The Zuyev Workers' Club (Russian: Клуб имени Зуева) in Moscow is a prominent work of constructivist architecture. It was designed by Ilya Golosov (1883–1945) in 1927 and finished in 1929. The building was designed to house various facilities for Moscow workers, and utilises an innovative glazing treatment at its corner which has proved very photogenic.Golosov was an enthusiast for expressive, dynamic form rather than the logics of Constructivist design methods. The building facade consists of cylindrical glazed staircases intersecting with stacked rectangular floor planes to create a dramatic composition. A sequence of club rooms and open foyers lead to an 850-seat auditorium.Since Golosov's time some of the fenestration has been bricked over, reducing the original perforated cubic mass into a more solid box.

White Square Office Center is a Class A office center (see Office Grading) located next to the Belorusskaya Metro Station in Moscow, Russia. It is known not only as a business center that houses such multinational companies as Deloitte, McKinsey & Company, WorldQuant and PricewaterhouseCoopers, but also as a community landmark, largely due to its fountain (which, during the winter holiday season, is covered with a giant Christmas tree), piazza, mix of cafes and restaurants, community-focused events, and its view of the adjacent Nikolai Chudotvorets Church.

The Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics (Russian: Институт прикладной математики им. М.В.Келдыша) is a research institute specializing in computational mathematics. It was established to solve computational tasks related to government programs of nuclear and fusion energy, space research and missile technology. The Institute is a part of the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The main direction of activity of the institute is the use of computer technology to solve complex scientific and technical issues of practical importance. Since 2016, development of mathematical and computational methods for biological research, as well as a direct solution to the problems of computational biology with the use of such methods, has also been included in the circle of scientific activities of the institute.

The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Moscow was the largest of a series of cathedrals erected in Imperial Russia in commemoration of Alexander Nevsky, the patron saint of Emperors Alexander II and Alexander III. It was conceived by Alexander Pomerantsev and Viktor Vasnetsov as a 70-metre-tall memorial to Alexander II's Emancipation reform of 1861.The foundation stone of the votive church was laid on Miusskaya Square (an industrial area in the northwest of Moscow) in 1911, on the 50th anniversary of the Emancipation Manifesto, in the presence of Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna. Construction did not start in earnest until 1913, and the First World War impeded further progress. The first chapel was dedicated to St. Tikhon of Voronezh in 1915.After the Russian Revolution, the huge 17-domed church capable of accommodating more than 4,000 persons stood unfinished, while the Soviets debated whether to have it reconstructed into a crematory or a radio centre. It was the largest church in Moscow after the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. The dilapidated concrete shell was eventually torn down in 1952. A Pioneers Palace was raised on the old foundation in 1960.

Belorusskaya (Russian: Белору́сская) is a station on the Moscow Metro's Koltsevaya line. It is named after the nearby Belorussky Rail Terminal. It opened in 1952, serving briefly as the terminus of the line before the circle was completed in 1954. Designed by Ivan Taranov, Z. Abramova, A. Markova, and Ya. Tatarzhinskaya, the station has low, white marble pylons, an elaborately patterned plaster ceiling, light fixtures supported by ornate scroll-shaped brackets, and a variety of decorations based on Belarusian themes. Overhead, twelve octagonal mosaics by G. Opryshko, S. Volkov, and I. Morozov depict Belarusian daily life, and underfoot the platform is intricately tiled to resemble a Belarusian quilt. A sculptural group by sculptor Matvey Manizer called "Soviet Belorussia" used to stand at the end of the platform before it was removed in 1998 to make room for a second entrance. Another sculptural group, "Belarusian Partisans," by S.M. Orlov, S. M. Rabinovich, and I. A. Slonim, is located in the passage between this station and Belorusskaya–Radialnaya. The station's original vestibule is located at the southwest corner of Belorusskaya Square. A newer entrance opens onto Butirsky Val Street. In 2002, a bomb exploded under one of Belorusskaya's marble benches, injuring seven people.

Belorusskaya (Russian: Белору́сская) is a Moscow Metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya line. Designed by architects Ivan Taranov and Nadezhda Bykova, it was opened in 1938 as part of the second stage of the Moscow Metro.

Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU (Russian: Высшая партийная школа при ЦК КПСС) was a higher party-political educational institution in the Soviet Union for the training and retraining of the leadership of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and Soviet state, and media workers (radio, print, and television), which existed in Moscow from 1939 to 1978. It was merged with the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the CPSU. About 10,000 party and government workers graduated from the institution, and more than 14,500 completed retraining courses.

Shanyavsky Moscow City People's University (Russian: Московский городской народный университет имени А. Л. Шанявского) was a university in Moscow that was founded in 1908 with funds from the gold mining philanthropist Alfons Shanyavsky. The university was nationalized in 1918 after the Russian revolution and merged into the Russian State University for the Humanities. The university was officially founded on October 2, 1908 after many years of bureaucratic wrangling between Lidia, the wife of deceased mining magnate A. L. Shanyavsky and the city of Moscow.. The aim of the university was to provide education in all branches of knowledge to any person. The city was governed by a board of trustees including half appointed by the City Duma. In the first semester 400 students joined and by 1912 there were 3600 students. The university building was established by the city council on Miusskaya Square on July 21, 1911. It had 23 classrooms with two amphitheaters that could hold 200 students each and another that could take 600. Teachers at the university included A. Kizevetter, A. Chayanov, M. Bogoslovsky, Y. Gauthier, M. V. Pavlova, N. K. Koltsov and others. Many of the early professors came from Moscow State University after quitting due to Lev Kasso. The university became a centre for the organization of students for the 1917 revolution. In 1918 the university was closed and the management moved from the trustees to the People's Commissariat for Education. In 1919 it became a part of the Moscow State University.

Central House of Cinema (CDK) is a movie theater in Moscow, Russia, established in 1934 and currently managed by the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation. CDK is a venue for film premieres, as well as open talks, artistic encounters, conferences, etc.

Butyrskaya prison (Russian: Бутырская тюрьма, tr. Butýrskaya tyurmá), usually known simply as Butyrka (Russian: Бутырка, IPA: [bʊˈtɨrkə]), is a prison in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow, Russia. In Imperial Russia it served as the central transit prison. During the Soviet Union era (1917-1991) it held many political prisoners. As of 2022 Butyrka remains the largest of Moscow's remand prisons. Overcrowding is an ongoing problem.

The Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH, RGGU; Russian: Росси́йский госуда́рственный гуманита́рный университе́т, РГГУ, romanized: Rossijskij gosudarstvennyj gumanitarnyj universitet, RGGU), is a university in Moscow, Russia with over 25,000 students. It was created in 1991 as the result of the merger of the Moscow Urban University of the People (est. 1908) and the Moscow State University for History and Archives (est. 1930). It is one of the leading universities for humanities in the Russian Federation.

Saratov Lizyukov Higher Military Command and Engineering School of Missile Forces (Russian: Саратовское высшее военное командно-инженерное училище ракетных войск) is a military educational institution of the Russian Armed Forces in Saratov. It was originally founded in 1918 and passed through number of re-organizations.
