Bethpage High School

Bethpage (formerly known as Central Park) is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York, United States. The population was 16,658 at the 2020 United States Census.

Bethpage is a station along the Main Line of the Long Island Rail Road. It is located at Stewart Avenue and Jackson Avenue, in Bethpage, New York, and serves Ronkonkoma Branch trains. Trains that travel along the Central Branch also use these tracks, but none stop here.

Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant, Bethpage (NWIRP) -- also known as 'Northrop Grumman Site Facility' -- was a United States government-owned, contractor-operated (GOCO) facility established in 1941, with the mission to design, fabricate, and test prototype aircraft for the US Navy and the NASA in the town of Oyster Bay in Bethpage, New York. Two groundwater plumes of toxic chemicals, mostly volatile organic compounds migrating from the property were discovered in 1986 and in 2009, affecting the water district well fields. The site is subject to state Superfund cleanup plans. Special water treatment plants were established in the early 2000s.

Bethpage State Park is a 1,477-acre (5.98 km2) New York state park on the border of Nassau County and Suffolk County on Long Island. The park contains tennis courts, picnic and recreational areas and a polo field, but is best known for its five golf courses, including the Bethpage Black Course, which hosted the 2002 and 2009 U.S. Open Golf Championships and the 2019 PGA Championship.

Grumman was a station along the Main Line of the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) at South Oyster Bay Road that served employees of Grumman Engineering Aircraft Corporation, at the Grumman Bethpage Airport.

Grumman Studios is a sound stage complex in Bethpage, New York, United States, that offers 160,000 square feet with seven sound stages and 30 acres of paved outdoor space.Principal owner in the project is Parviz Farahzad whose production company is Lunar Module Park, LLC. The studios are in the former Apollo Lunar Module assembly plant at the massive Grumman aircraft works in Bethpage. Farahzad founded the company in 2007. The original blue Grumman landmark dome atop the facility has been repainted red for the new studio. Grumman Studios is one of two large sound stage complexes in Bethpage related to the original Grumman operation. The other is Gold Coast Studios which has six sound stages totaling 105,000 square feet in Steel Equities Bethpage Business Park.The studio is at 500 Grumman Road West in Bethpage.

Bethpage Energy Center is a power station in Bethpage, New York, United States, consisting of two combined cycle plants opened in 1989 and 2005, and one gas turbine peaking plant opened in 2002. The original plant was commissioned by Grumman Aerospace for its Bethpage complex because it was deemed more cost-effective than purchasing power from electric utilities. It was acquired by Calpine in 1998, which expanded the facility with two more plants.

Plainview Hospital is an acute care community hospital with 219 beds located on 888 Old Country Road in Plainview, New York. This Level II trauma center is one of the 22 member hospitals that make up Northwell Health. Prior to merging with Northwell Health, Plainview Hospital was known as Central General Hospital. Today, the hospital is led by Executive Director Michael Fener.

The Town of Oyster Bay is the easternmost of the three towns that make up Nassau County, New York, United States. Oyster Bay is also the name of a hamlet on the North Shore, within the town of Oyster Bay. Near this hamlet, in the village of Cove Neck, is Sagamore Hill, the former residence and summer White House of U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt and now a museum. At least six of the 36 villages and hamlets of the town have shores on Oyster Bay Harbor, an inlet of Long Island Sound, and many of these at one time or another have also been referred to as being part of the hamlet of Oyster Bay.

Island Trees Union Free School District is a school district in central Nassau County on Long Island, approximately 31 miles east of New York City. The district includes parts of the following hamlets; Levittown, Bethpage, Plainedge, and Seaford. The Island Trees School District gained notoriety in the United States Supreme Court case Island Trees School District v. Pico regarding censorship of books in school libraries.

Plainview is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located near the North Shore of Long Island in the town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, New York, United States. The population of the CDP as of 2020 was 27,100. The Plainview post office has the ZIP code 11803.Plainview and its neighboring hamlet, Old Bethpage, share a school system, library, fire department, and water district. Law enforcement for the communities is provided by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct.

PTWF tasks the faithful of all beliefs to recognize that the true danger to international peace is the extremist ideologies that exist within every faith.
