Saint Olaf's Church (Danish: Sankt Olai Kirke) is the cathedral church of Helsingør in the north of Zealand, Denmark. With a history going back to around 1200, the present building was completed in 1559. In 1961, the church was given the status of cathedral in connection with the establishment of the Diocese of Helsingør.

The Diocese of Helsingør (Danish: Helsingør Stift) is a diocese within the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Denmark. It comprises the Danish Capital Region except for the core municipalities of Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Tårnby and Dragør. Disjoined from the Diocese of Copenhagen on 1 January 1961, it is the most recently established of the 10 dioceses within the Danish state church. The main church is Saint Olaf's Church in Helsingør.The current bishop is Peter Birch who succeeded Lise-Lotte Rebel on 1 April 2021.

Helsingør Custom House (Danish: Helsingør Toldkammer) is a former custom house situated next to Helsingør station in central Helsingør, Denmark. Completed in 1891 to a Historicist design by Johan Daniel Herholdt, it replaced Øresund Custom House, which had played a central role in Denmark's collection of Sound Dues before it was demolished in connection with an expansion of the harbour in the 1860s. The new custom house remained in use until 1976 and is today part of the Kulturværftet, a nearby cultural centre, hosting smaller concerts, exhibitions and other events.

The Carmelite Priory, Helsingør, or Priory of Our Lady, Helsingør (Vor Frue Kloster), was a house of Carmelite friars in Helsingør, Zealand, Denmark, established in 1430. It is the finest example of a complete monastic complex surviving in Denmark, and one of the best in all of Scandinavia.

The Classen Mansion (Danish: Det Classenske Palæ) is a Neoclassical manor house situated on Strandgade in Helsingør, Denmark. It was built for a prosperous businessman in the 1790s and now houses the local Odd Fellows Lodge. The house overlooks Helsingør's harbourfront at Wibroes Plads and is flanked by Skibsklarerergaarden to the left and the Stephan Hansen Mansion to the right.

Helsingør station (Danish pronunciation: [helse̝ŋˈøɐ̯ˀ stæˈɕoˀn]) is the principal railway station serving the city of Helsingør (English: Elsinore), Denmark. It is the terminus of the Coast Line to Copenhagen, the Little North Line to Hillerød and the Hornbæk Line to Gilleleje. It also provides easy access to the ferries to Helsingborg, Sweden.

The Stephan Hansen Mansion (Danish: Stephen Hansens Palæ) is a listed town mansion overlooking Wibroes Plads and the Øresund in Helsingør, Denmark. It was built by Philip de Lange and represents the transition from Baroque to Rococo architecture.

The Osten House (Danish Ostens Gård) is a Rococo-style townhouse located at Stengade 83 in Helsingør, Denmark. The building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.

Helsingør Municipality (a variant English name: Elsinore Municipality; Danish: Helsingør Kommune), is a municipality in the Capital Region on the northeast coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 121.6 km2, and has a total population of 63,399 (1. January 2023). Its mayor as of 1 January 2014 is Benedikte Kiær, a member of the Conservative political party.

Kulturværftet (The Culture Yard in English) is a cultural centre located in Helsingør, Denmark. The center was established in 2010, in the buildings of the former Helsingør Værft or Elsinore Shipyard. Kulturværftet is part of Kulturhavn Kronborg, a project by the city of Helsingør to leave the industrial era behind and enter a new chapter for the town. Kulturhavn Kronborg is a joint initiative between Kronborg Castle, the Danish Maritime Museum, Kulturværftet, and Helsingør harbour, and is designed to offer a variety of cultural experiences to residents and visitors. Kulturværftet consists of 13,000 m2 (140,000 sq ft) of space dedicated to concerts, theatre, performance, events and exhibitions. The M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark (Danish: M/S Museet for Søfart) is a maritime museum located in Helsingør, Denmark. Established in 1915, its collections cover Danish trade and shipping from the 15th century to the present day. The museum was originally located at Kronborg Castle. In 2013, the museum moved into new underground premises designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) around a former dry dock. Until 31 December 2011, the museum was known as Handels- og Søfartsmuseet (literally "The Trade and Maritime Museum"), which was officially translated as the Danish Maritime Museum.

Helsingør ( HEL-sing-UR, Danish: [helse̝ŋˈøɐ̯ˀ]; Swedish: Helsingör), classically known in English as Elsinore ( EL-sin-or, -⁠OR), is a city in eastern Denmark. Helsingør Municipality had a population of 63,399 on 1 January 2023. Helsingør and Helsingborg in Sweden together form the northern reaches of the Øresund Region, centered on Copenhagen and Malmö. The HH Ferry route connects Helsingør with Helsingborg, 4 km (2.5 miles) across the Øresund. Its castle Kronborg was used by William Shakespeare as the setting for his play Hamlet.
