Roslyn ( ROZ-lin) is a village in the Town of North Hempstead in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. It is the Greater Roslyn area's anchor community. The population was 2,988 at the 2020 census.

The Ellen E. Ward Memorial Clock Tower (also known as the Roslyn Clock Tower) is a historic clock tower in Roslyn, New York. It is considered to be the symbol of Roslyn and appears on that village's official seal.

The Roslyn Grist Mill is located along Old Northern Boulevard in Roslyn, New York, United States. It was built sometime before the mid-18th century and is one of the few surviving Dutch colonial commercial frame buildings in the U.S. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, it is currently being restored for use as a museum.

Roslyn Savings Bank Building is a historic commercial building located at Roslyn in Nassau County, New York. It was originally built on the site of the former Roslyn Hotel in 1932, with additions dated to 1963 and 1980. The original structure consists of a one-story banking hall with a gable roof, with a two-story flat roofed office block in a Georgian Revival style. The original front facade is five bays wide with a center entrance and features an elaborate, pedimented stone surround. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Roslyn Village Historic District encompasses the center of that village in the U.S. state of New York. It includes within its boundaries the earlier Main Street Historic District, although that is considered a separate district by the National Park Service, which added the Roslyn Village district to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. Distinct from the Main Street district, the newer one includes more commercial property along Old Northern Boulevard, which makes a loop through downtown Roslyn off North Hempstead Turnpike (NY 25A), the main through road along Long Island's North Shore. Its contributing buildings, including several listed separately on the Register, are generally distributed over a wider range of architectural styles from the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The Main Street Historic District is one of two such districts in the village of Roslyn, New York. It is, as its name suggests, located along Main Street between North Hempstead Turnpike (NY 25A) and East Broadway, incorporating Tower Street and portions of Glen Avenue and Paper Mill Road. It is mostly residential, with some commercial development at its northern end. The 50 buildings within it are mostly houses, many built during the 19th century before the Civil War, in the Federal and Greek Revival styles. Main Street has changed very little despite the heavy growth of surrounding areas of Nassau County. The district was created in the early 1970s and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The William Cullen Bryant Viaduct, historically known as the Roslyn Viaduct, is a viaduct that carries four lanes of Northern Boulevard (NY 25A) over Hempstead Harbor between the Incorporated Villages of Flower Hill and Roslyn, in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York, United States. It serves as a bypass of Roslyn's downtown. The original bridge opened in 1949 and was replaced in phases between 2005 and 2012.

Roslyn National Bank and Trust Company Building is a historic commercial building located at Roslyn in Nassau County, New York. It was designed by architect William Tubby (1858 - 1944) and built in 1931. Located on the corner of Old Northern Boulevard and Remsen Avenue, it is a one-story, rectangular brick building with a flat roof in a modified Classical Revival style. The front facade is three bays wide and features a Tuscan order wood portico with paired columns.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It was the home of the Tyrone Men's Clothing, Sportswear and Accessories store.

Willet Titus House is a historic residential building located at Roslyn in Nassau County, New York. It was built about 1860 and is a 2-story Italianate-style frame house with an above-grade basement story at the west end. It consists of a 2-story, rectangular main block with a three-bay side entrance facade and a recessed 1+1⁄2-story two-bay wing. It features porches at the front of the main block and wing.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Rescue Hook & Ladder Company No. 1 Firehouse is a historic fire station located in Roslyn, Nassau County, New York. Although the department was established on November 1, 1852, the Colonial Revival style firehouse itself was built in 1937. It was subsequently sold and renovated as a Temple, and now houses a retail business. The new Roslyn Hook & Ladder Company No. 1 firehouse, dedicated in 1986, is a Brobdingnagian structure containing five fire trucks and larger equipment, towering over the Roslyn Plaza, which had fallen victim to the Town of North Hempstead's asphalt- and concrete- philosophy, demolishing 19th century structures for the Long Island Railroad's expansive parking lot. The volunteer firefighter brigade has claimed several championships over the years in competitions with other firehouses.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 6, 1991.

Eastman Cottage is a historic home located at Roslyn in Nassau County, New York. It was built about 1870 and is a 1+1⁄2-story picturesque cottage in the tradition of Andrew Jackson Downing and Calvert Vaux. It is rectangular in plan, with a small gabled kitchen wing and an attached privy or woodshed. It features board and batten siding and a hip-roofed front porch supported by four columns with scroll-sawn brackets. It is the only survivor of three similar cottages at this location.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

My Father's Place was a music venue in Roslyn, New York. It first opened in 1971, and according to The New York Times, "created a scene that would influence music for decades to come."In the nearly sixteen years the club was open before it closed in 1987, My Father's Place presented more than 6,000 shows from over 3,000 diverse artists. Its promoter Michael "Eppy" Epstein refused to book cover bands, and so the club became known as a place aspiring artists could perform. Young unknown musicians such as Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Aerosmith, The Police, Tom Petty, as well as hopeful comics Billy Crystal, Eddie Murphy, and Andy Kaufman, and a host of others graced the stage. In the summer of 2018 Epstein opened a new version of the club in a location not far from the original venue, in the newly renovated Roslyn Hotel (formerly the Roslyn Claremont Hotel).
