Mohawk River

Jacob H. Patten House is a historic home located in the former village of Lansingburgh at Troy, Rensselaer County, New York. It was built in 1881–1882, and is a two-story, two-bay-wide by three-bay-deep, Italianate style brick dwelling. It sits on a brick and stone foundation and a pitched roof hidden by a low parapet. The front facade features a one-story, shallow, hipped roof porch with square, chamfered columns and brackets. Also on the property is a contributing two-story carriage house (c. 1881–1882).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Van Schaick House is a historic home located on Van Schaick Island at Cohoes in Albany County, New York. It was built about 1735 and is a 1+1⁄2-story, brick dwelling with a gambrel roof. Plans were made at the mansion for the Battle of Saratoga and the house was used by Governor Clinton as the New York State Capitol from August 22 to 25, 1777.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

Lansingburgh Village Burial Ground is a historic cemetery located in the Lansingburgh section of Troy in Rensselaer County, New York. It was founded in 1771 and contains approximately 350 graves dating to 1912. It contains a number of notable sandstone, marble, and granite markers that offer a complete catalog of gravestone art from the late 18th through the 19th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Federal Dam is a manmade dam built across the Hudson River in the U.S. state of New York from Troy on the east bank to Green Island on the west bank. The major function of the dam is to improve navigability. It is located at mile 153 of the Hudson River, measuring from the beginning of the Hudson as a Federally Navigable Waterway near the Battery in Manhattan. The location of the dam marks the upper end of the Hudson River estuary.

Haskell School is a historic school building located at Troy in Rensselaer County, New York. It was built in 1894 and is a "T"-shaped, three story, red brick building on an elevated limestone basement in the Renaissance Revival style. It has a flat roof with a massive metal cornice. It features a majestic front entrance with a gated arch rising two stories over a tiled vestibule. The arch includes the inscription "Haskell School" in a terra cotta frieze. It was used as a school until 1975, then converted to apartments after 1977.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.The former Haskell School, a three-story brick building that has been empty for much of the last 45 years, has a new owner. In May 2020, the building was purchased by an investor, ST8 Realty and Development, led by Dillon Nash, intent on converting the building into 20 residential apartments. “This building was once a community cornerstone, and we’re focused on making sure its best days are still ahead. This neighborhood has so much history and we’re here to support its revitalization. Haskell is finally in the right hands.”

The Rensselaer and Saratoga Railroad: Green Island Shops were two historic buildings and one historic structure located at Green Island, Albany County, New York. The buildings were built in 1871 by the Rensselaer and Saratoga Railroad. They are: the three-story, five-bay, brick car shop building measuring approximately 100 by 300 feet (30 by 91 m); the one-story, semicircular, brick roundhouse; and the 40-foot-tall (12 m) octagonal water tower. The shops remained in operation into the late 1930s.: 6–8 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.On March 11, 2011 the structure caught fire. The fire started on the third floor and quickly spread to the first. The building was demolished a few weeks later.

The 112th Street Bridge is a bridge that carries New York State Route 470 across the Hudson River in New York. It connects Van Schaick Island in the city of Cohoes with the Lansingburgh neighborhood of Troy. The original bridge was built in 1922 and demolished in 1995. The newer version was completed in 1996.

Lansingburgh High School is a senior high school in Troy, New York, and part of the Lansingburgh Central School District.It has 790 students in grades 9–12. Students identify mostly as Hispanic; White, non-Hispanic; and Black, non-Hispanic. 1% of the students have limited English proficiency and 45% pay reduced lunch prices. The Herman Melville House is a historic home located at Lansingburgh in Troy, Rensselaer County, New York. It was a home of author Herman Melville between 1838 and 1847.

Glenwood, also known as Eddy Titus Mansion, is a historic home located on Eddy's Lane in Troy in Rensselaer County, New York. The house consists of a 2+1⁄2-story, rectangular, red brick central block with a 2-story, "T" shaped wing. The wing forms a courtyard and there is a 1-story porch around three sides of it. The front facade is dominated by a full Ionic order portico with pediment in the Greek Revival style. It houses the offices of the Troy Housing Authority.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Heatly School is a public Pre K-12 school located in Green Island, Albany County, New York, U.S.A., and is the only high school operated by the Green Island Union Free School District. The school is named after James Heatly, who was the Superintendent of Schools from 1880 to 1924. Heatly School was renovated in the 1950s and an addition, including a new gymnasium, laboratories, additional classrooms and other renovations were built beginning in 2006.

St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, later called Christ & St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, and now known as New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, is an historic Episcopal church and rectory at 2900 Fifth Avenue in Troy, Rensselaer County, New York. The church was built in 1895 and is a red brick church in the Late Gothic Revival style. It has a gable roof and three hipped dormers. It has an open bell tower and slender conical turrets. It features a rose window depicting the Madonna and Child. The former rectory is a 2+1⁄2-story, L-shaped brick residence. Also on the property is a contributing carved stone crucifixion dated to about 1900.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
