Ansley Park is an intown residential district in Atlanta, Georgia, located just east of Midtown and west of Piedmont Park. When developed in 1905-1908, it was the first Atlanta suburban neighborhood designed for automobiles, featuring wide, winding roads rather than the grid pattern typical of older streetcar suburbs. Streets were planned like parkways with extensive landscaping, while Winn Park and McClatchey Park are themselves long and narrow, extending deep into the neighborhood. Ansley Golf Club borders the district. The neighborhood was largely completed by 1930 and covers 275 acres (1.11 km2). It has been designated a Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2008, the median household income for the neighborhood was $226,335. To the immediate east of the golf course is the Eastside Trail interim hiking trail, part of the BeltLine ring of parks and trails around the central city.

Rhodes Memorial Hall, commonly known as Rhodes Hall, is an historic house located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It was built as the home of furniture magnate Amos Giles Rhodes, proprietor of Atlanta-based Rhodes Furniture. The Romanesque Revival house occupies a prominent location on Peachtree Street, the main street of Atlanta, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It is open to the public and has been the home of The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation since 1983.

The Hebrew Benevolent Congregation Temple bombing occurred on October 12, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia. The Hebrew Benevolent Congregation Temple, on Peachtree Street, housed a Reform Jewish congregation. The building was damaged extensively by the dynamite-fueled explosion, although no one was injured. Five suspects were arrested almost immediately after the bombing. One of them, George Bright, was tried twice. His first trial ended with a hung jury and his second with an acquittal. As a result of Bright's acquittal, the other suspects were not tried, and no one was ever convicted of the bombing.

Rhodes Center was Atlanta's first shopping center. It was built in 1937 by architects Ivey and Crook and was one of the largest real estate developments in Atlanta during the Depression.

The Temple (formally, the Hebrew Benevolent Congregation) is a Reform synagogue in Atlanta, Georgia. The oldest Jewish congregation in Atlanta, it was established in 1860 to serve the needs of German-Jewish immigrants. The Temple, designed by Philip Trammell Shutze in a Neoclassical style, was completed in 1931. Previous temples of the congregation were located at: 1875–1902: Garnett and Forsyth Streets, downtown 1902–1929: South Pryor and Richardson Streets, Washington-Rawson neighborhood southeast of downtownDuring the 1950s and 1960s, The Temple became a center for civil rights advocacy. In response, white supremacists bombed The Temple on October 12, 1958, with no injuries. While arrests were made, there were no convictions. Atlanta Journal-Constitution editor Ralph McGill's outraged front-page column on the Temple bombing won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Writing. The Temple and the bombing event was used as a central theme in the film Driving Miss Daisy (1989).

The William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum, colloquially known as The Breman, is a cultural center in Atlanta dedicated to Jewish history, culture and arts with special emphasis on Georgia and the Holocaust. The Breman, which opened in 1996, is the largest museum of its kind in the Southeast, and it is located at the corner of 18th Street and Spring Street, across the street from the Center for Puppetry Arts, in Midtown. The museum is named for Atlanta businessman William Breman, a philanthropist active in the Jewish community of Atlanta.

Washington Seminary was an independent school (Pre-First–12) in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, founded in 1878 and merged with The Westminster Schools in 1953.

The Reid House at 1325-1327 Peachtree St., NE, in Atlanta, Georgia, known also as Garrison Apartments (during 1924–26) and as 1325 Apartments (during 1926–74), was built as a luxury apartment building in 1924. It was the third luxury apartment building built in Atlanta. It received a $2 million renovation during 1974 and was converted to a luxury condominium building in 1975. The ten-story building was designed by architect Philip T. Shutze of architectural firm Hentz, Reid and Adler in Classical Revival architecture. The 1974 renovation was by architect Eugene I. Lowry.There are four stacks of apartments, and each stack has the same, unique floor plan. The building is divided in two halves so that each stack shares a formal elevator lobby with only the apartment across the elevator lobby--semi-private. This building is a rare example in Atlanta of a Manhattan style "classic six and classic eight" pre-war apartment building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The NRHP nomination lists 24 units; it has also been described as having 40 units.Reid House, or at least some part of it, has also been described as being designed by Neel Reid. It is located across Peachtree Street from the High Museum of Art.

The Children's Christmas Parade was a major Christmas parade held to benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The parade started in 1981 as the Egleston Christmas Parade. It became the Children's Christmas Parade, following the 1998 merger of Egleston Children’s Hospital and Scottish Rite Children's Hospital. The Children's Christmas Parade was held on the first Saturday in December. Nielsen estimates of TV viewing audience and crowd attendance together exceeded 500,000 in 2011. The parade featured floats, giant helium-filled balloons and marching bands. It was the largest holiday parade in the Southeast. The Children's Christmas Parade aired live from 10:30 AM EST until noon on WSB-TV 2.1 in HDTV, previously after a half-hour pre-show (until 2010) about the children at the hospital. It was re-run again on Christmas Day. Parade sponsors included Wells Fargo, Macy's, Geico, Coca-Cola, SunTrust, Fidelity Bank, Georgia's Own Credit Union, Aarons, Publix, KidsRKids, Ringling Bros, Atlanta Peach Movers, Foresters Insurance, and Southwest Airlines. In its earliest years, it was sponsored by Davison's, one of the three major regional department stores based in Atlanta until they were eliminated by Macy's. The COVID-19 pandemic prompted organizers to cancel the parade in 2020. WSB-TV instead aired a special program, looking back at 40 years of Children's Christmas Parade memories. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta announced they would be ending the parade in 2021. A new event called, "Children's Season on the Square," will replace the parade and feature a Christmas tree lighting at Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta.

The National Museum of Patriotism was a museum in Atlanta, Georgia, which was founded by retired UPS executive Nicholas Snider. At its peak, the museum occupied a 10,000-square-foot site on Spring Street in Midtown Atlanta. It was closed in 2010 and became online-only.

Woodruff Arts Center is a visual and performing arts center located in Atlanta, Georgia. The center houses three not-for-profit arts divisions on one campus. Opened in 1968, the Woodruff Arts Center is home to the Alliance Theatre, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the High Museum of Art.

Louvre Atlanta was an art collaboration showing exhibits from the Louvre in Paris at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta from October 2006 to 2009. The High Museum also held related programs including lectures and art-making workshops. Three major sponsors included Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, and United Parcel Service, all based in or immediately outside of Atlanta. The total budget for Louvre Atlanta was estimated at $18 million. This included a $6.4 million payment by the High which will go towards the restoration of the Louvre’s 18th-century French decorative arts galleries. Louvre Atlanta was conceived by the museums' directors, Michael Shapiro and Henri Loyrette, who had organized the High's 1999 Impressionism presentation: Paintings Collected by European Museums.
