Şişli - Mecidiyeköy Metro Station (M2) is an underground metro station on the M2 line of the Istanbul metro and put into service on September 16, 2000. The station is on Büyükdere Caddesi in Şişli's 19 Mayıs District. The station has 6 entrances, namely Şişli, Fulya, Mecidiyeköy, Trump Towers AVM, Ortaklar Caddesi and Cevahir AVM. Mecidiyeköy Metro Station (M7) is an underground metro station on the M7 line of the Istanbul metro and opened on October 28, 2020. The station is located on Büyükdere Street in Şişli's Merkez and Fulya neighborhoods. The station is located on the lower level of the M2 platform. M7 Metro Station is in the west corridor; Entrance number 1 is Mecidiyeköy Square, entrance number 2 is Metrobus / Bus Stops, entrance number 3 is Büyükdere Caddesi and entrance number 4 is Ortaklar Caddesi / M2 mecidiyeköy Metro Connection, entrance no 5 is Garage Street, entrance 6 is fire station. Mecidiyeköy Metrobus Station is the metrobus stop serving the Metrobuses operated by IETT in Istanbul. The station is located in the Mecidiyeköy district of Şişli, on the D-100 Highway. The station entered service on September 8, 2008. In Mecidiyeköy, 3 lines are connected to each other with an underpass.

Şişli Greek Orthodox Cemetery (Turkish: Şişli Rum Ortodoks Mezarlığı), also known as Şişli Eastern Orthodox Cemetery, is a Christian cemetery in Istanbul, Turkey. The burial ground is the final resting place of people professing the Orthodox faith in Istanbul. The cemetery is located in Şişli district of Istanbul just across the Cevahir Mall.

Şişli Plaza is a tower in Istanbul, Turkey and has 40 residential floors, but rises above a 4-floor retail facility and has a 2-floor radio station on top; making an overall total of 46 floors above ground. - The floor-to-floor heights of the residential flats are 3.50 metres, while those of the retail facility are 4.00 metres. The radio station floors on top are higher than the standard residential floors. - The Şişli Plaza project, which is built on 15,484 m2 (166,670 sq ft) land and has an interior area of 103,403 m2 (1,113,020 sq ft) consists of three residential blocks. Blocks A and C have 9 floors, while block B (the residential tower) has 46 floors.

Mecidiyeköy is a station on the Istanbul Metrobus Bus rapid transit line. It is located on the Istanbul Inner Beltway just west of Mecidiyeköy Square. The station is serviced by five of the seven metrobus routes A connection to the M2 of the Istanbul Metro is available as well as several city bus lines. The station was opened on 8 September 2008 as part of the ten station eastward expansion of the line.

The complex also holds a shopping mall with some 80 shops and a multiplex cinema. They are the first Trump Towers built on the European continent. The property developer is Turkish billionaire Aydın Doğan, in a license-partnership with American businessman Donald Trump. His daughter Ivanka Trump attended the April 2012 launch with Erdoğan. Many businesses based in Europe and the Middle East occupy the complex. The original licensee holder was Miami developer Adi Chabli. Chabli originally brought Trump to Turkey and held the license prior to negotiating and subsequently transferring the rights to Istanbul to Dogan Group.The residential tower includes the only collective wine cellar in Turkey, the cellar being built by Focus Wine Cellars.Among the buildings' prominent tenants is Iranian-born businessman Reza Zarrab.

The Şişli Mosque (Turkish: Şişli Camii) is a mosque located in Şişli Square between the Büyükdere Avenue, the Halaskargazi and Abide-i Hürriyet streets in the Şişli district of Istanbul, Turkey.Due to lack of any mosque in Şişli, which got incorporated into the urban area with the rapid expansion of the city in the 1940s, the residents demanded the building of a mosque. With the initiative of Mayor Lütfi Kırdar, a land of 3,219 m2 (34,650 sq ft) was left over to a symbolic price to the trustees of the mosque.Designed in classical Ottoman architectural style by architect Ali Vasfi Egeli, its construction began in 1945, and it was opened to worship in 1949. It is the first mosque in Turkey ever built after 1923, in the Republican era.The mosque, built of gritstone (coarse-grained sandstone) ashlar, is situated in a walled courtyard having three gates. The building has a porticoed entrance porch, is topped with a main dome flanked by three half-domes, and has a minaret featuring one gallery with muqarnas.Over the hobnailed main entrance door, a calligraphic inscription in Arabic script is fixed, which was created by Hamid Aytaç (1891-1982). In the center of the courtyard, a dodecagon-shaped sadirvan spends water for ritual washing wudu. The courtyard houses also spaces for the imam, muezzin, other mosque officials, and a library.The entrance to the mosque is reached by stairs. Inside, a marble fountain is situated in the center. Pews are located on both sides of the entrance. The ground is covered by a rose-colored carpet, and heated underground. The ceiling is decorated. There are calligraphic scripts on the inner walls. The windows over the marble-made mihrab are of stained glass.

Etfal Hospital Clock Tower, or Children's Hospital Clock Tower (Turkish: Etfal Hastanesi Saat Kulesi), is a clock tower situated in the garden of the Hamidiye Etfal Hospital (now Şişli Etfal Hospital) in the Şişli district of İstanbul, Turkey at the European side of Bosphorus. It was ordered by the Ottoman sultan Abdülhamid II (reigned 1876–1909) and constructed by the architect Mehmet Şükrü Bey. The 20 m (66 ft) tall structure is made of marble and fine Hereke stone. On the front face, the tughra of Sultan Abdülhamid II is put on.

Şişli (pronounced [ˈʃiʃli]) is one of the 39 districts of Istanbul, Turkey. Located on the European side of the city, it is bordered by Beşiktaş to the east, Sarıyer to the north, Eyüp and Kağıthane to the west, and Beyoğlu to the south. In 2009, Şişli had a population of 316,058.

Ali Sami Yen Stadium (Turkish: Ali Sami Yen Stadyumu) was the home of the football club Galatasaray S.K. in Istanbul, Turkey, from 1964 to 2010. It is named after the founder of the club, Ali Sami Yen. The stadium had a capacity of 23,477 (all-seater) and was situated in the Mecidiyeköy quarter of the Şişli district, at the center of the European side of the city.

AKUT Search and Rescue Association (Turkish: AKUT Arama Kurtarma Derneği) is a Turkish non-governmental organization for disaster search and rescue relief. It was established in 1995 as a grassroots organization by seven leading outdoor athletes of Turkey and officially founded as an association in 1996. The organization delivers emergency and disaster relief to people trapped in caves, lost on mountains or to victims of earthquake or flood disasters at home and abroad. The initial purpose of the association's establishment was to provide search and rescue relief for climbers in emergency as no local organization of this type existed so far.

Mecidiyeköy is a neighbourhood located in the Şişli district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is also one of the prominent business quarters of Istanbul. It is situated between Fulya, Kuştepe, Gültepe, Esentepe, and Gülbahar neighbourhoods. According to the 2008 demographic data, the population of the neighbourhood is 20,331. The neighbourhood of Mecidiyeköy took its name from the Ottoman sultan Abdülmecid I, since the neighbourhood started to be settled during his reign.
