Maull House

William Russell House, also known as the Russell Farmhouse, is a historic home located at Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1803, and is two-story, three-bay, double-pile, side-hall, frame house. A rear wing consists of an original one-room addition and a 20th-century addition. It is sheathed in cypress siding. Also on the property is an original brick milk house. It was the home of William Russell, a tanner and large landowner in early-19th-century Lewes.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Fisher's Paradise, also known as Paradise Point , is a historic home located near Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware. The main house dates to about 1780, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, three-bay, wood frame dwelling sheathed in cedar shingles. It has gable roof with dormers. The kitchen wing is the sole remaining portion of the original 1740s house that is incorporated in the present structure.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

A distinctive feature of the neighborhood is that all of the homes have been relocated to the neighborhood from elsewhere.The name "Shipcarpenter Square" reflects its historical connection to the local shipbuilding industry and in a locale that was once important for the menhaden fisheries. Originally built in the 1980s, developers subdivided the land and relocated Victorian-era homes from other locales, and then restored them with modern utilities.Shipcarpenter Square is located between 3rd Street and 4th Street in one direction and between Park Ave and Burton Avenue in the other direction, and lies entirely within the town of Lewes, Delaware.The private homes that have been relocated to Shipcarpenter Square date from 1730 to 1880.

De Vries Palisade, also known as DeVries Palisade of 1631, is an archaeological site located at Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware. It is the site of the Zwaanendael Colony, the first permanent European presence on the Delaware Bay in 1631, settled by a group of settlers under David Pietersz. de Vries. The settlers landed near this spot to form a whale hunting station and agricultural settlement. A monument was erected on the site; it was dedicated on September 22, 1909.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The district includes 122 contributing buildings and 6 contributing sites encompassing most of the 17th-century town of Lewes, together with part of Pilot Town. The district is primarily residential with resources ranging from small working-class houses to large and ornate houses from the Victorian period in a variety of popular styles including Queen Anne and Second Empire. Also included in the district is the Market Street commercial area, including three frame store buildings and the elaborate Smith Block. Other notable buildings include St. Peter's Episcopal Church, the Ellis Marine Complex, Cannonball House, Governor Ebe W. Tunnell House, Walsh Building, Zwaanendael Museum (1932), Cornelius Burton House, Lewes Historical Society enclave, and the De Wolf Houses. The contributing sites include the site of an 18th-century fort and the 1812 Park.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Lightship Overfalls (LV-118) (later renumbered WAL-539) was the last lightvessel constructed for the United States Lighthouse Service before the Service became part of the United States Coast Guard. She is currently preserved in Lewes, Delaware as a museum ship.

Ryves Holt House (1665) is purportedly the oldest surviving house in the U.S. state of Delaware. It is located at 218 Second Street in Lewes, Delaware. The building, which has been dated to 1665 using dendrochronology, served as one of the earliest inns in the region. It was run for a time by Philip Russell, who was "recorded as a cupbearer to William Penn". After coming to "Port Lewes" in 1721, Ryves Holt, the first Chief Justice of Sussex County, purchased the house. The Lewes Historical Society currently owns and operates the building. On December 30, 2014, the Ryves Holt House was added to the First State National Historical Park.
