The Church of St. Philip Neri is a Roman Catholic parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, US, located on the west side of the Grand Concourse at East 202nd Street, Bedford Park, Bronx, New York City.

The Bedford Park Boulevard–Lehman College station (formerly Bedford Park Boulevard–200th Street station) is a local station on the IRT Jerome Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Bedford Park Boulevard (formerly 200th Street) immediately west of Jerome Avenue in the Bronx, it is served by the 4 train at all times. It is also the only station on the Jerome Avenue Line north of 170th Street that is not located above Jerome Avenue. This station was constructed by the Interborough Rapid Transit Company as part of the Dual Contracts and opened in 1918.

Bedford Park is a residential neighborhood in the northwest Bronx, New York City, between the New York Botanical Garden and Lehman College. Its boundaries, starting from the north and moving clockwise are: Mosholu Parkway to the north, Webster Avenue to the east, East 196th Street to the south, and the Jerome Reservoir (south of Sedgwick Avenue) and Goulden Avenue (Sedgwick Avenue and north) to the west. The neighborhood is part of Bronx Community District 7, and its ZIP Codes include 10458 and 10468. The area is patrolled by the 52nd Precinct of the New York City Police Department.

The Academy of Mount St. Ursula is a Catholic girls’ college preparatory school in the United States, which was founded in 1855 as a part of the Monastery of St. Ursula in the town of Morrisania (now a part of the Bronx, New York). In 1892 the monastery relocated to Bedford Park Boulevard and Bainbridge Avenue, two blocks east of the Grand Concourse, in the Bronx. It is the oldest continuously operating Catholic high school for girls in the State of New York, and is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York. Owned and administered by the Ursuline Sisters of the Roman Union, the Academy of Mount St. Ursula's curriculum is based on spiritual and moral values. Providing advanced placement courses and connections with Mercy College and St. John's University, the academy gives qualified students the opportunity to earn college credit in their junior and senior years. Regular college preparatory courses enable the students to excel and apply to a wide variety of colleges and professional schools. The school has been honored by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School. AMSU continues to be accredited by the Middle States Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools. With a faculty and staff of 55, mainly lay personnel, and approximately 380 students, the Academy of Mount St. Ursula has a teacher-student ratio of 1 to 15 and an average class size of 20 to 25 students. In keeping with its Catholic identity and Ursuline tradition, the academy focuses greatly on community service. The school's motto is SERVIAM. This is the motto of all schools of the Ursuline Sisters of the Roman Union. The young women are required to complete a certain number of hours volunteering. They have joined with the young men of Cardinal Hayes High School in the "Cardinal Hayes Program Exceptional Children." The program takes place most Sundays during the academic year. There, the students join in helping children and adults with special needs. Students also are involved in Service Activities through the United Nations, in their parish, elementary schools and community organizations.

High Pumping Station is a historic pumping station located in Jerome Park, Bronx, the Bronx, New York City. It was built between 1901 and 1906, and is a rectangular red brick building with a steeply pitched slate covered gable roof. It was built as part of the Jerome Park Reservoir complex.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.The station is run by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection.

Lehman College is a public college in the Bronx borough of New York City. Founded in 1931 as the Bronx campus of Hunter College, the school became an independent college within CUNY in September 1967. The college is named after Herbert H. Lehman, a former New York governor, United States senator, philanthropist, and the son of Lehman Brothers co-founder Mayer Lehman. The Bronx High School of Science (commonly called Bronx Science or Science, and formerly Science High) is a public magnet, specialized high school in New York City, New York, United States. It is operated by the New York City Department of Education. Admission to Bronx Science involves passing the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test. Each November, about 30,000 eighth and ninth graders take the three-hour test for admittance to eight of the nine specialized high schools. The test is extremely competitive, with only 800 of the 30,000 applicants being accepted to Bronx Science each year. Founded in 1938 in the Bronx, New York City, Bronx Science is now situated in an educational area known as the Educational Mile in Bedford Park, a neighborhood in the northwest portion of the Bronx. Although originally known for its focus on mathematics and science, Bronx Science also emphasizes the humanities and social sciences and continually attracts students with a wide variety of interests beyond math and science. With eight Nobel Prize-winning alumni, seven in physics and one in chemistry, it has produced the most Nobel laureates in science of any secondary school in the world. Bronx Science alumni have also won two Turing Awards, sometimes unofficially referred to as the Nobel Prize in computer science; six National Medals of Science, the nation's highest scientific honor; and eight Pulitzer Prizes.

Bronx Park Terminal was a terminal station on the demolished IRT Third Avenue Line in the Bedford Park neighborhood of the Bronx in New York City. The station was located adjacent to Bronx Park and the New York Botanical Garden at 198th Street between Webster Avenue and Southern Boulevard, in the approximate location of the modern Fordham Preparatory School. It was opened on May 21, 1902 and closed on November 14, 1951. The next southbound stop was Fordham Road – 190th Street.

200th Street was a local station on the demolished IRT Third Avenue Line in the Bronx, New York City, near the New York Botanical Garden. The station was opened on October 4, 1920, and had three tracks and two side platforms. It was also one block south of the Botanical Garden New York Central Railroad station. The next stop to the north was 204th Street. The next stop to the south was Fordham Road–190th Street. The station was closed on April 29, 1973, along with the rest of the IRT Third Avenue Line.

The High School of American Studies at Lehman College (commonly called American Studies, HSAS, or Lehman) is a specialized high school in New York City. The school is administered by the New York City Department of Education. It receives supplementary funding from The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. Together with the Queens High School for the Sciences at York College and the High School for Math, Science and Engineering at City College, it was one of the three smaller specialized high schools opened in 2002 by the New York City Department of Education, and it is one of the 9 Specialized High Schools in New York City. Admission is granted through a competitive examination known as the SHSAT. As a public school, American Studies has no tuition fee, and only residents of the City of New York are eligible to attend. Admission to American Studies involves passing the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test. Each November, about 30,000 eighth and ninth graders take the 3-hour test for admittance to eight of the nine specialized high schools. Approximately 80-110 applicants are accepted each year. American Studies is located on the Lehman College campus in the Jerome Park section of the Bronx. It is ranked 49th nationally by U.S. News & World Report.

Botanical Garden station (also known as Botanical Garden–East 200th Street station) is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line, serving the Bedford Park section of the Bronx, New York City. It is 9.5 miles (15.3 km) from Grand Central Terminal and travel time there is approximately 22 minutes. The station is located just north of the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Bedford Park Boulevard (East 200th Street) adjacent to northern Bronx Park and the New York Botanical Garden. The station is located in the Zone 2 Metro-North fare zone.
