The National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus (Belarusian: Нацыянальны мастацкі музей Рэспублікі Беларусь) is the largest art museum in Belarus and is located in Minsk. The museum comprises more than thirty thousands works of art which make up twenty various collections and constitutes two main ones: the one of national art and the other of art monuments of various countries of the world.

Belarusian State Technological University (Russian: Белорусский государственный технологический университет; Belarusian: Беларускі Дзяржаўны Тэхналагічны Універсітэт) is a university in Minsk, Belarus specialized in engineering and technology. It was established in Gomel in 1930 as the Forestry Institute. In 1941, it was evacuated to Sverdlovsk, now Yekaterinburg. Returned to Gomel in 1944, but in 1946 relocated to Minsk as the Belarusian Institute of Technology.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus (Belarusian: Міністэрства замежных спраў Рэспублікі Беларусь, BGN/PCGN: Ministerstva zamiežnykh spraú Respubliki Bielarus’; Russian: Министерство иностранных дел Республики Беларусь, BGN/PCGN: Ministerstvo inostrannyh del Respubliki Belarus’) is the Belarusian government ministry which oversees the foreign relations of Belarus. The current Minister of Foreign Affairs is Maxim Ryzhenkov, since June 2024. Anatoly Glaz, a diplomat and spokesperson of the Ministry, has voiced criticism of international sanctions against the Lukashenko regime and justified bans on foreign journalists from working in Belarus.

The Constitutional Court of Belarus is one of the top-tier courts in the eastern European country. Created in 1994, the Court is run under guidelines that were issued in 1997. The purpose of the court is to render justice in areas where the constitution has come into question, such as a local law contradicting the constitution. There are 12 judges that sit on the bench, with all having degrees in legal studies, as required by Belarusian law. Six of the judges are appointed by the President while the other six are appointed by the Council of the Republic. Regardless of the manner of appointment, the judges sit on the bench for a term of 11 years.

Belarusian National History and Culture Museum is a museum in Minsk, Belarus. The leading Museum of the historic profile of the Republic of Belarus is the biggest collection of the monuments of material and spiritual culture of the Belarusian people from the ancient times to modern day. It contains around 370,000 artefacts. Chronological frames of the museum fund are from 40,000 B.C. to present time. Several collections of the museum are of special value: Collection of materials on the history of primeval society including hunting, fishing, and agricultural instruments, domestic and ritual articles, ancient works of art and adornment Manuscripts and block letter books Collection «Belarusian folk costume» features both everyday and festal, ceremonial Belarusian clothes; there are costumes of different age and social groups of population Numismatics collectionThe museum was established in 1957 as a museum of local lore, history, and economy. In 1991 it was reorganized to the National museum. In 1967, the museum was opened for visitors. At present, approximately 100,000 visitors attend the museum annually.

The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB; Belarusian: Нацыянальны банк Рэспублікі Беларусь; Russian: Национальный банк Республики Беларусь) is the central bank of Belarus, located in Minsk. The bank was created in 1922 under the name of "Belarusian Republican Bank" by the Soviet of People's Commissars of Byelorussia, but soon worked under the direction of the State Bank of the USSR. Undergoing reorganizations in 1959 and 1987, the bank appeared in its current form in 1990 after the passage of banking rules upon declaring independence from the Soviet Union.

Janka Kupala National Academic Theatre (Belarusian: Нацыянальны акадэмічны тэатр імя Янкі Купалы, Minsk) is the oldest existing theatre in Belarus. It is included in the list of the cultural heritage of Belarus.

Kupalawskaya (Belarusian: Купалаўская) is a Minsk Metro station. Opened on December 31, 1990. The station is one of three on the Minsk Metro to have been built with an entrance in an existing building, the other two being Kastrychnitskaya and Ploshcha Lyenina.

The State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus (KGB RB; Russian: Комитет государственной безопасности Республики Беларусь, КГБ РБ; Belarusian: Камітэт дзяржаўнай бяспекі Рэспублікі Беларусь, КДБ РБ, romanized: Kamitet dziaržaŭnaj biaspieki Respubliki Belarus', KDB RB) is the national intelligence agency of Belarus. Along with its counterparts in Transnistria and South Ossetia, it kept the unreformed name after declaring independence. It is the successor to the KGB of the Byelorussian SSR, a branch of the Soviet KGB which operated in the Byelorussian republic. Felix Dzerzhinsky, who founded the first Soviet secret police, the Cheka, was born in present-day Belarus and remains an important figure in the state ideology of Belarus under president Alexander Lukashenko as well as a patron of the Belarusian KGB. It is governed by the law About State Security Bodies of the Republic of Belarus.The KGB has command over the Alpha Group as the main counter-terrorist unit, although they can be tasked to help the Militsiya and other law enforcement organizations in anti-crime operations.

Republican unitary enterprise Beltelecom (Belarusian: Рэспубліканскае ўнітарнае прадпрыемства электрасувязі Белтэлекам; Russian: Республиканское унитарное предприятие электросвязи Белтелеком) is the national telecommunications company in Belarus, fully owned by the Government of Belarus and operated by the Ministry of Telecommunications. Beltelecom has a network of fiber-optic trunk lines and is the sole provider of fixed telephony in Belarus. It provides long-distance and international calls, broadband access to the Internet via ADSL, and Wi-Fi services.

Kastrychnitskaya (Belarusian: Кастрычніцкая; Russian: Октябрьская) is a Minsk Metro station. It opened on June 30, 1984. The station is one of three on the Minsk Metro to have been built with an entrance in an existing building, the other two being Kupalawskaya and Ploshcha Lyenina.

The 2011 Minsk Metro bombing took place on 11 April 2011 when 15 people were killed and 204 were injured when a bomb exploded within the Minsk Metro, Belarus. The explosion happened at the central Kastryčnickaja station at 17:55 local time.Initially the cause of the explosion was unclear, but was found to have been a bomb. The Prosecution Office launched a criminal investigation and classified the event as a terrorist attack. Two suspects arrested on 13 April confessed to the bombing but the motives remained unclear. In March 2012, both perpetrators, Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou, were executed by shooting.There has been considerable debate about the possibility that the Belarusian government itself was behind the bombing. The UN Security Council statement condemning the bombing refers to "the apparent terrorist attack". The trial attracted international political condemnation and the verdicts passed out have been questioned, primarily by the Belarusian opposition and the EU. The bombing came at a time of a serious economic crisis and protests against President Alexander Lukashenko's government.
