Near the station there are the Chilean Investigations Police school, and the grounds of an old amusement park, Mundomágico, which has become the Cultural Center of Lo Prado city. In 2009, one of the platforms was partially demolished to make way for a third track, which made necessary the partial rebuilding of the station east of its original location. The project included an additional street-level mezzanine. The central track is currently used for reversing the direction of trains.

It is an underground station located between the stations Ecuador and Universidad de Santiago on the same line, below the Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins and Toro Mazotte street, in the commune of Estación Central. The station was opened on 15 September 1975 as part of the inaugural section of the line between San Pablo and La Moneda. It was opened under the name of Pila del Ganso, due to a decorative fountain located just above the station in the central reservation of the Alameda, close to Toro Mazotte street. In 2005, because of the recent canonization of Alberto Hurtado, the board of directors of Metro S.A. approved the change of name of the station to San Alberto Hurtado, whose sanctuary and Hogar de Cristo headquarters are located close to the station.

Blanqueado is an underground metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station was opened on 12 January 2010 as part of the extension of the line from Quinta Normal to Pudahuel.The tunnel containing the platforms, which are 135 metres (443 ft) long, is connected by a concourse tunnel to a large shaft, which includes the ticket hall, as well as the stairways and elevator that lead to the only exit. The tracks rest at a depth of 18.6 m (61 ft).

Lo Prado is an underground metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The entrance to the station is located in front of the town hall of Lo Prado. The station was opened on 12 January 2010 as part of the extension of the line from Quinta Normal to Pudahuel.The station consists of three cylindrical volumes. The platforms and tracks are in a NATM-built tunnel, which is perpendicularly intersected by a second volume. At that point, a bridge connects both platforms, which is supported at each end by the shaft structures of two elevators. The upper levels are contained within a cut-and-cover volume, which has a helical internal layout. The walls at platform level are paneled with rectangular slabs in orange tones. The length of the platforms is 135 m (443 ft).

He was declared as saint by the Pope Benedict XVI in 2005. Currently, this foundation serves monthly more than 25,000 people in extreme poverty, in the more than 500 works throughout the country. It is led by Fr. Pablo Walker and is part of the works of the Jesuits in Chile.

Universidad de Santiago is an underground metro station on the Line 1 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. Is named for the nearby University of Santiago. The station is adjacent to the Evangelical Cathedral of Santiago and to the main bus stations in the city. It was opened on 15 September 1975 as part of the inaugural section of the line between San Pablo and La Moneda.The station has a central mezzanine that overlooks the outer portions of the platform level. There is artwork on the walls of the four platforms stairways that honors the aforementioned university, which was unveiled on August 30, 2005.

San Pablo is a rapid transit complex in the Santiago Metro, located in Lo Prado. Lines 1 and 5 stop there, being the western terminus of the former. Opening on 15 September 1975 for the Line 1, as part of the inaugural section of the line between San Pablo and La Moneda, San Pablo is one of the oldest stations in the system, and the Line 1 station is the only one in the system located in a short open cut section ending at each platform's end. The Line 5 station was opened on 12 January 2010 as part of the extension of the line from Quinta Normal to Pudahuel.On October 19, 2019, in the framework of the protests in Chile, the station corresponding to line 1 suffered a fire that severely charred it, including an NS-2007 that was parked on the platforms. The station for line 5 was reopened on December 30, 2019, while the station for line 1 was reopened on July 25, 2020.
