Bertel Thorvaldsens Plads

Nybrogade 6/Snaregade 3 is an 18th-century building complex overlooking ther Slotsholmens Kanal in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It consists of a five storeys tall and six bays wide building in Nybrogade (1762–1784, heightened 1797–1827) and a half-timbered rear wing in Snaregade ('1733) on the other side of the block as well as a seven-bays-long half-timbered side wing that connect them to each other along one side of a central courtyard. The three buildings were jointly listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. Notable former residents include the bookseller Salomon Soldin (1774–1837), composers Andreas Peter Berggreen (1801–1880) and Volkmar Busch and Wollert Konow. The building is today used as extra offices for the Ministry of Culture, headquartered in Assistenshuset at Nybrogade 2.

Pæretræet, literally The Pear Tree is a listed property at Nybrogade 4 in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was for many years used as residence for the inspector of the rotal pawn house, Assistenshuset, situated next door at No. 2. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.It takes its name after a pear tree which used to stand three storeys tall in front of it. A stone tablet above the basement entrance features a relief drawing of a pear tree and an inscription.

The Ziegler House (Danish: (Hofkonditor) Zieglers Gård), located at the corner of Nybrogade (No. 12) and Knabrostræde (No. 27), is an 18th-century Rococo-style, bourgeoisie townhouse overlooking Slotsholmens Kanal and Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was designed by Philip de Lange and formerly also known as Eneretsgården. It is now owned by Karberghus and operated as serviced offices under the name Zieglers Gaard Office Club. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.

The Royal Pawn (Danish: Det Kongelige Assistenshus) was a pawnbroking establishment which existed from 1688 to 1975 in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was created at private initiative but was taken over by the state in 1758. Its former building at Nybrogade 2 was expanded by Philip de Lange in 1762. It is now home to the Ministry of Culture. The building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.

The Thorvaldsen Museum is a single-artist museum in Copenhagen, Denmark, dedicated to the art of Danish Neoclassical sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770–1844), who lived and worked in Rome for most of his life (1796–1838). The museum is located on the small island of Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen next to Christiansborg Palace. Designed by Michael Gottlieb Bindesbøll, the building was constructed from 1838 to 1848 following a public collection of funds in 1837.

Henriette Melchiors Stiftelse is a historic building situated at the corner of Snaregade and Naboløs, overlooking the Gammel Strand canalfront, in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was constructed for the Jewish businessman Lion Israel after the previous building on the site had been destroyed in the Copenhagen Fire of 1795. It was, from 1861, owned by his grandson Moses Melchior, who in his will converted it into a charity with affordable accommodation for widows of scientists and artists, named for his sister Henriette Melchior. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.

Knabrostræde 30, also known as Det Ferske Fiskehandler-Kompagnis Hus (The Fresh Fish-Trading Company's House), is an 18th-century former fish warehouse situated on the Gammel Strand-Nybrogade canalfront, opposite Thorvaldsens Museum, in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Kay Bojesen's silver workshop was from 1913 to 1930 based in the basement at Nybrogade 14. The building has now been converted into office space and a restaurant. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.

Nybrogade 18 is an 18th-century canal house overlooking the Slotsholmen Canal in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The architect Vilhelm Tvede lived on the third floor as a child. The entire property was later owned first by him and then by his son Gotfred Tvede. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.

Snaregade 10 is a Neoclassical property located close to Gammel Strand in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The book printing business J. D. Qvist & Co was from some time during the 19th century and until at least the 1950s based in the building. The football club KB was on 26 April 1876 founded in the apartment of one of the owners. The property was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. Its most characteristic feature is the inwardly curved facade of a former warehouse in the courtyard on its rear.

The Royal Stables (Danish: De Kongelige Stalde) is the mews (i.e., combined stables and carriage house) of the Danish monarchy which provides the ceremonial transport for the Danish royal family during state events and festive occasions. The Royal Stables are located at Christiansborg Palace on the island of Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1789, the number of horses reached a peak with 270 horses stabled. Nowadays, there are about 20 horses in the Royal Stables. The Royal Stables are regularly open to the public and include a small museum. The state coaches and other carriages are kept there, along with about 20 horses.
