River Ithon

Llysdinam is a hamlet located in Powys, Wales, to the west and near to the town of Llandrindod Wells.

Newbridge on Wye railway station stood on the single-tracked Mid Wales Railway between Builth Wells and Rhayader. It was closed on 31 December 1962 and the trackbed removed. The site has been cleared and now contains senior citizens' housing. An overbridge which formed the entry point to the station from the south is still in place.

Newbridge-on-Wye (Welsh: Y Bontnewydd-ar-Wy ) is a small village in Powys, Wales. It lies, as its name suggests, on the River Wye, just downstream from the market town of Rhayader, and in the community of Llanyre.

Cors y Llyn National Nature Reserve can be found about 2.5 kilometres south of Newbridge on Wye, off the A470 road in mid-Wales. The bogs and open water at the centre of the reserve are enclosed by a band of trees, which are surrounded by an area of pasture. The meadow at the site's entrance is one of the richest in wild flowers in Mid Wales.

St Cewydd's Church is an active parish church in the village of Disserth, Powys, Wales. The dispersed village of Disserth lies south of Llandrindod Wells and north of Builth Wells. The church stands in an isolated position on a bank of the River Ithon. Unrestored in the Victorian era, the church has an unusually complete 18th century interior. Medieval in origin, St Cewydd's is designated by Cadw as a Grade I listed building.

Disserth and Trecoed (Welsh: Diserth a Threcoed) is an electoral ward and community in central Powys, Wales (the historic county of Radnorshire). It has a population of 1,239 according to the 2011 UK census. It is a rural area and includes the settlements of Howey and Crossway and the Caerwnon Park retirement park. It is located to the south of Llandrindod Wells and a few miles to the north of Builth Wells. The dispersed village of Disserth has a Grade I listed church, St Cewydd's, which dates from the medieval period. It has an unrestored interior with box pews, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Argoed is a small village in the community of Nantmel, Powys, Wales, which is 55 miles (88 km) from Cardiff and 152 miles (244 km) from London.The village has a water mill constructed around 1840, that stands on Nant Treflyn, which flows into the River Wye.

The Llandrindod Wells transmitting station is a broadcasting and telecommunications facility located on high ground about midway between Llandrindod Wells and Rhayader, in Powys, Wales. It was originally built by the BBC, entering service in 1961 transmitting the now-defunct 405-line VHF television system and the original three FM radio services.Currently, the transmitter provides DVB-T digital television to the area, along with FM radio and a single multiplex of DAB digital radio.

Builth Road railway station is a station primarily serving the town of Builth Wells, in mid Wales. It is on the Heart of Wales Line. The station is over two miles (about 3.5 km) northwest of Builth Wells via the A470, a busy trunk road. The hamlet of Builth Road has developed around the station.

The Willow Globe Theatre (Welsh: Glôb Byw, formerly known as the Living Willow Theatre) is an open air community theatre in Powys, Wales.It is a scaled-down version of the Globe Theatre in London, about a third of its size in diameter and similar to the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park in London. The theatre is formed from living willow trees that have been woven together from a design by Dr Rebecca Heaton. It seats an audience of around 150 people. The theatre was formally opened on 22 April 2007. The Willow Globe is part of the charity Shakespeare Link and has a resident company, the Willow Globe Company. Plays by William Shakespeare are performed among others. The theatre also hosts workshops and festivals. It is run by the actors Phil Bowen and Susanna Best.

Doldowlod railway station stood on the Mid Wales Railway between Builth Wells and Rhayader. It was closed on 31 December 1962 and the track removed.
