Temple Beth El of Borough Park

Young Israel Beth El of Borough Park, sometimes called Young Israel Beth El of Boro Park and abbreviated as YIBE, is an Orthodox Jewish congregation and historic synagogue, located at 4802 15th Avenue in Borough Park, Brooklyn, New York City, New York, in the United States. Formed in the 1980s through a merger of Temple Beth El of Borough Park, established in 1902, and Young Israel of Boro Park, established c. 1930s, the merged congregation worships from the historic 1920s temple that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Boro Park General Hospital (sometimes written Borough Park General Hospital), was a 1920s to 1960 hospital whose Brooklyn address concurrently had one of two other names. The 1925-built structure is now a school.

Gidone Busch or Gary Busch (1968 – August 30, 1999) was a mentally ill Breslover Hasid who was shot and killed outside his apartment in Borough Park, Brooklyn by four officers of the New York City Police Department, who fired on him at least 12 times. The killing was highly controversial, because although Busch was armed at the time, the weapon he brandished was a claw hammer, and accounts of the incident varied widely.

Congregation Shomrei Emunah (Hebrew: קהל שומרי אמונה) is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue located in Borough Park, Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 1907, the congregation moved into its present edifice in 1910. Its current spiritual leader is Rabbi Aviezer Cohen.

Masbia (Hebrew: משביע, lit., "satiate") is a network of kosher soup kitchens in New York City. Its three locations in the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Borough Park and Midwood, as well as the Queens neighborhood of Rego Park, serve over 500 free, hot kosher meals nightly. Masbia is the only free soup kitchen serving kosher meals in New York City. The organization receives 10% of its budget from government aid, relying heavily on private donations of money and food to meet its $2 million annual operating budget.

Borough Park (also spelled Boro Park) is a neighborhood in the southwestern part of the borough of Brooklyn, in New York City. Hebrew Institute of Boro Park (HIBP, also known as Yeshivas Etz Chaim/Etz Hayim) is a defunct private school in New York City. It was the first Jewish day school in Borough Park, Brooklyn.

The Living Torah Museum is a group of Orthodox Jewish museums that opened in 2002 and drew approximately 600,000 visitors in the first twelve years. The museums were founded and are operated by rabbi and author Shaul Shimon Deutsch. The first location is at 1601 41st Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn, New York, United States, and was named a Best Museum of New York by The Village Voice. A second location, in the Catskill Mountains town of Fallsburg, operates during the summer season. A third location, which was open year-round in Lakewood, New Jersey, closed in 2014.Originally a separate museum that opened in 2008, an exhibit on animals of the Bible and Talmud, known as the Torah Animal World merged with the main museum in 2014. It is also home to examples of Biblical and Talmudic archaeological artifacts and antique Judaica and Jewish books. From 2005 to 2016, the museum was home to the world's oldest known example of a stone tablet inscribed with the Ten Commandments until it was sold at auction for $850,000 in November 2016.

Bais Yaakov Machon Academy (also known as Bais Yaakov Machon) was a high school for Jewish girls. It primarily serviced the Jewish community located in Briarwood, Queens, New York City. Its primary goal was to help the Jewish community strengthen its Jewish education. The school recently changed its name from Machon Academy to Bais Yaakov Machon and its location from Forest Hills to Briarwood.

The 50th Street station is a local station on the BMT West End Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of 50th Street and New Utrecht Avenue in Borough Park, Brooklyn. It is served by the D train at all times. The station opened in 1916, and had its platforms extended in the 1960s.
