Their efforts were thwarted by Parsons, who had buried the cannon before their arrival. "In addition to the cannon firing which provoked the raid, Parsons used Pemberton Hall as a rendezvous for Eastern Shore Confederate sympathizers.".In 1868, the Governor of Maryland, Elihu E. Jackson (1837–1907), purchased Pemberton Hall with James Cannon at a trustee's sale. Seth Taylor owned Pemberton Hall from 1931 to 1963, at which time the Pemberton Hall Foundation took it over and restored the house.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

It was torn down in November 1976, after a ten-year battle to save it. It was built by United States Senator William P. Jackson.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

There are approximately 3,300 employees, placing it among Salisbury's largest employers.Outside of its main hospital location, it includes a network of specialty and family physicians, a network of labs and pharmacies, plus two health complexes in Millsboro, Delaware and Ocean Pines, Maryland.Steven Leonard has been President/CEO since January 2018.In January 2020, Peninsula Health System, parent of the then named Peninsula Regional Medical Center, merged with Nanticoke Health Services of Seaford, Delaware. On September 1, 2020, the health system was officially renamed TidalHealth Services. The renaming coincided with a rebranding of all affiliated institutions with the TidalHealth branding.
