Brick Hotel, also known as the Wilmington Trust Co., Georgetown Office, is a historic hotel located at Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1836, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, seven-bay, brick structure in a transitional Federal / Greek Revival style. It has a one-story, rear kitchen wing, and a one-story wing attached to it and dated to the 1930s. It has a slate-tiled roof, double end chimneys, and a modern Greek Revival style verandah. The exterior was altered in 1955, when it was converted from its original use as a hotel to its use as a bank building. In 2008, it was converted back to a hotel. On August 28, 2021, the Brick Hotel closed permanently, with the building having been leased for office space.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

It is an early-19th century, two-story, six-bay, shingled frame dwelling in a vernacular style. It consists of two separate three-bay structures joined to form a single dwelling. It has a two-story rear ell, gable roof, and cross-gable dormer. It features a variety of Greek Revival, Italianate, and Gothic style design elements. Also on the property is a contributing frame garage, built between 1910 and 1930.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Old Sussex County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1793, and is a two-story, five-bay, frame structure in a late Georgian style. It is sheathed in cypress shingles. It was moved to its present location in 1837 and converted to residential use. Its former site on The Circle is occupied by the present Sussex County Courthouse. On September 20, 1962, the building and lot were conveyed to the State of Delaware. A major renovation project was undertaken in 1974.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

Judge's House and Law Office is a historic home and office located at Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. The original structure was built by Justice Peter Robinson about 1810, as a 2+1⁄2-story, single pile, Federal style dwelling with a one-story, two bay southwest wing and one-story, three bay rear wing. The southwest wing was later raised in the 1820s to 2+1⁄2 stories and rear wing raised to 2-stories. In the 1840s, the interior was renovated in the Greek Revival style and the house shingled in cypress. The office was built in 1809, and is a one-story, cypress-shingled frame building, three bays wide, with a gable roof and rear wing.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Sussex County Courthouse and the Circle is a historic courthouse located at The Circle in Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. It was designed by noted Philadelphia architect William Strickland (1788–1854) and built between 1837 and 1840. It is a two-story, brick structure with a brick tower over the entrance hall. It originally featured a squat entrance tower surmounted by an undersized cupola. In 1914, the tower was enlarged and columns were added to the front. Renovations carried out in 1970 gave the building a decidedly more Georgian appearance. The Circle was laid out in 1791-1792 as a public green at the center of a baroque town plan for Georgetown. One of the first buildings constructed was the Old Sussex County Courthouse, which was moved to allow construction of the current Sussex County Courthouse.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Joseph T. Adams House is a historic home located at Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1868, and is a two-story, five-bay, shingled frame dwelling in the Greek Revival style. It has a rear ell, gable roof, and cross-gable dormer. It features corner columns and an elaborate Italianate style cornice. In 1957, the house was acquired for the first permanent home for the Georgetown town offices since its establishment in 1791.Joseph T. Adams (1831-1905) was recorded as working as a clerk on the 1850 and 1860 Census. He was an alderman of the Town of Georgetown from 1873-1876. Ownership of the house passed to his wife, Jane Adams, when he died. When she died in 1914, it passed to their son, William Adams.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Thomas Sipple House, also known as the Chipman House and Boxwood Manor, is a historic home located at Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1861, and is a two-story, five-bay, single pile frame dwelling with a two-story rear ell. It sits on a brick foundation and has a low-pitched gable roof. The house was modified in 1912, to enclose a rear porch, add a sleeping porch, and add a two-story porch connecting the house to two outbuildings. It features Greek Revival and Italianate style design elements.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Dr. John W. Messick House and Office is a historic home and office located at Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1876 and is a 1+1⁄2-story, three-bay, L-shaped frame dwelling with a two-story, five-bay rear wing. It has a recessed turret structure attached at the front as a fourth bay. The house is in a Late Gothic Revival style with a mansard roof in the Second Empire style.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Georgetown Coal Gasification Plant, also known as the Georgetown Service and Gas Company, is a historic coal gasification plant located at Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in the late-19th century, and is a rectangular one-story, three bay by three bay brick structure measuring 40 feet by 25 feet. It has a gable roof with a smaller gable roofed ventilator. Also on the property is a small brick gable roofed brick building measuring 8 feet by 10 feet; a small, square concrete building; a large, cylindrical "surge tank;" 500-gallon bottled-gas tank; and a covered pit for impurities. The complex was privately owned and developed starting in the 1880s to provide metered gas for domestic lighting, town street lights, municipal and domestic uses. The coal gasification process was discontinued in the 1940s.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It is listed on the Delaware Cultural and Historic Resources GIS system as destroyed or demolished.

St. Paul's Protestant Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located at 122 East Pine Street in Georgetown, Delaware, United States. The congregation started in 1794 but this brick building was completed in 1844. It was remodeled in 1881 by McKim Mead and White of New York City in the early Victorian Gothic style. This is one of the 38 parish churches of the Episcopal Diocese of Delaware, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Many statesmen from Sussex County are interred in the churchyard, including Caleb R. Layton, Daniel J. Layton, Charles C. Stockley and others.

Broadkill Hundred (later Broadkiln Hundred) is a hundred in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. Broadkill Hundred was formed in 1696 as one of the original Delaware Hundreds. Originally known as Broadkill Hundred after the Broadkill River, the name was changed to Broadkiln Hundred in 1833 by the 57th Delaware General Assembly. Its primary community is Milton.
