The Bronx Night Market is an open-air market that originated in Fordham Plaza, Bronx next to Fordham University. It takes place on the last Saturday of the month from April to November from 4 pm to 10 pm. Vendors sell foods from more than 40 countries and a variety of merchandise, with live music.

Fordham Plaza, originally known as Fordham Square, is a major commercial and transportation hub in the Fordham and Belmont sections of the Bronx in New York City, New York, United States. It is located on the south side of Fordham Road at Third and Webster Avenues, at the eastern end of the commercial strip along Fordham Road ("Fordham Center") that runs past Grand Concourse and Jerome Avenue to about Grand Avenue, and to the west of the Bronx's Little Italy district on Arthur Avenue in Belmont. The plaza is located across from Fordham University's Rose Hill campus, and above the Fordham station of the Metro-North Railroad. The Fordham Plaza name refers specifically to two locations in the area: the office building One Fordham Plaza on the east side of Third Avenue; and the Fordham Plaza Bus Terminal, a bus loop and pedestrian plaza on the west side above the station. It along with the rest of the Fordham Road commercial district constitutes the largest shopping strip in the Bronx, and the third largest in New York City.

The Bronx Library Center is a branch of the New York Public Library in the Fordham section of the Bronx in New York City. The library is located at 310 East Kingsbridge Road between Fordham Road and East 192nd Street, two blocks east of the Grand Concourse. It is the central library for the Bronx. The library opened in January 2006, replacing the Fordham Branch Library, which had previously served the Bronx. At 78,000 square feet (7,200 m2), it is the first "green" library in New York City with LEED Silver certification; it also has three times as much space as its predecessor. This building cost an estimated $50 million and is characterized by the sloping curve of its roof and the extensive glass curtain wall on the eastern elevation of the facade. The building was designed by the New York City-based architecture firm Dattner Architects, led by architect Richard Dattner.

Fordham Road–190th Street was an express station on the demolished IRT Third Avenue Line in the Bronx, New York City. It was located at Fordham Road and Third Avenue, one block east of Webster Avenue, in the modern location of Fordham Plaza. Opened in 1901, the station was closed in 1973 and demolished in 1977 along with the rest of the Third Avenue Line. No trace of the station exists today.

The Gabelli School of Business is the undergraduate and graduate business schools of Fordham University, the Jesuit University of New York. Fordham University's involvement in business started early in the 20th century with the founding of the School of Business in 1920. The Gabelli School of Business has been an AACSB-accredited business school for over 50 years, is a partner with the CFA Institute. As of March 2015, it incorporated the former Fordham Graduate School of Business.

Fordham station, also known as Fordham–East 190th Street station, is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem and New Haven Lines, serving Fordham Plaza in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx, New York City. The platforms are situated just below street level and feature two expanded side platforms that serve eight cars each, on the outer tracks. The station building sits above the tracks on the Fordham Road (East 190th Street) overpass, and still bears the name New York Central Railroad on its facade. The station is among the busiest rail stations in the Bronx.

The Dollar Savings Bank Building is a former bank building at 2516–2530 Grand Concourse in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx in New York City, New York, U.S. Constructed for the defunct Dollar Savings Bank in three phases between 1932 and 1952, it was designed by Adolf L. Muller, an associate with Halsey, McCormack & Helmer. The building uses motifs designed in the Art Deco style, with influences from classical architecture. The building's facade and interior are New York City designated landmarks, and the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building consists of a 1-to-4-story banking wing to the south and a 10-story office wing to the north. The banking wing has a granite facade measuring 150 feet (46 m) wide along Grand Concourse, with entrance pavilions to the north and south, flanking large windows in the center. The office wing is clad with granite on its lower stories, with two additional entrances, while the upper stories are clad with brick and architectural terracotta. The northwest corner of the office wing has a clock tower with four faces, protruding above the roof. Inside the banking-hall wing is a double-height column-free space with classical decorations and five murals about the Bronx. The basement has a safe-deposit lobby and was built with offices, storage, and steel vaults. The office wing contains a banking annex, a lobby, and office spaces. The site was originally part of the estate of John Valentine and acquired by the Dollar Savings Bank in 1932. The first part of the banking hall opened in 1933, and it was expanded northward between 1937 and 1938. Further growth in the bank's business prompted another expansion from 1949 to 1952. The building was acquired by the Dollar Dry Dock Savings Bank in 1983, then the Emigrant Savings Bank in 1992. The two portions of the building came under different ownership in the late 20th and early 21st centuries; the banking hall continued to host a bank, while the office wing housed a social-service agency. In 2013, Ivan Diaz bought both portions. The bank closed in 2014, and the building was redeveloped into a supermarket and dormitory in the 2020s.

Duane Library is a former library located at Fordham University's Rose Hill campus, originally constructed in 1926. After the construction of the William D. Walsh Family Library in 1997, Duane Library officially closed. Renovated in 2004, it now houses the university's admissions office and theology department.

Keating Hall is a building located at Fordham University in the Bronx, New York City. Constructed in 1936, it is considered the "centerpiece" of the university's main Rose Hill campus, and is the home to the university's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

The Blue Chapel, officially consecrated as the Chapel of Most Holy Mary, Mother of Sorrows is a Roman Catholic memorial chapel located in Keating Hall on the Rose Hill campus of Fordham University in the Bronx, New York City. It originally opened in 1937 upon the completion of Keating Hall. The chapel went through two different renovations: One in 1980, in which several of the chapel's original architectural features were masked or removed, and another in 2007, in which it was restored to its original state. Its prominent stained glass window faces outward from the façade of Keating Hall overlooking Edwards Parade.

The Fordham Road station is an express station on the IND Concourse Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Fordham Road and Grand Concourse in one of the largest shopping districts in New York City, it is served by the D train at all times and the B train during rush hours only.
