James Logan Elementary School is a historic elementary school building in the Logan neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is part of the School District of Philadelphia. The building was designed by Irwin T. Catharine and built in 1923–1924. It is a three-story, nine-bay, "U"-shaped brick building with a raised basement in the Colonial Revival-style. It features a central entrance pavilion, round arched surrounds, and a brick parapet.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 as the Logan Demonstration School.

Gen. David B. Birney School is a historic school building located in the Logan neighborhood of Philadelphia. Originally built for the School District of Philadelphia, it was designed by Henry deCourcy Richards and built in 1912-1913. The building is now home to The Lindley Academy Charter School At Birney, a charter school within the School District of Philadelphia. The building is a three-story, five bay, reinforced concrete building in the Tudor Revival-style. It is faced in brick and features a limestone center entrance with entablature and decorative panels.The school was named for Civil War General David B. Birney (1825-1864), son of the noted abolitionist James G. Birney. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Stenton, also known as the James Logan Home, was the country home of James Logan, colonial Mayor of Philadelphia and Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. The home is located at 4601 North 18th Street in the Logan neighborhood of North Philadelphia.

Newtown Junction is a rail junction in Pennsylvania, where the Newtown Branch joins the SEPTA Main Line. The Warminster Line, West Trenton Line, and Lansdale/Doylestown Line all continue north toward Fern Rock along the old Reading trunk while the Fox Chase Line heads east toward Olney. North of Fox Chase, the line crossed over the West Trenton Line between the Meadowbrook and Bethayres stations and had its terminus in Newtown, hence the name Newtown Junction. Until 1983, SEPTA ran diesel train service past Fox Chase to Newtown after taking over line operations from Conrail. However, the branch, single-tracked north of Fox Chase, was never electrified, and service was "temporarily" suspended in January 1983.

The Olney Transportation Center is located in Logan.

Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia is the largest independent teaching hospital in the Philadelphia region with over 30 accredited programs training over 3,500 students each year with 400 residents.

Special Troops Armory, also known as Philadelphia Armory, is a historic National Guard armory located in the Ogontz neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It was built in 1938, and is an "I"-plan, brick building in the Moderne style. It consists of a two-story front section, two-story drill hall, and one-story rear section. The front section is seven bays wide, with the center five bays slightly projecting. During World War II it was used to house German prisoners of war. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.As of 2014, it has been purchased by La Salle University
