La Moraleja is a station on Line 10 of the Madrid Metro. It is located in fare Zone B1.

The FIBA Hall of Fame, or FIBA Basketball Hall of Fame, honors players, coaches, teams, referees, and administrators who have greatly contributed to international competitive basketball. It was established by FIBA, in 1991. It includes the "Samaranch Library", the largest basketball library in the world, that as of 2007, had over 10,000 basketball books, and 950 magazines, from over 65 countries. The FIBA Hall of Fame building is a basketball museum built in Alcobendas, Community of Madrid, Spain, by the Pedro Ferrándiz Foundation. Initially, induction ceremonies occurred every two years, with the first one taking place in 2007. The pattern was interrupted in 2010, when a class was inducted on the day of the 2010 FIBA World Championship's Final in Istanbul. After that, no induction took place until 2013, with a class announced in May of that year, with induction taking place on 19 June. The next induction class was in 2015, and after that, more classes were inducted in 2016, 2017, and 2019.

Virtus, The British Sixth Form College is an international school located in Madrid, Spain. The institution focuses on A-Level education for students aged 15 to 18 and prepares them for university entry.

The Luis Vallejo Bonsai Museum (Spanish: Museo Bonsái Luis Vallejo) is a public access museum located in Alcobendas, Madrid, Spain, dedicated to the display and study of the art of bonsai. The museum was opened in 1995 and is one of the most important in Europe in its class. The museum presents the personal collection of Luis Vallejo as well as specimens donated by others. The collection is widely considered one of the best outside Japan, with multiple trees having received important awards in Spanish and international competitions.The museum has a collection of over 300 specimens, with both native and imported species. Most of the trees in the collection have been designed and developed as bonsai by Luis Vallejo and Japanese bonsai masters, such as Hiroshi Takeyama, Saburo Kato, Shinji Suzuki and Masahiko Kimura.

Runnymede College is a co-educational private school located in La Moraleja, Madrid, Spain. It was founded in 1967 by Arthur Powell CBE as the first British school in Spain. It is a private non-denominational school offering a British education to boys and girls of all nationalities from the age of two to eighteen. The education offered follows the English National Curriculum, with pupils taking IGCSEs at the end of Year 11 and their A-levels at the end of Year 13. Runnymede has been referred to as probably the most academically achieving British school overseas, scoring higher than many of the prominent English Public Schools.As of 2010 there were 750 students, with about 50% being from Spanish families and 20% being from British families; there were 37 nationalities in the student body. Warwick Mansell of The Telegraph wrote that Runnymede was "medium-sized" in terms of its student body.

International College Spain is an international school in La Moraleja, Alcobendas, Community of Madrid, Spain. It is the only school in the Madrid metropolitan area to offer the full International Baccalaureate Programme in English. International College Spain is a day school, offering both primary and secondary education to children from 3 to 18 years of age within an international community of over 70 different nationalities.

The 1992 World Cup took place 5–8 November 1992 at the Real Club La Moraleja in Madrid, Spain. It was the 38th World Cup event. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event. Each team consisted of two players from a country. The combined score of each team determined the team results. The United States team of Fred Couples and Davis Love won by one stroke over the defending champions, Swedish team of Anders Forsbrand and Per-Ulrik Johansson. The individual competition was won by Brett Ogle of Australia after a playoff with Ian Woosnam of Wales.

La Moraleja is an affluent residential district of Alcobendas municipality in northern Community of Madrid, Spain, in the Madrid metropolitan area; located next to El Soto and El Encinar de los Reyes. The Spanish version of Greenwich, it is home to some of Spain's wealthiest people with sprawling mansions and several luxury golf courses such as La Moraleja Golf Club Madrid.One author describes it as a "moneyed enclave of the rich and famous, including politicians, actors, top businessmen" with property prices which "range from the merely extortionate to the outright laughable." People such as Rocío Jurado, Isabel Pantoja, José Antonio Camacho, Lola Flores, Ava Gardner, David Beckham, Bing Crosby, Karim Benzema, Ronaldo, Ana Obregón, Belinda Peregrín Schüll, and Gonzalo Higuaín live or have lived in La Moraleja. Aside from its golf courses, La Moraleja also contains some of Spain's elite private schools and sports clubs.

Unión Deportiva San Sebastián de los Reyes, also known as Sanse is a Spanish football team based in San Sebastián de los Reyes, in the autonomous community of Madrid. Founded in 1971 it plays in Primera División RFEF – Group 1, holding home matches at Estadio Nuevo Matapiñonera, with a capacity of 3,000 seats.
