Omaha Country Club is a private country club in Omaha, Nebraska, located in the northern area of the city. Established in 1899 in the Country Club Historic District, it selected its present site in 1925. The golf course opened in 1927 and was renovated in 1951 by Perry Maxwell. The club hosted the U.S. Senior Open in 2013, won by Kenny Perry and 2021, won by Jim Furyk.

Glenn Cunningham Lake is a 390-acre (1.6 km2) reservoir located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The lake is located along 96th Street with entrances at State Highway 36, State Street, 96th Street and Rainwood Road. The lake is a part of Little Papillion Creek, which is part of the Papillion Creek watershed. Glenn Cunningham Lake, named for former Omaha mayor and U.S. Congressman Glenn C. Cunningham, is located in north central Omaha. The lake project was constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for flood control and recreation and opened to the public in 1977. The lake has a 390-acre (1.6 km2) surface area and a maximum depth of approximately 23 ft (7 m). More than 1,050 acres (4 km2) of parkland surround the lake, including 450 acres (1.8 km2), north of Nebraska Highway 36, designated as wildlife area. In 2006 the lake was drained and underwent an extensive ecosystem reconstruction which was completed in 2009. As of 2010 the lake itself has been fully restored and reopened for sailing and other public use. In October 2018, the lake was again closed and drained due to invasive species.

Debolt is an unincorporated community in Douglas County, Nebraska, United States, located approximately seven miles northwest of Omaha.A post office called Debolt or De Bolt (two words) was established in 1892, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1899. The railroad stop on the Chicago & Northwestern line was called De Bolt Place.

J. J. Isaacson Field at Seymour Smith Park is a 1,000-seat baseball park in Omaha, Nebraska. It was home to the Omaha Mavericks baseball team of the NCAA Division I Summit League. The venue has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.

Cutler's Park was briefly the headquarters camp of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) established by 2,500 members as they were making their way westward to the Rocky Mountains. It was apparently created in August 1846 and covered all around what is now the intersection of Mormon Bridge Road and Young Street in Omaha, Nebraska, though it appears to have been completely vacated by December 1846, before even Nebraska Territory came into existence. Historic Florence, Nebraska was built on its site, making use of what had been left when it was abandoned. Cutler's Park proved to be Nebraska's first and briefest planned community. Although it was made up of only tents and wagons arranged in orderly squares, it had a governing council with various committees, an emergency brigade, and even a town square. A monument has been erected to commemorate this historic site. Cutler's Park was named in honor of Alpheus Cutler, who founded the site. Cutler was an early leader in the Latter Day Saint movement, who was later known for being one of the master builders of the Nauvoo Temple and for establishing his own branch of Mormonism known as the Church of Jesus Christ (Cutlerite). Cutler's Park was some 3½ miles west-southwest of another short-lived but notable settlement established in 1846, Winter Quarters, which outlasted Cutler's Park, remaining until 1848.

The Potter's Field Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska, United States is located on a 5-acre (20,000 m2) plot of land at 5000 Young Street near the intersections of Young Street and Mormon Bridge Road. Like all Potter's Fields, it was used to bury poor people or people with no known identity from across the Omaha area. The cemetery was active from 1887 to 1957.

Omaha Northwest High Magnet School at 8204 Crown Point Avenue in northwest Omaha, Nebraska, United States, is located on a 61-acre (250,000 m2) campus. Construction was completed in 1971. Further renovations were completed in 2004, adding several classrooms and improving the choral and band facilities. Northwest is one of nine public high schools in the Omaha Public School District. Special features within the building include an auditorium center, a 2,200 seat gymnasium with two balcony areas for physical education instruction and interscholastic athletics, and the latest equipment for students in specialized areas such as computer technology, art, business, mathematics, industrial technology and science. However, while the school has swim teams, the building has no pool. Northwest's colors are scarlet, navy, and old gold. Its mascot is the Husky. The current principal of Omaha Northwest High Magnet is Dr. Kimberly Jackson.

Licensed to Omaha, Nebraska, United States, the station serves the Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska radio markets. The station is owned and operated by Northwestern Media, a ministry of the University of Northwestern - St. Paul. KGBI's studios are located on Burt Street, near North 120th Street and Dodge Road, in West Omaha, while its transmitter is located at the Omaha master antenna farm at North 72nd Street and Crown Point Avenue.

WOWT (channel 6) is a television station in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, affiliated with NBC and owned by Gray Television. The station's studios are located on Farnam Street near downtown Omaha, and its transmitter is located on a "tower farm" near North 72nd Street and Crown Point Avenue in north-central Omaha. WOWT is Gray's only Nebraska station not to be part of its Nebraska News & Weather Network (consisting of sister stations KOLN/KGIN, KSNB-TV and KNOP-TV).
