McCowan is a terminal station on Line 3 Scarborough of the Toronto subway. It is located at 1275 McCowan Road, just north of Ellesmere Road at Bushby Drive/Town Centre Court. Both of the surface routes that pass the McCowan station also stop at Scarborough Centre station, located almost directly across McCowan Road, effectively leaving McCowan as a dead-end in the system. The station is on three levels: Line 3 is on the upper floor, the automatic entrance from the Consilium Place office complex via the Pedway pedestrian walkway is on the second floor, and the station entrance from McCowan Road with the collector, and the concourse are on the lower floor. In February 2021, the TTC recommended the closure of Line 3 in 2023 and its replacement by bus service until the completion of Scarborough extension of Line 2 Bloor–Danforth. This closure would also include this station.

Toronto Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology a North American technology Institute providing specialized education and training in pharmaceutical sciences and technology. The Institute was established to provide the bridge between academia and industry delivering experiential training to science graduates. TIPT has over 4000 graduates who are qualified professionals.

Scarborough Centre Bus Terminal is a regional and intercity bus terminal in Scarborough City Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, located adjacent to its namesake rapid transit station on Line 3 Scarborough of the Toronto subway. It is served by GO Transit buses, Megabus (Coach Canada), TOK, and other private coach services. The terminal is adjacent to the Scarborough Town Centre shopping mall and the Scarborough Civic Centre. Line 3 Scarborough is expected to close permanently in 2023, and be replaced, initially with TTC buses until the extension of Line 2 Bloor-Danforth to Sheppard and McCowan in Scarborough opens for revenue service. Thus, the TTC will require more space to handle replacement buses, and will require GO Transit and intercity buses to vacate the Scarborough Centre Bus Terminal by the end of the third quarter of 2022 so that the area can be reconfigured for more TTC buses. The temporary location for regional and intercity buses will be on the west side of Scarborough Town Centre. A new Scarborough Centre Bus Terminal is expected to be built in 2030 east of Scarborough Town Centre as part of the planned Scarborough Centre station on the Scarborough extension of Line 2 Bloor–Danforth. The new bus terminal will also be the eastern terminal of the proposed Durham–Scarborough bus rapid transit corridor.

The Canada Centre Building in Scarborough, Toronto, houses the offices of Service Canada, Human Resources and Social Development Canada, Passport Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency. Sandwiched between the Scarborough Civic Centre and Scarborough Town Centre shopping mall, the building was completed in 1986. Its opening came shortly after the opening of the Scarborough RT the preceding year, and it is easily accessible from Scarborough Centre RT station.

McCowan Yard is a rail yard on the Toronto Transit Commission's (TTC's) Line 3 Scarborough of the Toronto subway system. The yard is situated on a 4.5-acre (1.8 ha) site located east of McCowan Station, the eastern terminal of the line. The yard's street entrance is at 1720 Ellesmere Road, Scarborough, Toronto.

Albert Campbell Square is a public square in Scarborough City Centre in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is named after Albert Campbell, the first mayor of the Borough of Scarborough and former Chairman of the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto. It is adjacent to the Scarborough Centre Bus Terminal, which is a station for GO Transit buses and other intercity coach services. In February 2021, the TTC recommended the closure of Line 3 in 2023 and its replacement by bus service until the completion of Scarborough extension of Line 2 Bloor–Danforth. After the closure of this station, a new Scarborough Centre station would be built along the planned Line 2 extension east of the existing station.

The Scarborough Civic Centre is a civic centre located in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was designed by architect Raymond Moriyama during the development of Scarborough City Centre and initially opened as the city hall of the former borough of Scarborough by then mayor Albert Campbell and Queen Elizabeth II in 1973. The building served as the municipal office and office for the Scarborough Board of Education. Following the amalgamation of Toronto, Scarborough lost its city status and the civic centre became a secondary hub for the City of Toronto government. It is also home to the Scarborough Community Council and offices of the Toronto District School Board. The civic centre is adjacent to Albert Campbell Square. It is south of Scarborough Centre station and the Scarborough Town Centre shopping mall.

Scarborough City Centre is a commercial district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was the central business district for the former city of Scarborough, which amalgamated with Toronto in 1998. Scarborough City Centre remains one of the central business districts outside Downtown Toronto.

9 Channel Nine Court (alternatively known as the CTV Toronto Studios, CFTO-TV Studios, Glen Warren Studios or Bell Media Agincourt and temporarily known as 9 Dave Devall Way) is an office and studio complex owned by Bell Media (formerly CTVglobemedia) in the Agincourt neighbourhood of Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The civic address of the complex refers to the over-the-air channel on which CFTO-TV, the building's original tenant, broadcast. It is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Highway 401 and McCowan Road near the Scarborough City Centre.
