Macul metro station

Las Torres is a freeway-median metro station on the Line 4 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is built into the median of Vespucio Sur expressway. The station is located immediately north of the cloverleaf interchange of Américo Vespucio Avenue and Las Torres Avenue, which is named so because it features high tension towers along its median (Las Torres is Spanish for The Towers). Las Torres Avenue gives its name to the station. The station was opened on 2 March 2006 as part of the connection between Grecia and Vicente Valdés.The station features a sinusoidal roof, with a much larger wave covering the mezzanine level, which is accessed via two pedestrian bridges. Nearby points of interest include the building housing the main offices of the concessionaire of Vespucio Sur and the Doctor Luis Tisné Hospital.

Vicuña Mackenna is a station on the Santiago Metro in Santiago, Chile. It is a transfer station between the Line 4 and the Line 4A and is the eastern terminus of the Line 4A. The Line 4 station was opened on 2 March 2006 as part of the connection between Grecia and Vicente Valdés. The Line 4A station was opened on 16 August 2006 as part of the inaugural section of the line between Vicuña Mackenna and La Cisterna.The station is composed of a street-level mezzanine, an embanked level, which is located along Vespucio Sur Freeway, and an underground level. The lower level was originally designed to serve both lines as a kind of branch for the would-be Line 4A, but it currently only serves Line 4. The embankment has a temporary platform that overlaps one of the original tracks.

Bellavista de La Florida is an underground metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station was opened on 5 April 1997 as the southern terminus of the extension of the line from Baquedano. It has served as the southern terminus of the Line 5 until Vicente Valdés metro station was opened on November 30, 2005. Despite their closeness, there is no direct connection between Bellavista and Vicuña Mackenna metro station. Like Rondizzoni metro station, Bellavista de La Florida was flooded in June 2000.Nearby landmarks include Mall Plaza Vespucio and the town hall of La Florida, the district where the station is located.

The Estadio Monumental is a football Stadium in Macul, south-east of the centre of the Chilean capital Santiago. It serves as the home ground of Colo-Colo, and on occasions also for other clubs and the national football team. The stadium has a current spectator capacity of 47,347. The actual playing field is named after David Arellano, the founder of Colo-Colo; therefore, on occasions the whole stadium is referred to as Estadio Monumental David Arellano. The stadium was first opened in 1975 with a double-header in front of 25,599 people. In the first match Santiago Morning and Santiago Wanderers drew 1-1 and in the main event Colo-Colo defeated Deportes Aviación 1-0, Carlos Orellana being the scorer. However, the stadium proved unsuitable for ongoing use, and therefore only five more matches took place there for the time being. Completed in its current form in 1989, it was reopened in September of that year with a match between Colo-Colo and CA Peñarol from Uruguay, which the hosts won 2-1, thanks to goals by Marcelo Barticciotto and Leonel Herrera. The official capacity of the stadium then was between 62,500 and 65,000 spectators. The highest ever recorded attendance when 69,305 spectators saw a league match between Colo-Colo and Club Universidad de Chile in 1992. In the 2016-17 season, Colo-Colo drew an average home league attendance of 21,509 for the Apertura and 23,229 for the Clausura. The stadium was in 1991 home to the second Copa Libertadores final, won by Colo-Colo 3-0, making it the sole Chilean club to win the trophy. Accidents, including a fatality in 1993, instigated various modernisations which led to a reduction of the capacity to the current 47,000 spectators. The stadium is also rented out to club Santiago Morning and other Chilean teams that require holding games on the international tournament scale. It has also been used by the Chile national football team when the Estadio Nacional, the main football stadium of the country, is unavailable. The American rock band Pearl Jam played at the stadium on November 16, 2011, as part of their 20th anniversary tour. The hard rock band Guns N' Roses performed at the stadium during their Not In This Lifetime...Tour on September 29, 2017.Its principal tenant and owner is the corporate entity Blanco y Negro that runs Colo-Colo and for which Chilean billionaire and President Sebastián Piñera is a major shareholder.

Mirador is an elevated metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. A footbridge connects the concourse level to the Mall Florida Center. The station was opened on 5 April 1997 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Baquedano to Bellavista de La Florida.Like the older elevated stations on the Line 5, Mirador is being upgraded to support longer trains. The current side platforms are five-car long, but once finished, the renovation will allow the platforms can serve seven-car trains.

Vicente Valdés is a completely underground transfer station between the Line 4 and Line 5 of the Santiago Metro. The Line 4 station was opened on 30 November 2005 as the northern terminus of the inaugural section of the line between Vicente Valdés and Plaza de Puente Alto. The line 5 station was opened at the same day as a one station extension from Bellavista de La Florida. On 2 March 2006, Line 4 was extended north to Grecia.

Pedrero is an elevated metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located close to the Estadio Monumental David Arellano. The station was opened on 5 April 1997 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Baquedano to Bellavista de La Florida.The station is undergoing upgrade work, which includes the lengthening of platforms and the installation of a tensile membrane roof.

Quilín is a freeway-median metro station on the Line 4 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It acts as a central support structure for the northern bridge of a roundabout interchange called Quilín. The station was opened on 2 March 2006 as part of the connection between Grecia and Vicente Valdés.The station features an undulating roof whose central portion is part of the road deck of the aforementioned bridge. It has a mezzanine on its southern end; the mezzanine is connected to two exits by a curved grade-separated walkway, which consists of a footbridge at the center and two pedestrian tunnels at both ends.

La Florida (Spanish pronunciation: [la floˈɾiða], Spanish for "the flowery") is an urban-suburban commune of Chile located in the South East of Santiago, Santiago Metropolitan Region. It is a residential area and its inhabitants are mostly members of a new middle to upper-middle class. It ranks number 12 out of 346 among Chilean communes in terms of Human Development Index. Its mayor is Rodolfo Carter (Chile Vamos).

Santa Julia station is an embanked metro station located on Line 4A of the Santiago Metro in Santiago, Chile, between Vicuña Mackenna station and La Granja station in the commune of La Florida. It lies along the Vespucio Sur Freeway at the junction with Santa Julia Street. The station was opened on 16 August 2006 as part of the inaugural section of the line between Vicuña Mackenna and La Cisterna.The area around the station is mainly residential and contains the Villa O’Higgins Family Health Center (Spanish: Centro de Salud Familiar Villa O’Higgins). The station also has disabled access.

Rojas Magallanes is an elevated metro station on the Line 4 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station has two side platforms and two tracks on a precast concrete segmental viaduct with single central columns. It is enclosed in a tubular structure with elliptical cross section, from which protrude two balcony-like structures containing stairs that lead to the mezzanine level. The station was opened on 30 November 2005 as part of the inaugural section of the line between Vicente Valdés and Plaza de Puente Alto.

San Joaquín is an elevated metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located close to the San Joaquín Campus of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. The station was opened on 5 April 1997 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Baquedano to Bellavista de La Florida.Like the rest of the first stations built on a viaduct in Santiago, San Joaquín is being renovated to be capable of berthing 7-car trains. The renovation work was scheduled to be terminated in March 2013.
