Lesley Bloomfield Shopping Centre (formerly known as Bloomfield Shopping Centre) is a shopping centre and retail park in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. Opened in 1992 and anchored by Tesco and Marks & Spencer, the entire development itself spans 425,085 sq ft (3.95 ha) across the shopping centre, retail park and other standalone businesses which separately span 288,234 sq ft (2.68 ha), 113,114 sq ft (1.05 ha) and 23,737 sq ft (0.22 ha) respectively.

Upritchard Park is a cricket ground in Bangor, Northern Ireland and the home of Bangor Cricket Club. In 2005, the ground hosted three List A matches in the 2005 ICC Trophy. The first of these was between Canada and Scotland, which resulted in a Scottish victory by 7 wickets. The second saw Denmark play the UAE, with the match ending in a no result, while the third saw Ireland play Denmark, with Ireland winning by 73 runs.In 2008, the ground hosted a further List A match between Ireland and Bangladesh A, which resulted in an Irish victory by 5 wickets.

Glenlola Collegiate School is an all-girls' grammar school in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. The school was founded as a school for girls in approximately 1880.In 2018 the Education and Training Electorate evaluated the school as "Good" in all categories.The current principal, Mr W E Thompson, took up post in February 2010, taking over from Richard Finlay.
