Doylestown Historic District is a national historic district located in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 1,055 contributing buildings in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Doylestown. They include a variety of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings and notable examples of Late Victorian and Federal style architecture. Notable buildings include the Intelligencer Building (1876), Lenape Hall (1874), Hart Bank (1850), County Jail (1885), Henry Lear House (1875), Charles E. Meyers House (1887), John Barclay House (1814), Meredith Shaw Mansion (c. 1812), and Shive's Hardware Store (c. 1833). Located in the district and separately listed are the Fountain House, James-Lorah House, Mercer Museum (1916), Pugh Dungan House, and Shaw Historic District.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Shaw Historic District, also known as Francis B. Shaw Block Historic District, is a national historic district located in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The district includes seven contributing buildings in a residential and industrial area of Doylestown. The block was developed between 1833 and 1914, and includes the Bryan House (c. 1833), Clemens Double House (pre-1874), Goodman House (c. 1835), Kulp House (c. 1849), the Late Victorian-style Rhodes House (1891), Rhodes Livery Stable (1914), and the Doylestown Agricultural Works complex (1867, 1914). The Doylestown Agricultural Works was rebuilt after a fire in 1913; it closed in 1968.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. In 1985, it was incorporated into the Doylestown Historic District.

Doylestown station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. It is the last station along SEPTA's Lansdale/Doylestown Line. Located at the intersection of Bridge Street and Clinton Avenue, the station has a 169-space parking lot. It was originally built in 1871 by the Reading Railroad, as a much more elaborate Victorian structure than the present station. It had a decorative cupola over the ticket window and served as a Reading Railroad office at one point. The former freight house survives to this day. This station is wheelchair accessible.

It was built about 1830, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, five bay, stuccoed brick and fieldstone dwelling in the Federal style. It features a single bay, pedimented portico supported by Doric order columns. A two-story rear porch was added in the mid- to late-19th century.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Doylestown Hospital, officially Penn Medicine Doylestown Hospital, is a non-profit community-based university-affiliated teaching hospital in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Established as an eight-bed emergency hospital by the Village Improvement Association (VIA), it has expanded into a 245-bed general hospital. It joined the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) as its seventh hospital and serves as the flagship institution of Penn Medicine Doylestown Health. Recognizing the need for local medical infrastructure, the VIA established the Doylestown Emergency Hospital in 1923 with a focus on emergency and maternity care. Over the following decades, the hospital expanded in both size and services, moving to a larger facility in 1939 and again in 1975 to accommodate the growing local population. The institution was renamed Doylestown Hospital in 1957 to reflect its expansion into general and specialized care, and the VIA restructured its ownership as a health system in 1985, later named Doylestown Health. Further expansion and modernization included the addition of a free clinic in 1994, an outpatient center in 2001, a cancer institute in 2011, and a cardiac and critical care pavilion in 2021. Doylestown Hospital and Doylestown Health struggled financially through the COVID-19 pandemic, and were acquired by UPHS in 2025. Doylestown Hospital has been involved in education through programs for resident doctors, physician assistant students, and nursing students. The hospital has been recognized in regional and national rankings. Notable controversies include early exclusion of osteopaths, a vaccine mandate-related staff dismissal, and an embezzlement case.

James-Lorah House, also known as the Judge Chapman House and VIA House, is a historic home located in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1844, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, stuccoed townhouse dwelling with a medium gable roof. It has a 1+1⁄2-story rear wing with a high gable roof and end chimney. The house features eyebrow windows and marble entrance steps. It was built for Henry Chapman, who served in the U.S. House of Representatives. It was the birthplace of Henry Chapman Mercer on June 24, 1856. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The Mercer Museum is a museum located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, United States. The Bucks County Historical Society operates the Mercer Museum, as well as the Research Library, and Fonthill Castle, former home of the museum's founder, archeologist Henry Chapman Mercer. The museum was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and was later included in a National Historic Landmark District along with the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works and Fonthill. These three structures are the only poured-in-place concrete structures built by Mercer.

Doylestown is a borough and the county seat of Bucks County in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States. It is located 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Trenton, New Jersey, 30 miles (30 km) south of Allentown, Pennsylvania, 25 miles (40 km) north of center city Philadelphia and 65 miles (105 km) southwest of New York City. As of the 2010 census, the borough population was 8,380.

The Michener Art Museum is a private, non-profit museum that is located in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1988, it was named for the Pulitzer Prize–winning writer James A. Michener, a Doylestown resident. Situated within the old stone walls of an historic nineteenth-century prison, it houses a collection of Bucks County visual arts, along with holdings of nineteenth- and twentieth-century American art, and is noted for its Pennsylvania Impressionism collection and an art colony centered in nearby New Hope during the early 20th century, as well as its changing exhibitions, ranging from international touring shows to regionally focused exhibitions.

Doylestown Township is a township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 17,565 at the 2010 census. Adjacent to the county seat, many county offices and the county correctional facility are located in this township. Doylestown Central Park is a park in the township.

Fordhook Farm, also known as Burpee Farm, is a historic farm and national historic district located at Doylestown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It encompasses 12 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures. They include the houses, barn, spring house, ice house, carriage house, "farm house," "cottage" and seed house, and two greenhouses. The main house is constructed of fieldstone, and the oldest section pre-dates 1798. Washington Atlee Burpee (1858-1915) purchased the farm in 1888. The farm was used for experimentation and seed production by Burpee Seeds until 1981.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
