Snakes & Lattes is a board game cafe chain headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with three Toronto venues located at 600 Bloor Street West, 489 College Street, and 45 Eglinton Avenue East. The first American Snakes & Lattes opened in 2018 in Tempe, AZ. Other locations are being developed and should be opening starting in 2019.Guests pay a small cover charge to play board games for as long as they like, choosing from the cafe's collection of 1,000 - 3,000 games, depending on location. There was no wi-fi available at the original cafe when it first opened as the focus is on playing games and socialising with friends, however, public wi-fi was installed in all locations to accommodate those who wished to use their computers and specifically the morning business and student crowd. The cafes serve food and beverage items, including numerous local draft beers.

The Beguiling is a comic shop in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It specializes in underground and alternative comics, classic comic strip reprints, and foreign comics. It has built an international reputation for focusing on and promoting non-superhero comics in the superhero-dominated North American comic book market. The store has made effort to promote comics culture in Toronto by organizing the annual Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) in coöperation with the Toronto Public Library, which also hosts Page & Panel, a nonprofit shop to support TCAF. The Beguiling also runs a sister store, Little Island Comics, the first North American comic shop aimed exclusively at children.

Honest Ed's was a landmark discount store in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was named for its proprietor, Ed Mirvish, who opened the store in 1948 and oversaw its operations for almost 60 years until his death in 2007. The store continued to operate until it permanently closed on December 31, 2016.

The Randolph Theatre (formerly the Bathurst Street Theatre) is a 500 seat theatre in Toronto, Ontario, that is housed in a former church. The Gothic revival building is located at 736 Bathurst Street at the intersection with Lennox Street. The theatre is in the former church sanctuary, while the 100-seat Annex Theatre is in an adjoining building at 730 Bathurst Street. Oscar Peterson, Jim Carrey, Gordon Pinsent, Ted Dykstra, Eddie Izzard, Martin Bragg and the Toronto Theatre Fringe Festival are just some of the individuals and companies who have graced the stages and studios of 736 Bathurst Street. The Gothic revival building is a landmark, not only in the history of Toronto but also the heritage of theatre in Canada. Beautiful and functional, the building was profiled in 2009 by the Ontario Heritage Trust as a prime example of adaptive reuse of places of worship. In addition, since March 2001, the building has been home to the Randolph College for the Performing Arts, Canada's first Triple Threat(R) training institution for professional performers.

The Randolph College for the Performing Arts (formerly Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts) is a private career college specializing in singing, dancing and acting. It was founded on September 8, 1992, by George C. Randolph Jr. It is located in Toronto, Ontario, on the southwest corner of Lennox Street and Bathurst streets, just south of the former Honest Ed's. The building that was formerly the Bathurst Street Theatre (now the Randolph Theatre) houses the school.

Bathurst is a subway station on Line 2 Bloor–Danforth in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The station, which opened in 1966, is located on Bathurst Street just north of Bloor Street West. It is a major transfer point for both bus and streetcar routes, including the 511 Bathurst route, which provides services to Exhibition Place. Wi-Fi service is available at this station. The main entrance at Bathurst and Bloor, where the ticket collectors and turnstiles are located, is in the station building at the surface, which puts the station's streetcar and bus platforms within the fare paid zone. The opening of elevators in January 2000 made the station fully accessible. The elevators provide access between the eastbound platform and concourse, and between the westbound platform and street level via the concourse. There is regular stairway and escalator connections between all levels. There is also a secondary unstaffed entrance on Markham street just north of Bloor street, which leads directly to the subway platform. On August 4, 2020, the Photo ID Centre at Sherbourne station was permanently closed and relocated to Bathurst station on the concourse level.

The Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema (formerly the Bloor Cinema and the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema) is a movie theatre in The Annex district of downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, located at 506 Bloor Street West, near its intersection with Bathurst Street and the Bathurst subway station. The venue serves as the primary home of the annual Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, as well as screening a regular theatrical lineup of documentary films throughout the year and serving as a venue for other smaller film festivals and cultural events.

Harbord Collegiate Institute (HCI or Harbord) is a public secondary school located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The school is located in the Palmerston-Little Italy-Annex neighbourhood, situated on the north side of Harbord Street, between Euclid Avenue and Manning Street. From the 1920s to the 1950s, about 90 per cent of the student body was Jewish, while today the student body largely consists of students of East Asian and Portuguese descent.

Lee's Palace is a rock concert hall located on the south side of Bloor Street West east of Lippincott Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The two-floor facility in The Annex neighbourhood has a long history prior to being adapted in September 1985 for its current use as a concert venue and nightclub. While the Lee's Palace live performance venue that accommodates just over 500 guest is on the ground floor, the top floor is occupied by The Dance Cave, a nightclub that on weekends mostly caters to university and college students from the nearby downtown Toronto schools such as University of Toronto, Ryerson University, OCAD University, and George Brown College with alt-rock while attracting older patrons during the work week with a fare that includes goth rock, mod music, punk, and indie. Having been established and owned for 16 years by the Korean Canadian entrepreneur Chong Su Lee a.k.a. Mr. Lee, the venue has since 2001 been owned by Collective Concerts, a Toronto-based music promotions company (owned by Jeff Cohen with partners Ben Pearlman and Bruce Bennett) that also has the Horseshoe Tavern, another iconic Toronto music venue, among its list of assets. In 2006, they also bought the building that houses Lee's Palace.

The Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) is a contiguous urban region that is composed of some of the largest cities and metropolitan areas by population in the Canadian province of Ontario. The GTHA consists of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the city of Hamilton. Beginning in the late-2000s, the term "Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area" was introduced by a few public bodies to refer to the GTA and the city of Hamilton as a single entity. The population of the combined area is 7,281,694 as of 2021, and is projected to grow to 8.6 million by 2031. The main series of roadways that connects all the areas together (going from Durham to Hamilton) includes highways 401, 427, 403, and the Queen Elizabeth Way. The GTHA has regional public transport served by GO Transit and local service by multiple agencies, which all use Presto card as fare payment.

Seaton Village is a neighbourhood and former village located west of Downtown Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is named after John Colborne, 1st Baron Seaton, Lieutenant-Governor of Upper Canada from 1828 to 1836. Seaton Village is bordered by Bloor Street to the south, the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks to the north, Christie Street to the west, and Bathurst Street to the east. Officially, it is an enclave within The Annex neighbourhood, as defined by the City of Toronto. It is sometimes referred to as the West Annex. While Seaton Village shares several characteristics with the Annex (notably its architecture and its popularity with University of Toronto students), it is often perceived as a quieter, family-oriented neighbourhood with smaller, less expensive homes. The Koreatown shopping district is at its southern border.

Central Technical School (CTS or Central Tech) is a Canadian composite high school in Toronto, Ontario. The school is run by the Toronto District School Board (TDSB); before 1998, it was run by the Toronto Board of Education (TBE).Central Tech is located in the Harbord Village neighborhood of downtown Toronto. The campus address is 725 Bathurst Street. The school has three buildings. The main building is southernmost; it includes the school office and numerous classrooms. Central Tech offers a wide range of programs, including all the core academic courses, as well as concentrations and specializations in visual arts and technical studies. The school also offers enriched levels and special education, including a resource room for students with learning disabilities. As well, the school offers support to students in the transition from high school to university, college, apprenticeship or employment. Central Tech is also one of the TDSB's night-school locations. Two nights per week, the school offers various high-school courses, both to teenagers and to adults, at no charge.
