Milltown Bridge

The Ahlul Bayt Islamic Centre is the main Shia Islamic centre in Ireland and is situated at Milltown Bridge, Dublin. It is commonly known as ‘Hussainia’ and was previously the only Shia Muslim Islamic centre and mosque in the whole of Ireland. It aims to serve the social, cultural and spiritual needs of the entire Shia Muslim population of Ireland and it draws Shia members from throughout the country, particularly at festival times and during Muharram. At present there are about 6,000 Shias working, studying and living in Ireland.

Milltown (Irish: Baile an Mhuilinn) is a suburb on the southside of Dublin, Ireland. Milltown was the site of several working mills on the River Dodder and is also the location of the meeting of the River Slang with the Dodder. It is located adjacent to other suburban areas such as Windy Arbour, Ranelagh, Dartry, Clonskeagh, and Donnybrook.

Glenmalure Park, often simply known as Milltown, was a football stadium on the Southside of Dublin city in Ireland. Located in the suburb of Milltown, it was home to Shamrock Rovers from 1926 to 1987, when it was sold to property developers by the club's directors. It is now a housing estate called Glenmalure Square.

Milltown (Irish: Baile an Mhuilinn) is a stop on the Luas light rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland which serves Milltown, Dublin and southern parts of Dartry, including Trinity Hall. It opened in 2004 as a stop on the Green Line, which re-uses the alignment of the Harcourt Street railway line which closed in 1958. Milltown Luas stop is located a few yards north of the site of the former rail station of the same name.

The Nine Arches Bridge is the informal name of a viaduct over the River Dodder in Milltown, Dublin, Ireland. The Luas tram Green Line crosses the bridge. There is no access for pedestrians.

Gonzaga College is a voluntary Catholic boys' secondary school in Ranelagh, Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 1950, Gonzaga College is under the trusteeship of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuit Order), one of five Jesuit secondary schools in Ireland. The curriculum is traditional, with a broad general programme of subjects including Latin and Greek at junior cycle and the opportunity in senior cycle to study eight subjects for the Leaving Certificate. The school is named after the early Jesuit Saint Aloysius Gonzaga and takes its emblem from the coat of arms of the Gonzaga family. The school has a liberal, intellectual, and Jesuit ethos.The annual fee for the 2019–2020 academic year is €6,605.

Clonskeagh or Clonskea (Irish: Cluain Sceach, meaning "meadow of the Whitethorn"; pronounced [klɔnskiː]), is a small southern suburb of Dublin, Ireland. The district straddles the River Dodder.

Classon's Bridge is a bridge over the River Dodder in Dublin, Ireland between Milltown and Dartry. The bridge is part of the Lower Churchtown Road (L3001) and has an underpass for pedestrians walking along the banks of the Dodder.

The Milltown Institute of Theology and Philosophy was a Jesuit-run institution of higher education and research, located in Dublin, Ireland. It was located in Ranelagh, County Dublin. From November 1989, when it was granted designated status under the National Council for Educational Awards, it developed and offered civil programmes leading to Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral awards. From 2005 until 2015, it was a "Recognised College" of the National University of Ireland. Under the 1997 Universities Act, the Irish government removed the ban on the NUI awarding degrees in Theology which had stood since its foundation and its predecessor the Royal University of Ireland. The Milltown Institute was also an Ecclesiastical Faculty with official designation by the Congregation for Catholic Education in Rome. By 2011, the future of the Milltown Institute had become uncertain and it was finally decided to close the Institute permanently.

Cowper is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2004 as a stop on the Green Line from St Stephen's Green station to Sandyford. It serves parts of Ranelagh and Rathmines. The Green Line runs on mostly segregated track, making use of a disused railway alignment. The Cowper stop is located between the backs of residential properties. The stop has the signs, displays, shelters, and ticket machines common to all Luas stops. It has two entrances: one from Merton Road and one from Tudor Road. Both entrances consist of simple tree-lined pathways and lead to the southern end of the platforms. The Merton Road entrance is signposted with a solar-powered totem. It takes its name from the nearby Cowper Road, which is named for William Cowper-Temple, 1st Baron Mount Temple (1811–1888), who formerly owned land in the area. He pronounced his name "cooper", but the station is pronounced "cow-per."

Windy Arbour (Irish: Na Glasáin) is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, south of Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2004 as a stop on the Green Line from St Stephen's Green station to Sandyford. It serves the suburbs of Windy Arbour, Churchtown, and Clonskeagh.
