Bustamante Park

The Valdivieso advertising sign (Spanish: letrero publicitario de Valdivieso) is a rooftop outdoor advertisement at 93 General Bustamante Street, Santiago, Chile. Erected around 1954, it was declared a National Monument of Chile on May 31, 2010.The neon sign turns on at 9:00 PM during the summer and at 6:00 PM during the winter.

The Monarch advertising sign (letrero publicitario de Monarch in Spanish) is a neon billboard located on the roof of a building at 51 Rancagua Street, in the Santiago Metropolitan Region of Santiago, Chile. The sign was initially installed in 1954, and in 2010 was declared a National Monument of Chile. It is also classified as a Historical Monument.

Parque Bustamante is an underground metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located beneath Parque Bustamante, which gives the name to the station. The station was opened on 5 April 1997 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Baquedano to Bellavista de La Florida.Originally the platform side walls featured mosaics that were vaguely designed to resemble trees. That decoration was disguised by the mural-like artwork named Vida y Trabajo, which was completed in 2008. Another artwork installed here is named El Sitio de las Cosas by Pablo Rivera, which is made of polyester resin coated with an applied copper patina.

The University of Chile Student Federation (Federación de Estudiantes de la Universidad de Chile [abbr. FECh]) is an organization that represents all the students enrolled in undergraduate and post-graduate courses at the University of Chile. The student organizations of the different undergraduate schools are also federated within the FECh. Camila Vallejo Dowling, a graduate student in geography from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Chile, assumed the post president of FECh in November 2010. She was defeated in her bid for re-election on 7 December 2011 by Gabriel Boric, a Law graduate. The president for the 2013 period was Andrés Fielbaum. The position after that held by Melissa Sepúlveda, a medical student, who is a member of the Frente de Estudiantes Libertarios (Libertarian Student Front) - an anarchist organisation.

The Former Embassy of Argentina in Chile is a building located at 41 Vicuña Mackenna Avenue, near the Plaza Baquedano, in downtown Santiago, Chile, housing the General Consulate of Argentina in Santiago. It was declared as a National Monument of Chile on July 24, 2003, within the category of Historic Monuments.

Torre Telefónica Chile (Spanish for Telephone Tower Chile) formerly known as Edificio CTC is a high-rise office building in the Providencia district of Santiago, Chile. Built between 1993 and 1996, the tower stands at 143 m (469 ft) tall with 34 floors and is the current 3rd tallest building in Chile.

Baquedano is a transfer station between the Line 1 and Line 5 of the Santiago Metro. It is located close to the eastern terminus of the Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins. The station was initially a single-line station on the Line 1, later was enlarged since the Line 5's opening date. there are plans for the future line 7 to intersect with this station. The Line 1 station was opened on 31 March 1977 as part of the extension of the line from La Moneda to Salvador. The Line 5 station was opened on 5 April 1997 as the northern terminus of the inaugural section of the line, from Baquedano to Bellavista de La Florida. On 3 March 2000, the line was extended to Santa Ana.

Plaza Baquedano, commonly known as Plaza Italia, is a major landmark in Santiago, Chile. The plaza was inaugurated in 1928, being crowned by a monument made by Chilean sculptor Virgínio Arias and featuring General Manuel Baquedano, giving the current name to the urban landmark. It is located where formerly the Mapocho River used to fork. The oval-shaped plaza is the focal point of celebrations and riots in the city. The area also serves as a hub for Santiago's street network. Some of the main streets of Santiago intersect in the area, including Providencia Avenue, Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins Avenue (best known as Alameda) and Vicuña Mackenna Avenue. A tunnel entrance to the Costanera Norte Highway is close to Plaza Baquedano. Parque Forestal, Balmaceda Park and Bustamante Park converge here.

The Academy of Christian Humanism University (UAHC) (Spanish: Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano) is a Chilean non-profit private university, founded in 1988 but whose origins date back to 1975 when establishing the Academy of Christian Humanism, led by Cardinal Raúl Silva Henríquez (SDB), whose purpose was to bring together a group of intellectuals to discuss the politics, society, economy and culture of Chile. This university, also known simply as La Academia (The Academy) is accredited in the areas of Institutional Management and Undergraduate Studies by the National Commission on Accreditation, an organization that ensures the quality of higher education in Chile, for a period of 3 years from December 2008 and December 2011. It, along with the Andrés Bello and Diego Portales University was awarded research funds from the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FONDECYT) program's regular contest of 2009. The University now offers 21 courses leading to diploma and degree graduates, special programs and 9 master's programs in the areas of Social Sciences, Education, Arts and Culture, State, Economy and Management, and also a PhD in Education with twenty years of experience.

Santa Isabel is a metro station on Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It takes its name from its location beneath the intersection of Avenida General Bustamante with Avenida Santa Isabel, the intersection that delineates the communes of Providencia, Ñuñoa and Santiago. The station is located underground, between the stations Parque Bustamante to the north and Irarrázaval to the south. The station was opened on 5 April 1997 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Baquedano to Bellavista de La Florida.Access to Santa Isabel metro station is via Santa Isabel Avenue, at its east and west intersection with General Bustamante Avenue. The station also has disability access.

Universidad San Sebastián (USS, St. Sebastian University) is a chilean private autonomous Chilean university founded in 1989 in Concepción and accredited at the Advanced level. Its headquarters situated in Santiago de Chile. It is also located in Concepción (its previous headquarters), Valdivia and Puerto Montt. As of 2025, these facilities cover 155,000 m² of constructed space and serve over 52,000 students. In 2001, USS gets a formal state recognition as autonomous university. Since 2017, it has been part of the Unified Admission System (SUA) of Chilean universities. In 2013 the school of medicine of this university was the second biggest in Chile by number of students.
