Coláiste Íosagáin is a Catholic girls gaelscoil (Irish language secondary school) in Dublin, Ireland. In 2008 and 2014, 69% of students went on to third level education. It was ranked second in 2011 and 2010 by The Irish Times Good Schools Guide.

St. Helen's is a period house built in the early 1750s and located in Booterstown, County Dublin, Ireland. It is operated as a five star Radisson hotel and owned by the Cosgrave Property Group. It had some notable owners such as the Hugh Gough, 1st Viscount Gough, Sir John Nutting and the Congregation of Christian Brothers. The building displays the motto "Mors Potior Macula", meaning "Death rather than infamy".

St Andrew's College (Irish: Coláiste Naomh Aindriú) is a co-educational, inter-denominational, international Independent day school, founded in 1894 by members of the Presbyterian community, and now located in Booterstown, Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland. The school colours are blue and white.

Church of the Assumption, Booterstown is a Roman Catholic church located in Booterstown, County Dublin, Ireland. The church represents the Parish of the Assumption Booterstown, which was established in 1616. The present church opened in 1813 and was built as a replacement for the old chapel that existed at the site. The construction was paid for by Richard FitzWilliam, 7th Viscount FitzWilliam who provided it for his Catholic tenants.

Belfield Park was a sports venue in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland which was the home ground of University College Dublin A.F.C. from 1930 until 2007. It was previously a walled garden of Belfield House. The ground was officially opened in August 1971 as Shamrock Rovers defeated a Mick Meagan XI [1]. It had capacity for 2,500 people, including 1,448 seats. It was located on the western edge of the Belfield campus off Foster's Avenue. The main stand was the covered AIB Stand, while the Foster's Avenue End, which had been closed for 2 seasons because the wooden floorboards were unsafe in wet weather, was re-opened for the 2007 League of Ireland season with the bucket seats from the old Lansdowne Road stadium. The stadium played host to under-age Ireland international matches and senior international training sessions on occasion as well as hosting some games in the 1994 UEFA European Under-16 Football Championship. Shamrock Rovers and Dublin City F.C. also played League of Ireland Cup games against UCD at Belfield Park. 300 extra seats were temporarily added for the 2005 League Cup final against Derry City, which, together with the opening of the hill, increased capacity to 2,500. UCD left Belfield Park after the 2007 season as plans for a ground share with the rugby team in the UCD Bowl came to fruition. The move was expected to take place as early as October 2007 but did not happen until the start of the 2008 League of Ireland. Belfield Park is being developed by the college as the University Biotechnology Centre.

Mount Merrion (Irish: Cnoc Mhuirfean) is a suburb of Dublin, Ireland. It is roughly 7 kilometres (5 mi) south of Dublin city centre and is situated on and around the hill of the same name.

Merrion Cemetery, Bellevue (Irish: Reilig Mhuirfean) is a cemetery located on Bellevue Avenue off the Merrion Road in Dublin, Ireland a short distance to the north west of Booterstown. The recently demolished "Tara Towers" hotel was adjacent to the graveyard. The cemetery was in use from 1300 to 1866. Since 1978 it has been used as a public park under the care of Dublin City Council

Booterstown (Irish: Baile an Bhóthair, meaning 'town of the road') is a coastal suburb of the city of Dublin in Ireland. It is also a townland and civil parish in the modern county of Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown. It is situated about 7 km (4.3 mi) south of Dublin city centre.

Booterstown Marsh, a Nature Reserve, is located in Booterstown, County Dublin, between the coastal railway line and the Rock Road. It is an area of salt marsh and muds, with brackish water. It includes the only salt marsh, and the only bird sanctuary, in south Dublin Bay. It lies just outside the boundary of Dublin city, and just north of Booterstown DART station and its car park. The marsh belongs to the residual Pembroke Estate, and An Taisce administer it, having acquired a lease in 1970-1971 and having designated it a bird sanctuary. It is part of both a proposed Natural Heritage Area (NHA) and a proposed Special Area of Conservation (SAC), and of the South Dublin Bay and River Tolka Estuary Special Protection Area (SPA).

Booterstown railway station (Irish: Stáisiún Bhaile an Bhóthair) serves Booterstown in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland. The station is located on the coast, bordering the bird sanctuary of Booterstown marsh to the west and southeast. The road linking the station to the Rock Road runs to the southwest, with a car park beside it. The ticket office is open between 06:00-00:00 AM, Monday to Sunday.

Merrion Castle was a castle situated about 300m south of the present-day Merrion Gates, to the south of Dublin city centre. Built in the early fourteenth century, it was from the sixteenth century to the early eighteenth century the principal seat of the Fitzwilliam family, who later acquired the title Viscount Fitzwilliam. After the Fitzwiliams moved to Mount Merrion House in about 1710 the castle fell into ruin, and it was demolished in 1780. No trace of Merrion Castle survives today. It was located opposite Merrion Gates, on the site of St. Mary's Home and School for the Blind. Its location, and the modern site of St.Mary's, can be seen on historical maps, including the six inch (1829-1841) Ordnance Survey of Ireland maps.

UCD GAA or University College Dublin Gaelic Athletic Association club is a Dublin based Gaelic games club in University College Dublin. The UCD hurling club was founded in 1900 and boasted the mottos "Ad Astra" and "Cothrom Féinne". The first team was an amalgamation of students from UCD and Cecilia St. Although UCD had been playing Gaelic football unofficially since 1900, the official club history began in the season of 1911/1912. The football club competes in the Sigerson Cup and Higher Education Leagues as well as in the Dublin Senior Football Championship and the O'Byrne Cup. The hurling club competes in the Fitzgibbon Cup and Higher Education Leagues and occasionally in the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship and the Walsh Cup. The Camogie Club competes in the Ashbourne Cup. The ladies Gaelic football team competes in the O'Connor Cup. Former Dublin great Brian Mullins is the director of sport at UCD. Ger Brennan & Josh Warde are currently in charge of all Gaelic games on the UCD campus.
