The Tumult of Aranjuez (Spanish: Motín de Aranjuez), also known as the Mutiny of Aranjuez, was an uprising led against King Charles IV that took place in the town of Aranjuez, Spain, on 17–19 March 1808. The event, which is celebrated annually in the first week of September, commemorates the fall of the monarch and the subsequent accession of his son Ferdinand VII. It is celebrated in September rather than in March as the revived celebrations in Aranjuez that began in 1988 were added on top of pre-existing September festivals.The revolt was instigated by disgruntled citizens and by Ferdinand's supporters.

Aranjuez (Spanish pronunciation: [aɾaŋˈxweθ] ) is a city and municipality of Spain, part of the Community of Madrid. Located in the southern end of the region, the main urban nucleus lies on the left bank of the Tagus, a bit upstream of the discharge of the Jarama. As of 2022, the municipality has a registered population of 59,762. Aranjuez became one of the Royal Estates of the Crown of Spain in 1560, during the reign of Philip II. Until 1752, only royalty and nobility were allowed to dwell in the town. The cultural landscape of Aranjuez was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001.

The Puente Colgado (Hanged Bridge) or Puente Colgante was a bridge on the Tagus river located in the town of Aranjuez, in the Community of Madrid, Spain. This replaced the Puente de Barcas, an ancient bridge that never became the main access to Aranjuez. It was built in the 1820s by Pedro Miranda. It had Classical style statues It could be considered a door to the city of a dignity that did not demean to its surroundings, as well as an attractive element. It was replaced due to the urgencies of the heavy traffic of an entire national highway running more practical solutions than beautiful.

The Convento de San Pascual is a royal monastery in Aranjuez, in the Community of Madrid, Spain, founded by King Charles III of Spain as a Franciscan monastery and built from 1765 to 1770. Under the reign of Isabel II of Spain, it was assigned to the Conceptionist nuns, and now is under the administration of the Patrimonio Nacional. The architect was the Italian Francesco Sabatini. The main altar has a painting by Anton Raphael Mengs. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1999.

The Casa del Labrador is a neoclassical palace in Aranjuez, Spain. The name means "house of the farm labourer", and was borrowed from an earlier building on the site, although the new building was intended for royal use. It was designed to complement the Royal Palace, providing a place for the royal family to spend the day without some of the customary restrictions of court life.

Jarama (Spanish pronunciation: [xaˈɾama]) is a river in central Spain. It flows north to south and passes east of Madrid where the El Atazar Dam is built on a tributary, the Lozoya River. It flows into the river Tagus in Aranjuez. The Manzanares is a tributary of the Jarama.

The Real Cortijo de San Isidro is a village that is administratively part of the municipality of Aranjuez within the Community of Madrid, Spain. As the name of the village implies, it was a royal agricultural estate and it retains a winery complete with wine-cellar which unusually was built with royal patronage. It has a voluntary, but official, village council known as 'una entidad local menor' that presides over an area of 1126 hectares. The Spanish State Statistical Survey of 2013 found 296 male and 306 female residents.

The Autopista Radial R-4 is a Spanish radial motorway originating from Madrid and passing through Valdemoro, connecting to the N-400, Autovía A-40 and Autopista AP-36. The road is managed by Spanish Operator Cintra.

Mesa de Ocaña is a comarca in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, in the province of Toledo. Its capital and administrative center is Ocaña. The comarca is located in the northeast part of the province, and encompasses an area that includes several hundred meters of the Tajo River Valley. The comarca is bordered on the North by Aranjuez (Las Vegas); to the south by Los Yébenes and the Mancha Alta de Toledo (comarca) comarca; to the West by La Sagra and Toledo; and to the East by the Mancha Alta de Toledo and La Mancha de Cuenca (comarca).
