Ecologistas en Acción (Spanish: Ecologistas en Acción, sometimes Ecologistas en Acción-CODA) is a Spanish grassroots confederation of 300 ecological groups, founded on December 9, 1998. Ecologistas en Acción is aligned with the philosophy of social ecology, which regards all environmental problems (and many other social ones) as proceeding from the same source: an increasingly globalised sustainability. Following this line of reasoning, the model of production and consumption needs to be changed in order to solve the ecological crisis. For this to happen, Ecologistas en Acción organises campaigns for civil society's outreach on a great number of ecological and energy-related issues. Among them, public complaint about all actions that damage the environment. Ecologistas en Acción publishes its own magazine, El Ecologista, manages its own publishing house, Libros en Acción, and develops its online presence as Proyecto EcoSpip.

The Edificio Carrión or Edificio Capitol is a building in central Madrid, Spain. An outstanding example of the expressionist-leaning trend within the wider scope of rationalist architecture in Spain, the building has become an icon of both the Gran Vía and the city.54-metre high, the building lies on the corner where the Gran Vía meets the Calle de Jacometrezo, near Callao Square. The project was entrusted to Vicente Eced Eced and Luis Martínez Feduchi, who were influenced by the November Group and most specifically by Erich Mendelsohn's works. Building works started on 11 April 1931.The building was inaugurated on 15 October 1933.Depicted in many artistic works, the building's façade was prominently used as setting of the movie El día de la bestia. The building was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 2018.

Cine Callao is a building located in Plaza de Callao in Madrid. It is a common venue for film premieres and press screenings.Designed by Luis Gutiérrez Soto, the facade features elements inspired by the Art Deco. The building was inaugurated on 11 December 1926. On 13 June 1929, it hosted the first screening in Spain of a film featuring synchronized speech, The Jazz Singer. In the 1970s, its basement housed the 'Xenon' discotheque. As of 2018, the building contained 2 film screens. It also features two large screens on its facade.

The Convento de Premonstratenses de San Norberto, also known as Convento de Mostenses or Convento de San Norberto, named after the founder of the Premonstratensian Order, is a religious building that disappeared. It was located on the ground of the current Plaza de Los Mostenses, next to the Gran Vía of Madrid (Spain). It was founded in 1611 by the community of the Fathers Canons Premonstratensians with the permission of Cardinal Archbishop of Toledo Bernardo de Rojas and financed by a benefactor, the Count of Miranda, Juan of Zúñiga, the then president of the Council of Castile. Today the site of the convent is occupied by a market built in the 19th century, known as Mercado de Los Mostenses.
