Tuzla station (Turkish: Tuzla istasyonu) is a station, under construction, on the Marmaray commuter rail line in Tuzla, Istanbul. It was previously a station on the Haydarpaşa suburban and the Haydarpaşa-Adapazarı Regional until 2013, when all train service east of Pendik was suspended. The new station consists of one island platform serving two local tracks with a third express track on the south side as well as a siding.

Tuzla is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. It has a population of 288,878 (2022) and a land area of 138 km2 . It is on the Asian side of the city next to the municipality of Pendik. Tuzla is on a headland on the coast of Marmara Sea, at the eastern limit of the city. The mayor is Şadi Yazıcı (AKP).

İçmeler railway station (Turkish: İçmeler istasyonu) is a railway station in Tuzla, Istanbul. The station was originally opened in 1954 by the Turkish State Railways, as İçme railway station and was a stop on the Haydarpaşa suburban commuter rail line. The original station consisted of two side platforms with two tracks. İçme station was also serviced by the popular Adapazarı Express regional rail service from Istanbul to Adapazarı.The station was closed down on 1 February 2012, when all train traffic between Pendik and Arifiye was temporarily suspended due to construction of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed railway. The station was demolished shortly after and a new station was built in its place. The new station consists of an island platform serving two tracks, with a third express track on the south side. İçmeler station is opened in 12 March 2019 along with the entire Marmaray line.

Çayırova railway station (Turkish: Çayırova istasyonu) is a railway station in Çayırova, Turkey. It is one of two stations (the other being Fatih) located within the campus of the Gebze Technical University. The station was originally built in 1954 by the Turkish State Railways and between 1969 and 2013, it was a stop along the Haydarpaşa suburban. In 2013, the station was closed and subsequently demolished to make way for a new station and the widening of the railway. The Çayırova station was structurally completed in 2014, along with the other eight stations located between Pendik and Gebze; but due to delays with the project, the station is not served by any train. Commuter rail service resumed on 13 March 2019.The station has two tracks with an island platform and one express track on the south side for high-speed and intercity trains.

It is located in Çayırova on the highway D.100 at the Bayramoğlu exit, close to Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. The hospital is affiliated with the Johns Hopkins Hospital in the United States through Johns Hopkins Medicine International.IMRT and Cyberknife are two of the latest technologies used in cancer treatment developed at the Anadolu Medical Center. The hospital also provides multidisciplinary care, free check ups, patient education, first aid courses, and courses related to preventive medicine. Its cancer centre is an OECI-designated clinical cancer centre. Anadolu Medical Center has outpatient clinics in Istanbul at Ataşehir .

Gebze Technical University (Turkish: Gebze Teknik Üniversitesi (GTÜ)), formerly known as Gebze Institute of Technology (GIT), is one of two institutes of technology founded in Turkey; The other one is İzmir Institute of Technology. It is a university for undergraduate and graduate studies and research activities located in a specifically selected area in Gebze, one of the most industrialized regions of the Marmara Region. Gebze Technical University is one of the universities that hold the title "research university" in Turkey, which "research university" title is given based on university's academic output by Council of Higher Education.

Sedef Shipyard (Turkish: Sedef Tersanesi) is a Turkish shipyard established in Gebze, Kocaeli in 1972. Shipyard moved to Tuzla, Istanbul in 1990. The shipyard is building defense industry ships and commercial ships such as the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu to be used by the Turkish Naval Forces. In 2000, the shipyard became a subsidiary of Turkon Holding.The shipyard was qualified in 2009 by obtaining the necessary documents to take part in military projects. In 2013, the company won the tender for a multi-purpose amphibious assault ship project, which will be the largest ship in the Turkish Navy and can carry one battalion. Within the scope of this project, the construction of TCG Anadolu started in 2015 and the ship was launched in 2019.The construction of a sister ship, to be named TCG Trakya, is currently planned by the Turkish Navy.

Camp Armen or also known as Tuzla Armenian Orphanage (Armenian: Արմէն ճամբար, Turkish: Kamp Armen, Tuzla Ermeni Yetimhanesi) is an Armenian orphanage in Tuzla, owned by the Gedikpaşa Surp Hovhannes Church.
