Nordre Toldbod is a waterfront area in Copenhagen, Denmark, located at the north end of Larsens Plads and just south of Kastellet. It takes its name after the custom house or toldbod which used to be located in the area. Most of the historic buildings in the area were torn down in 1973 when the site was redeveloped but its central waterfront space has remained intact and features a number of structures which bear testament to its former use. Among the modern buildings in the area are the headquarters of Mærsk and the Danish Energy Agency. The area is adjacent to Churchill and Langelinie Parks.

Lumskebugten is a restaurant located in a listed building at Esplanaden 21 in Copenhagen, Denmark. It has been owned by Erwin Lauterbach since 2011. With a history that goes back to 1854, it is one of the oldest restaurants in the city. Built as part of a new entrance complex for the Northern Customs House area, it originally attracted a clientele of sailors, dockers and personnel from the naval base Nyholm. A locality on the south coast of Germania Land in northeast Greenland was named after the restaurant in 1907.

A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S (Danish: [ˈɛˀ ˈpʰe̝ˀ mølɐˈmɛɐ̯sk]), also known simply as Maersk (English: MAIRSK), is a Danish shipping company, active in ocean and inland freight transportation and associated services, such as supply chain management and port operation. Maersk was the largest container shipping line and vessel operator in the world from 1996 until 2022. The company is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, with subsidiaries and offices across 130 countries and around 83,000 employees worldwide in 2020.It is a publicly traded family business, as the company is controlled by the namesake Møller family through holding companies. In September 2016, Maersk Group announced that it was splitting into two separate divisions: Transport & Logistics, and Energy. The company's 2018 annual revenue was US$39 billion (2019). In the 2020 Forbes Global 2000, Møller-Maersk was ranked as the 622nd -largest public company in the world.

The Gefion Fountain (Danish: Gefionspringvandet) is a large fountain on the harbour front in Copenhagen, Denmark. It features a large-scale group of oxen pulling a plow and being driven by the Norse goddess Gefjon. It is located in Nordre Toldbod area next to Kastellet and immediately south of Langelinie.

St. Alban's Church, locally often referred to simply as the English Church, is an Anglican church in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built from 1885 to 1887 for the benefit of the growing English congregation in the city. Designed by Arthur Blomfield as a traditional English parish church in the Gothic Revival style, it is in a peaceful park setting at the end of Amaliegade in the northern part of the city centre, next to the citadel Kastellet and the Gefion Fountain and Langelinie. The church is part of the Church of England's Diocese in Europe. It is dedicated to Saint Alban, the first martyr of Great Britain.

The Ivar Huitfeldt Column is a monument at Langelinie in Copenhagen, Denmark, built to commemorate the death of Admiral Ivar Huitfeldt and his men from HDMS Dannebroge, which exploded and sank in the Battle of Køge Bat during the Great Northern War. The monument was constructed in 1886 to a design by Vilhelm Dahlerup. Ferdinand Edvard Ring was responsible for the statue of the Roman goddess of victory, Victoria, and for the reliefs, while Carl Brummer undertook the monument's architectural design.

Amaliegade 40, formerly known as Toldbodbørsen, is a Neoclassical property located at the corner of Amaliegade (No. 49) and Esplanaden (No. 48) in the Frederiksstaden district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The shipping company D/S Norden was based in the building for more than one hundred years. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.

Amaliegade 47 (1859–1926: Amaliegade 41) is a Neoclassical property situated at the north end of Amaliegade, around the corner from Esplanaden, in the Frederiksstaden district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Notable former residents include the diplomat Peder Blicher Olsen and the military officer Philipp Wörishöffer. Julius F. Schierbeck's Eftf., a ship-chandler's business, was later, from 1859 until at least the 1950s, based in the building. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945.

The Langelinie Pavilion (Danish: Langeliniepavillonen) is a venue located at the Langelinie waterfront in Copenhagen, Denmark. The first Langelinie Pavilion was built in the 1880s but the current building is a Modernist structure from 1958 and was designed by Nils and Eva Koppel. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 12 March 2006. Poul Henningsen's PH Artichoke lamp was designed for the building. The building is located close to the statue of The Little Mermaid and the Ivar Huitfeldt Column.

Vestindisk Pakhus (English: West India Warehouse), located on Toldbodgade on the waterfront between Amalienborg Palace and Langelinie, is a former 18th-century warehouse in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was designed by Caspar Frederik Harsdorff and built from 1780 to 1781 for the Danish West India Company, a chartered company responsible for trade on the Danish West Indies. Today it houses the Royal Cast Collection, part of the Danish National Gallery, and a display of costumes from the Royal Danish Theatre.

Churchillparken (English: Churchill Park) is a public park in Copenhagen, Denmark, occupying a tract of land between Kastellet, a 17th-century fortress, and the street Esplanaden. Located on the former esplanade which used to surround Kastellet, the area has a long history as a greenspace but received its current name in 1965 to commemorate Winston Churchill and the British assistance in the liberation of Denmark during World War II. St. Alban's Church, the Anglican church in Copenhagen, and the Museum of Danish Resistance are located within the boundaries of the park. Access to Kastellet through its main entrance, The King's Gate, is also reached through the park.

Amaliegade 45 is a Neoclassical property situated at the northern end of Amaliegade in the Frederiksstaden district of central Copenhagen, Denmark. It is part of a row of adjoining buildings constructed at the site by master builder Andreas Hallander in the 1780s but owes its current appearance to an adaptation most likely undertaken by Jørgen Henrich Rawert in 1801. The building was owned by the painter Martin Rørbye's parents from 1817. His first significant painting, View from the Artist's Window, from c. 1825, shows the view from the family's apartment on the second floor. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.
