Dervock railway station

Aghancrossy is a townland in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, near Dervock. It is situated in the historic barony of Dunluce Lower and the civil parish of Derrykeighan and covers an area of 55 acres The name derives from the Irish: Achadh na Croise (field of the cross). Dervock (from Irish Dearbhóg or Dairbheog) is a small village and townland (of 132 acres) in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is about 3.5 miles (6 km) northeast of Ballymoney, on the banks of the River Bush. It is situated in the civil parish of Derrykeighan and the historic barony of Dunluce Lower. It had a population of 714 people (302 households) in the 2011 Census.

Stranocum (from Irish Sraith Nócam) is a small village and townland in north County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The villages of Dervock and Armoy are nearby and the town of Ballymoney is about 5 miles (8 km) away. It had a population of 297 people (110 households) in the 2011 Census. (2001 Census: 285 people) The village is west of the River Bush and is mostly on the gentle hill down to the river. Although mainly a commuter village it does have some services. These include a supermarket and petrol station, a vehicle service garage, animal feeds mill, trout farm, Bushvalley Primary School and a park.

Leitrim (Irish: Liatroim, meaning 'Grey ridge') is a townland in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is situated in the civil parish of Ballymoney and the historic Barony of Dunluce Upper. Leitrim is a rural townland containing three farms and 8 residences. Parts of the Topp Road and Leitrim Road pass through the townland and these are connected (completely within the townland) by Leitrim Lane. All the farms are located off Leitrim Lane. The farmland is mainly used for cattle (both dairy and beef) and a small amount of arable (mainly potatoes and barley). In summer a number of poly-tunnels produce a crop of strawberries. The townland also contains a few small areas of woodland. The townland is marked by signs at both ends of Leitrim Lane entitled 'The Leitrim'. A number of older, previously residential buildings are now used as agricultural buildings. There is another townland of the same name in the civil parish of Drummaul in the historic barony of Toome Upper.

Stranocum railway station was on the Ballycastle Railway which ran from Ballymoney to Ballycastle in Northern Ireland.

Jason, Mark and Richard Quinn were three brothers killed by the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) in a firebomb attack on their home in Ballymoney, County Antrim, Northern Ireland on 12 July 1998. The crime was committed towards the end of the three-decade period known as "The Troubles". One man, Garfield Gilmour, was found guilty of murdering the three brothers 15 months later and sentenced to life imprisonment after admitting that he had driven three other men to the house to commit the fatal petrol-bombing. Although Gilmour named the three alleged killers, they were never charged due to a lack of concrete evidence.

The Robinson Hospital is a health facility in Newal Road, Ballymoney, Northern Ireland. It is managed by the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.

Ballymoney High School is a secondary school located in Ballymoney, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. As of 2012, it had an enrollment of over 660 pupils and an average annual intake of approximately 130 new pupils each year. In 2016, a new expansion of the school was built, and in 2017 it was officially named the 'Holmes wing'. It was named after Mollie Holmes OBE, a retired mayor of Ballymoney who died at age 101. Past pupils of the school include Stephen Carson (an association football player with Glasgow Rangers) and Mervyn Storey (DUP politician).

Ballymoney was a local government district with borough status in Northern Ireland. It was headquartered in Ballymoney. Other towns in the borough included Dervock, Dunloy, Cloughmills and Rasharkin. The borough had a population of 31,224 according to the 2011 census. In May 2015 it was merged with the boroughs of Coleraine and Limavady and the District of Moyle to form the Causeway Coast and Glens district.

The civil parish of Ballymoney is situated in the historic baronies of Dunluce Upper and Kilconway in County Antrim, as well as the barony of North East Liberties of Coleraine in County Londonderry. It had a population of 11,048 people at the 2021 census. Ballymoney is located on the main road between Coleraine and Ballymena, with good road and rail connections to the main cities in Northern Ireland, Belfast and Derry. The Ballymoney area has the highest life expectancy of any area in Northern Ireland, with the average male life expectancy at birth being 79.9 years and 83.8 years for females in years between 2010 and 2012. Conversely, it was revealed in 2013 that Ballymoney residents are more likely to die from heart disease than anywhere else in Northern Ireland. The town hosts the Ballymoney Drama Festival, the oldest drama festival in Ireland, which was founded in 1933. The town also hosts the Ballymoney Show, which is one of the oldest agricultural shows in Northern Ireland and was founded in 1902.

The Riada Stadium is a purpose-built sports facility in Ballymoney, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The football teams Glebe Rangers and Ballymoney United share the stadium.

Ballymoney Town Hall is a municipal structure in the High Street, Ballymoney, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The structure, which incorporates a local history museum, is a Grade B1 listed building.
