The Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company Building is a historic structure located in Downtown Washington, D.C. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The architectural firm who designed the building was the firms Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (New York), Melvin Mitchell Architects.

Washington Gas Building is a high-rise building located in the United States capital of Washington, D.C. It rises to 152 feet (46 m) with approximately 15 floors. The building's construction was completed in 1941. The architects of the building were Jarrett C. White and Leon Chatelain, Jr.

The Association of American Universities (AAU) is an organization of American research universities devoted to maintaining a strong system of academic research and education. The museum occupies an old Masonic Temple, a building listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Masonic Temple in Washington, District of Columbia is a building from 1903. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, and is also on the D.C. Inventory List of Historic Sites. The building currently houses the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

1101 New York Avenue is a high-rise building located in Washington, D.C., United States. Designed by architect Kevin Roche, its construction was completed in 2007. The glass clad structure rises to 50 metres (160 ft) and contains 12 floors totaling 380,000 square feet. The building was designed with notched corners to allow for more window offices. The building is tied for the 20th tallest building in Washington D.C. The building houses Google's public policy offices., as well as the headquarters of the National Retail Federation (NRF). The building also houses an Ernst & Young office. The previous Global Chairman and CEO of Ernst & Young, Mark Weinberger was located at this office.

The Old Greyhound Terminal was a bus terminal serving Greyhound Lines located at 1100 New York Avenue NW in Northwest, Washington, D.C. in the United States operating from 1940 to the 1980s. It was used extensively during World War II to transport servicemen, and played a minor role in the Civil Rights Movement. It was saved through the intervention of preservationists. Most of the building was incorporated in the new 1100 New York Avenue high-rise office building when it was built in 1991.

Grand Hyatt Washington is a hotel in Washington, D.C., in the United States. The 897-room hotel, located at 1000 H Street NW, serves both tourist and business travel. From the time the hotel opened until 2003, it was directly across from the Washington Convention Center and served as a "convention headquarters" hotel for many conventions. The convention center closed and was demolished in 2004. CityCenterDC, a major office, residential, and retail complex, now occupies the site.

William T. Golden Center for Science and Engineering is a high-rise building in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States. Completed in 1996, the building rises to 151 feet (46 m) and has 12 floors. The architects of the building were Davis, Carter, Scott Ltd. and Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, who designed the postmodern building. This building is the headquarters to the American Association for the Advancement of Science, a non-profit organization established in 1848 that aims to advance science around the world. Other tenants include the Association of American Universities and the IRIS Consortium. The building is named after William T. Golden.
