Pomona Hall is a colonial mansion located at 1900 Park Boulevard and Euclid Avenue, in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, United States, that operates as a museum by the Camden County Historical Society. The first building on the site was constructed in 1718, while construction of the more substantial mansion house was started in 1726, with later additions made in 1788. It is not known when the house was first called Pomona Hall; but it is marked on Hill's Map of Philadelphia and Environs, published in 1809.

Camden Big Picture Learning Academy (formerly MetEast High School) is a four-year public high school in the City of Camden, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as part of the Camden City Public Schools. The school opened in 2005 in conjunction with Big Picture Learning as an effort to prepare students for success in college through greater community involvement and mentoring.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 122 students and 15.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 7.9:1. There were 77 students (63.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 3 (2.5% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

A statue of Christopher Columbus stood in Camden, New Jersey, United States. The memorial was removed in June 2020. Levi Coombs III, pastor of the nearby First Refuge Progressive Baptist Church, stated that residents had called for the removal of the statue for 40 years but been ignored until the aftermath of the George Floyd protests. Camden Mayor Frank Moran stated, "There were a lot of atrocities toward the human beings that were on the island of Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands by this individual, and I believe [the statue] is and was offensive to all people of color, whether black or brown."

Camden High School is a four-year comprehensive community public high school that serves students between ninth grade and twelfth grade from the city of Camden, in Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school is part of the Camden City School District, which is classified as an Abbott District. The school, established in 1891, celebrated its centennial in 1991. The school was originally known as the Camden Manual Training and High School, admitting its first class of 48 boys in 1891, with girls entering the school three years later. The school had been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools from 1929 until 2011, when the accredited status was removed.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 385 students and 35.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.8:1. There were 248 students (64.4% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 4 (1.0% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital is a teaching hospital in Camden, New Jersey which opened on July 1, 1950.

Gateway Park is a 25-acre (10 ha) riverfront park in Camden and Pennsauken Township, New Jersey that runs along a half mile section of the Cooper River. It consists of a one-mile paved multi use trail for walking and casual biking. Future plans call for creation of a boat launch for paddled vessels such as canoes and kayaks. The trail is connected with the regional Circuit Trails initiative, a network of trails across multiple parks in the Greater Philadelphia region that connect southern New Jersey to Pennsylvania. The park is a member of Alliance for Watershed Education of the Delaware River which actively promotes the understanding and value of the Delaware River watershed.This is an urban park that is part of the revitalization of the Camden waterfront. The tract was previously filled with derelict buildings and seedy establishments. Gateway Park is one of a number of parks in the Camden area that are contributing to the revitalization of the Camden waterfront which also includes the recently opened Cramer Hill Preserve, Petty's Island nature preserve and Coopers Poynt Waterfront park among others.Gateway Park is owned by Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority (CCMUA) and is managed by New Jersey Conservation Foundation.

Newton Colony was the third English settlement in West Jersey. Newton Colony was founded in 1682 by a group of Quakers, who had emigrated from Ireland, on the banks of Newton Creek, a tributary of the Delaware River, in present-day Camden County, New Jersey. The founders of Newton Colony were William Bates, George Goldsmith, Mark Newbie, Thomas Sharp, Thomas Thackara and Robert Zane. The original Newton Colony occupied most of the present day municipalities of Oaklyn and Collingswood, New Jersey. The original colony grew to occupy a portion of the present day municipalities of Camden, Haddon Township, Pennsauken Township, and Haddonfield.

Brimm Medical Arts High School (Brimm Medical Arts) is a four-year magnet public high school with a "break the mold" vision focused directly on medicine, dentistry, nursing, allied health professions and other ancillary health care areas. This school serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Camden in Camden County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Camden City Public Schools. The school opened in 1994 with a freshman class of 60 students.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 205 students and 25.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.0:1. There were 129 students (62.9% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and none eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Harleigh Cemetery is a historic rural cemetery located in both Collingswood and Camden, New Jersey. Harleigh Cemetery and Crematorium is one of the oldest cemeteries in New Jersey. Named Camden County Veterans Cemetery in 2007, the current president is Louis Cicalese. Harleigh cemetery is over 130 acres (0.53 km2) of lush mature grounds situated on the Cooper River a short drive from Philadelphia. The cemetery has been listed on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places since 1995 (as ID #2829).
