Toronto Track and Field Centre

Pioneer Village is a subway station on the Line 1 Yonge–University of the Toronto subway. It is located under the intersection of Northwest Gate and Steeles Avenue, at the city boundaries of Toronto and Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. A Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) bus terminal is connected to the southern portion of the station, and there is a regional bus terminal, the Pioneer Village Terminal, for connecting to York Region Transit (YRT) buses on the north side of Steeles Avenue. Pioneer Village, Highway 407 and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre stations are the first Toronto subway stations fully or partially located outside the Toronto city limits since its last amalgamation in 1998.

York Lions Stadium is an outdoor sports stadium on the Keele Campus of Toronto's York University in the former city of North York. It is home to the York Lions, the varsity teams of York University, the Toronto Arrows of Major League Rugby and York United of the Canadian Premier League. The facility was primarily built for the 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games, where it hosted track and field events and the opening ceremony. In 2021, the stadium's running track was removed to expand the playing surface used for football and soccer.

The Allan I. Carswell Astronomical Observatory, formerly known as the York University Astronomical Observatory, is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by York University. It is located in the North York district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Opened in 1969, York's observatory is opened to both researchers and amateur astronomers. The observatory was renamed the Allan Ian Carswell Astronomical Observatory in 2017 after York University Emeritus Professor of Physics Allan Carswell.The observatory owns two telescopes housed in separate domes: a 60 cm (24 in) Cassegrain reflector, and a 1 m (39 in) custom-built telescope, the largest at a university in Canada. Other smaller portable telescopes are available for visitor use. Telescopes 1 and 2 are located at the main building at Petrie, and the remainder at Arboretum Observing Facility on the roof of the Arboretum Parking Garage. The observatory's 40 cm cassegrain telescope, usually used for public outreach and observing, was replaced by a 1 metre telescope in August 2019, with the 40 cm telescope moved to the Arboretum Observing Facility.The observatory is open to the public every Wednesday evening, and also hosts public viewing sessions for special events, such as Astronomy Day in 2006, Earth Hour and Science Rendezvous in 2008. There is no admission cost to visit the observatory. Like the David Dunlap Observatory, York's location is subject to nearby light pollution. York is located away from residential neighbourhoods, but it is still subject to lights on campus and the surrounding business at the Keele location.

The Tait McKenzie Centre is an athletic facility located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at York University. The building is named for R. Tait McKenzie, a renowned sculptor, doctor, soldier, physical educator, and athlete. The building was based on the overall campus design concept in the 1960s under the joint venture UPACE (with John B. Parkin Associates, Shore and Moffat and Partners, Gordon S. Adamson and Associates). The facility consists of 45 cardio machines, four gymnasiums and a 25-metre (82 ft) swimming pool, among other amenities.The York University badminton, basketball, volleyball, swimming and water polo teams use this facility as their venue. The facility hosted the basketball and volleyball competition of the 2017 North American Indigenous Games.

CHRY-FM (branded as VIBE 105) is a Canadian radio station. It is run by Canadian Centre for Civic Media and Arts Development Inc. broadcasting at 105.5 MHz in Toronto, Ontario and has also served as a community radio station for the residents of the Jane and Finch corridor in North Toronto. CHRY's studios are located at York University's Student Centre, while its transmitter is located on top of the Vanier College residence building.

Alumni Field is an outdoor football, rugby and soccer stadium located at York University's Keele Campus in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the former home of the York Lions. The stadium was known as York Stadium prior to 2017. The Toronto Arrows split its home games at Alumni Field and Lamport Stadium during its inaugural 2019 Major League Rugby season.

Vanier College, founded in 1966, was the second college to come into existence on the Keele Campus. The college is proudly named after former Governor General of Canada Georges Vanier. The mandated academic areas which Vanier College supports are: Business and Society, Business Economics, Children’s Studies, Classical Studies & Classics, Culture and Expression, Economics, Financial and Business Economics, Hellenic Studies, Humanities, Individualized Studies, Jewish Studies, Liberal Studies, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Social and Political Thought as well as all Undecided Majors in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies.Vanier College is self-governed in its day-to-day activities by a master, the master’s office staff and students. Academic support is provided by an academic advisor and a team of peer advisors. Vanier Residence is managed by a residence life manager and a residence life team of dons, night porters and programmers, all of whom are upper-year students. Elected by, accountable to, and composed of students, Vanier College Council encourages community engagement through their social/cultural events programming. Affiliate organizations such as Vanier Athletics, the Vandoo, and Existere, provide additional alternative opportunities in sport and recreation, newspaper writing and creative arts and literature composition. Vanier College, like the other colleges, has fellows who are usually full-time academic faculty, administrative staff or outside affiliates who become members by invitation of the master. Distinguished researchers, award-winning lecturers, and internationally acclaimed writers are part of the community of Vanier Fellows.

York University Libraries (YUL) is the library system of York University in Toronto, Ontario. The four main libraries and one archives contain more than 2,500,000 volumes.

The Keele Campus is the main campus of York University in the North York district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It occupies roughly 1 square kilometre of land and is situated between Jane Street to the west, Keele Street to the east, Steeles Avenue West to the north and Finch Avenue West to the south. It is the largest post-secondary campus in Canada at 457 acres (185 ha).

York University (French: Université York), also known as YorkU or simply YU, is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is Canada's third-largest university, and it has approximately 55,700 students, 7,000 faculty and staff, and over 370,000 alumni worldwide. It has 11 faculties, including the Lassonde School of Engineering, Schulich School of Business, Osgoode Hall Law School, Glendon College, and 28 research centres. York University was established in 1959 as a non-denominational institution by the York University Act, which received royal assent in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario on 26 March of that year. Its first class was held in September 1960 in Falconer Hall on the University of Toronto campus with a total of 76 students. In the fall of 1961, York moved to its first campus, Glendon College, which was leased from U of T, and began to emphasize liberal arts and part-time adult education. In 1965, the university opened a second campus, the Keele Campus, in North York, within the neighbourhood community now called York University Heights. Over the last twenty years, York has become a centre for labour strife with several faculty and other strikes occurring, including the longest university strike in Canadian history in 2018. The university has also faced challenges in handling antisemitism on campus.

The original National Tennis Centre in Toronto was located in the north end of York University's Keele Campus next to the Metro Toronto Track and Field Centre.The first tournament at the facility was the 1976 Rothmans Canadian Open. Originally built with clay courts, it was changed to Har-Tru hardcourts in time for the 1979 tournament. The main structure was an open-air stadium that held roughly 10,000 fans, and a second show court held roughly 2,000. The site had six courts for play, and 4 practice courts (used for housing player facilities). By the end of the 2000s, the wooden bench seating in the main stadium and the small grounds (boxed in by Steeles Avenue on the north, parking lots to the west and south and historic Jacob Stong House and Barn to the east) were deemed too small for the growing tournament and was not suitable for tier one tennis tours. Pressure from the ATP and the WTA Tours collectively forced the building of a new site on the west end of York University. Its final event was the 2003 Rogers AT&T Cup women's tournament. The stadium was torn down and replaced by the Rexall Centre, located to the west of this site the following year. The centre court has been demolished with area fenced off, but the eight outer courts are still present (two other courts are covered over). York University uses the building at 190 Albany Road for office space.

Canlan Sports – York is an ice hockey arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and is operated by Canlan Ice Sports Corporation. It is the main ice rink at York University's Keele Campus, as the home of the York Lions men's and women's varsity hockey teams. It is also the home of the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation. The facility opened in 1996 as the Beatrice Ice Gardens, and has one Olympic-sized and five NHL-sized ice rinks. The seating capacity for the largest rink is 1,200. The arena has also been used for National Hockey League training camps. The current complex replaced the York University Ice Palace, built in 1968. The building lacked seating for spectators, and has since been converted into the Sherman Health Science Research Centre. The arena was purchased by Canlan Ice Sports in August 2007. On 1 October 2020, the Toronto Six announced they had an agreement in place to play their inaugural season in the Premier Hockey Federation, known at the time as the National Women's Hockey League, at the facility, as well as having locker rooms built out specifically for the team.
