The Church of los Remedios (Spanish: Iglesia de los Remedios) is an old church located in Guadalajara, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1924. Now, it's the auditorium of the University of Alcalá in Guadalajara.

The Academy of Military Engineering of Guadalajara (Spanish: Academia de Ingenieros de Guadalajara) was a military academy in Guadalajara, Spain. It operated in Guadalajara from 1833 until its move to Segovia in 1932 as part of its merger with the Artillery Academy (Academia de Artilleros). The Academy was located in the Montesclaros Palace, in the west of the city, until a 1924 fire destroyed part of the premises and an important collection of models, documents, books, and artworks. Between 1924 and its final move, its activities were continued in the palace's annex buildings that today serve as the General Military Archive of Guadalajara (Archivo General Militar de Guadalajara) and the palace of Antonio de Mendoza. Many important figures attended or taught at the Academy, including Mariano Barberán, Eduardo Barrón, Alejandro Goicoechea, Emilio Herrera Linares, Alfredo Kindelán, José Ortiz Echagüe, Carlos Faraudo and Pedro Vives Vich.

Guadalajara railway station (Spanish: Estación de Guadalajara) is a Spanish railway station owned by ADIF that serves the Spanish city of Guadalajara. There is another station outside the urban limits 5 km away from the city on the Madrid–Barcelona high-speed rail line called Guadalajara–Yebes railway station.The Madrid–Guadalajara stretch was opened on 3 May 1859. Conversely, the Guadalajara–Jadraque stretch was opened on 5 October 1860.

The Tower of Álvar Fáñez (Spanish: Torreón de Álvar Fáñez) is a tower located in Guadalajara, Spain. The medieval structure, formerly part of the city's defences, is named after Álvar Fáñez, "Conqueror of Guadalajara for Christianity". It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1921.

The Palace of El Infantado (Spanish: Palacio del Infantado) is a palace located in Guadalajara, Spain. An example of the Isabelline architectural style, it dates from the 15th century and was the seat of the Dukes of the Infantado.

Opened in 1838, it is the oldest provincial museum in the country. It features sections of Fine Arts, Archaeology and Ethnography. It is hosted at the Palacio del Infantado since 1973.

Guadalajara (, Spanish: [ɡwaðalaˈxaɾa] ) is a city and municipality in Spain, located in the autonomous community of Castilla–La Mancha. It is the capital of the Province of Guadalajara. Lying on the central part of the Iberian Peninsula at roughly 685 meters (2,247 ft) metres above sea level, the city straddles the Henares River. As of 2018 it has a population of 86,222 which makes it the region's second most populated municipality.

The Battle of Guadalajara (March 8–23, 1937) saw the victory of the Spanish Republican Army (Ejército Popular Republicano, or EPR) and of the International Brigades over the Italian and Nationalist forces attempting to encircle Madrid during the Spanish Civil War. The Nationalist forces involved in the Battle of Guadalajara were primarily the Italian Corps of Volunteer Troops (Corpo Truppe Volontarie, or CTV). The battle opened with an Italian offensive on 8 March. This offensive was halted by 11 March. Between 12 March and 14 March, renewed Italian attacks were supported by Spanish Nationalist units. These were halted too. On 15 March, a Republican counter-offensive was prepared. The Republicans successfully launched their counter-offensive from 18 March to 23 March.

The Church of San Nicolás (Spanish: Iglesia de San Nicolás) is a church located in Guadalajara, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1981.
