Blågårds Plads

Blågårdsgade is a mostly pedestrianized street in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Nørrebrogade in the northeast to Åboulevard in the southwest and passes the square Blågårds Plads. The street is known for its many shops and cafés.

Folkets Park (Danish for "People's park") is a small park in Nørrebro in Copenhagen, situated between Griffenfeldsgade and Stengade. The park was established by local residents in 1971, who also converted a disused building in the park into a community center, Folkets Hus. After intermittent attempts to clear the park, the City of Copenhagen accepted it as a park in 2008, and performed some renovation.

Nørrebro (Danish pronunciation: [ˈnɶɐ̯ɐˌpʁoˀ], NUH-rah-pro) is one of the 10 official districts of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is northwest of the city centre, beyond the location of the old Northern Gate (Nørreport), which, until dismantled in 1856, was near the current Nørreport station.

Bethlehem Church (Danish: Bethlehemskirken) is a church in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark, located on Åboulevard, close to Peblinge Lake and the municipal border with Frederiksberg. Peder Vilhelm Jensen-Klint made the first sketches for the church but after his death it was completed by his son, Kaare Klint, and built from 1935 to 1937. Its style is remniscient of Grundtvig's Church, Jensen Klint's most famous work, which was also completed posthumously by Kaare Klint, although on a much smaller scale.

Griffenfeldsgade is a street in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark, running from Nørrebrogade in the northeast to Åboulevard on the border to Frederiksberg in the southwest from where it continues as H. C. Ørsteds Vej. The street has a multiethnic character and is home to a number of African specialty stores, coffee shops and restaurants. Between Griffenfeldsgade and Stengade is a small green space, Folkets Park, which was refurbished between 2007 and 2009.

Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (MS Danish Association for International Co-operation) is a Danish, politically independent humanitarian non-governmental organisation that struggles for a fairer world. The organisation works for increased understanding and solidarity between the peoples of the world, as well as promoting global development based on the sustainable use and just distribution of wealth and resources. MS started as Fredsvenners Hjælpearbejde in 1944. In 1946 the organisation changed its name to Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke, and in 1974 it adopted open membership. Currently, MS has more than 23.000 individual members, as well as approximately 100 member-organisations. Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke cooperates with more than 100 local partners in Latin America, Eastern Africa and Nepal, and maintains local offices in many of the countries (e.g. MS Tanzania, MS Nepal, etc.). Via its volunteer programme Global Contact, it sends more than 500 volunteers abroad annually, to support local development work. In 1994 association with the Irish Kimmage Development Studies Centre, the MS Training Centre for Development Cooperation(MS-TCDC) began running of a Certificate in Community Development course, in Arusha, Tanzania. In 2001 as part of the partnership with, Kimmage DSC a Diploma in Development Studies was offered, which in 2004 became the Level 7 BA Degree in Development Studies, which is validated by the Irish governments Higher Education and Training Awards Council(HETAC). The course is recognised by the Tanzanian governments National Council for Technical Education(NACTE).In recent years, Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke has strengthened its public profile by arranging public debates, festivals and an annual door-to-door collection of contributions.

Fælledvej (lit. "Common Road") is a street in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It links the major shopping street Nørrebrogade in the west with the square Sankt Hans Torv in the east.

The Nørrebros Teater is a theater in Copenhagen, Denmark. Notable actors who have starred at the theatre before entering film include Osvald Helmuth, Buster Larsen, Poul Reichhardt and Poul Bundgaard. It is now operated as a part of the Københavns Teater in affiliation with the Betty Nansen Teatret, Folketeatret and Østre Gasværk Teater.

Åboulevard (lit. "River Boulevard") is a street in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Together with H. C. Andersens Boulevard in the city centre and Borups Allé, it forms a major artery in and out of the city. The road is built over Ladegårds Å, a canal originally built to supply Copenhagen with water, which still runs in a pipe under it, feeding water into Peblinge Lake.

The Jewish Northern Cemetery in Nørrebro was formerly the principal Jewish cemetery in Copenhagen, Denmark. It has an area of 13,500 square metres and contains some 5,500 burials.

Kapelvej (lit. 'Chapel Road') is a street in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Nørrebrogade in the northeast to Ågade in the southwest. It first part follows the southeast wall of Assistens Cemetery. The Neo-Gothic Holy Cross Church is located at the corner with Hans Tavsens Gade. The street is blocked for cars at Tjørnegade.

Indre Nørrebro (lit. English, "Inner Nørrebro"), is one of the 15 administrative, statistical, and tax city districts (bydele) comprising the municipality of Copenhagen, Denmark. It covers an area of 1.72 km², has a population of 31,046 and a population density of 18,057 per km², making it the second most densely populated district in Copenhagen. Neighboring city districts are as follows: to the southeast is the Indre By, also known as "Copenhagen Center" or "Downtown Copenhagen" or "City", separated from Indre Nørrebro by the "lakes" (Skt. Jørgens Lake, Peblinge Lake, and Sortedams Lake) to the northeast is Indre Østerbro to the northwest is Ydre Nørrebro to the southwest is Frederiksberg municipality, which is not a part of Copenhagen municipality but rather an enclave surrounded by the municipalityColloquially, the Indre Nørrebro and the Ydre Nørrebro are collectively referred to as Nørrebro.
