La Teja

Cementerio Paso Molino, known also as Cementerio de La Teja, is a cemetery in Montevideo, Uruguay. It is located in the barrio of La Teja.

Miguelete Creek (Spanish: Arroyo Miguelete) is a Uruguayan stream, crossing Montevideo Department. It flows into the Bay of Montevideo and then into the Río de la Plata. It has a very significant history behind, since colonial times.Near its shores are located the big urban park known as Prado and the historical Juan Manuel Blanes Museum.

The Sanctuary Chapel of Mother Francesca Rubatto (Spanish: Capilla Santuario de la Beata Francisca Rubatto) is a Roman Catholic chapel in Montevideo, Uruguay.Held by the Capuchin Sisters of Mother Rubatto, it is the shrine where the remains of the Blessed Francesca Rubatto are venerated. It is located in the neighbourhood of Belvedere, where Mother Rubatto performed most of her work.

Estadio Belvedere is a multi-use stadium in Montevideo, Uruguay. It is currently used primarily for football matches. The stadium holds 10,000 people and was built in 1909. On August 15, 1910, in a game at Estadio Belvedere, the Uruguay national football team wore their signature light blue jerseys for the first time. The game ended in a 3–1 victory over Argentina. It was also the first game that Argentina wore their signature blue and white striped jerseys. The Estadio, formerly owned by the Montevideo Wanderers, now belongs to Liverpool FC of Montevideo.

The La Teja Refinery is the only oil refinery in Uruguay, and is located in the La Teja neighborhood in Montevideo. Owned by the national industry ANCAP, the refinery primarily produces light-grade oil products used for domestic industries. The refinery is connected to an oil terminal in the Port of Montevideo.The refinery was first operated in 1937, and currently has a total capacity of approximately 50,000 barrels a day. As of 2006, most of the approximately 5,680 m3/d (35,700 bbl/d) imported for the refinery were from Venezuela.

Parque Abraham Paladino is a multi-use stadium in Montevideo, Uruguay. It is currently used primarily for football matches and is the home ground of CA Progreso. The stadium holds 8,000 spectators and was built in 1983.
