Lot 36, Prince Edward Island

Watervale is a small farming community located about 20 km east of Charlottetown in lot #48 on Prince Edward Island, Canada. It was called Forgan's Hill but the members of the community voted to change the name sometime in the mid-19th century. While it presently has no retail outlets or public spaces, in the past it housed a community store, a family-run sawmill, a one-room school and a flag station on the Prince Edward Island Railway (PEIR). It has a population of approximately 50 permanent residents.

Lot 35 is a township in Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is part of Bedford Parish. It is split in two by the Hillsborough River. Lot 35 was awarded to Sir Alexander Maitland, 1st Baronet in the 1767 land lottery.: 266  It may have been sold to John MacDonald of Glenaladale in 1771, but Maitland was still listed as the proprietor after 1775.: 266  John MacDonald brought 210 Catholic Scottish Highlander settlers, 100 from Uist and 110 from mainland Scotland, to the "Tracadie Estate," which was composed of Lots 35 and 36.: 56, 234  Lot 35 was sold for arrears in 1781 before being restored in 1791.: 266  It was sold in 1792 to John MacDonald of Glenaladale. It was one of the principal areas of Scottish settlement on the island by the census of April 1798.: 60  The Tenant League, formed in 1863, was active in Lot 35.: 93 

Tracadie-Hillsborough Park is a former provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The district was created in the redistribution that preceded the 2007 Prince Edward Island general election out of parts of Sherwood-Hillsborough, Stanhope-East Royalty and Tracadie-Fort Augustus. The district was dissolved in the redistribution that preceded the 2019 Prince Edward Island general election. Its urban portion in Charlottetown was transferred to the new district of Charlottetown-Hillsborough Park, while the rural portion was largely transferred to the district of Stanhope-Marshfield, and a small part transferred to Morell-Donagh.

The Charlottetown meteorite was a meteorite fall observed on July 25, 2024. It is notable as the first meteorite known with video and audio of the impact recorded and as the only known meteorite fall in Prince Edward Island, Canada. The Charlottetown meteorite is classified as H5 ordinary chondrite. Its impact left a divot measuring about 2 cm (0.79 in) across.
