Lower Bucks Christian Academy was a private Christian school in the Greater Philadelphia area, serving grades K-12.In 1990 the school had 425 students. The school leased the Benjamin Franklin Junior High School facility in Bristol Township for a period of over 12 years, prior to 1990. That year the Bristol Township School District denied renewal of the lease since it wished to repurpose the building as an elementary school. Therefore, Lower Bucks Christian began to lose students and teachers who perceived the school as being unstable.Rev. Donald McCall, the head of the academy, was the chairperson of the Langhorne Terrace Baptist Church in Middletown. McCall proposed holding classes on the church property, but area residents protested the plan. Originally the zoning board of Middletown stated that it would not allow the church to house the school, and according to McCall many parents decided not to re-enroll their children at that point. The church appealed, and in August 1991 the Middletown township finally granted the school the right to use the church space, but because so few students were remaining, the school never reopened that fall.

WBCB is an AM broadcast station licensed to operate on 1490 kHz for Levittown, Pennsylvania, and serving the areas of Bucks County, Pennsylvania and other parts of suburban Philadelphia. Its programming mixes news, talk, music and local sports. WBCB began broadcasting on December 8, 1957 by owner Drew J.T. O'Keefe, who was a Main Line attorney. He owned the station until his death in the late 1980s. The early years were marked by the emergence of soon to be big name personalities like Bill Bircher and Horace Greely McNabb. Since 1992, the station has been owned by local businessman Pasquale T. Deon Jr. and veteran Philadelphia Eagles broadcaster Merrill Reese, who was a WBCB alumnus early in his career.

It was once small village of about 25 farm houses, a general store and post office prior to the Mall construction. It's believed the village of Oxford was settled around 1796. With 2,907 students enrolled for the 2021–2022 school year, Pennsbury High School is the largest high school in Bucks County and the tenth largest high school in the state of Pennsylvania. There are approximately 255 faculty members and staff. It is the only high school in Pennsbury School District, which has a total enrollment of 10,958 students and includes Bucks Technical High School and Intermediate Unit student totals.Pennsbury had a graduating class of 800 students in 2018, of which 91% were college-bound. The school had seven National Merit Scholarship finalists and one winner.
