Florya Metin Oktay Facilities (Turkish: Florya Metin Oktay Tesisleri), is the training ground and academy base of the Turkish football club Galatasaray SK. The Florya training camp land was brought during the presidency of Suphi Batur, built and opened during Professor Ali Uras presidency and was expanded and improved during both Ali Tanriyar and Alp Yalman presidencies. It was opened on August 1, 1981. Located in Florya, Istanbul and named after the club's legendary goalscorer Metin Oktay, the sports complex covers an area of 110,224 m2 (1,186,440 sq ft). It is used for first team and youth team training and matches, as well as by many of the other sports teams at the club, including those for basketball and volleyball. Facility is fully operational.

Beyti is a restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey specialising in roasted meat. It was founded in 1945 in Küçükçekmece and since 1983 has been situated in Florya. The establishment is owned by the restaurateur Beyti Güler and run by him together with his sons Cüneyt and Ahmet. The main dining room, with a total capacity of 500 seats, offers traditional Turkish cuisine and various kebabs grilled over oak charcoal. Beyti kebab, a specialty named after the chef, is the most popular. Beyti is a member of the prestigious international gastronomic organization Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

Florya is a neighborhood (Turkish: mahalle) belonging to the Bakırköy district of the greater Istanbul, Turkey. It is located along Marmara Sea, and borders to the northeast the neighborhood of Yeşilköy, to the northwest that of Küçükçekmece. Its residents are relatively affluent. Florya has a station along the Marmaray Commuter Line. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder and the first president of Turkey, used to spend his free time in his Florya Atatürk Marine Mansion swimming and enjoying the beautiful sandy beach.

Yeşilköy Prof. Dr. Murat Dilmener Emergency Hospital (Turkish: Yeşilköy Prof. Dr. Murat Dilmener Acil Durum Hastanesi, commonly referred to as Yeşilköy Emergency Hospital), is a hospital in Yeşilköy neighborhood of Bakırköy district in Istanbul Province, Turkey for use in emergency situations like pandemics, epidemics or earthquakes. It was opened in end May 2020.

Şenlikköy is a neighbourhood (Turkish: mahalle) in the municipality and district of Bakırköy, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 29,078 (2022). It is located along Marmara Sea, and borders to the northeast the neighborhood of Yeşilköy, to the northwest the district of Küçükçekmece.

Dekaton (Ancient Greek: Δέκατον, Latin: Decatum) was a town of ancient Thrace. Its site is located north of Yeşilköy in European Turkey.

Florya railway station (Turkish: Florya istasyonu) is a railway station in Bakırköy, Istanbul. The station was built in 1955 as a stop on the Istanbul suburban commuter rail line until 2013, when the entire line was closed down for expansion and renovation. Florya station was demolished and rebuilt in order to accommodate for a third track. The new station entered service in the beginning of 2019 and became a stop on the Marmaray commuter rail line.The station was used by the public to access the Florya beach, a popular city beach in Istanbul.

Şenlikköy Stadium (Turkish: Şenlikköy Stadı) is a small stadium in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is the home stadium of Bakırköyspor. The stadium has a capacity of 8000.

Atatürk Airport (IATA: ISL, ICAO: LTBA) (former IATA code: IST) (Turkish: Atatürk Havalimanı) is a general aviation airport in Istanbul. It used to be an intercontinental passenger and cargo hub and closed to commercial passenger flights on 6 April 2019 when all flights were transferred to the new Istanbul Airport. All freight operations subsequently relocated as well by 5 February 2022.

Florya Atatürk Marine Mansion, (Turkish: Florya Atatürk Deniz Köşkü) is a historic presidential residence located offshore in the Sea of Marmara in the Florya neighborhood of the Bakırköy district in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built in 1935 by the municipality of Istanbul, for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's recreational use. The building is a historic house museum today.

Atatürk Havalimanı is the western terminal station on the M1A line of the Istanbul Metro. The station services Atatürk International Airport in Istanbul, which was the primary international gateway in Turkey. Atatürk Havalimanı was opened on 20 December 2002, along with DTM—İstanbul Fuar Merkezi, when the M1A (then just M1) was extended west of Yenibosna to the airport. The station is located next to the international terminal and is linked to the domestic terminal via a walkway. As a result of the closing of Atatürk International Airport for commercial passenger traffic and its replacement by a new airport northwest of the city in April 2019, the station no longer receives passenger traffic. It will continue to serve the airport in its remaining functions, including business flights, cargo, and general aviation; and the area surrounding the airport. The M11, which will connect the new airport to the rest of the metro system, will not open until 2020 at the earliest.

The Mor Ephrem Syriac Orthodox Church (Turkish: İstanbul Mor Efrem Süryani Kadim Ortodoks Kilisesi, Syriac: ܥܕܬܐ ܕܡܪܝ ܐܦܪܝܡ ܕܣܘܪ̈ܝܝܐ ܩܕ̈ܡܝܐ ܐܪ̈ܬܕܘܟܣܝܐ, romanized: ʿIdto d-Mor ʾAp̄rem d-Suryoye Qamoye ʾOrṯodoksoye) is a Syriac Orthodox church in Yeşilköy on the European part of Istanbul. Opened in 2023, it is the first church built since the foundation of the Republic of Turkey. It is dedicated to Ephrem the Syrian.
