St. Peter Catholic Secondary School

St. Paul's Presbyterian Church is the name of a Presbyterian Church in Canada congregation and also the name of the congregation's now-demolished church building at 120 Murray Street in the downtown core of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Since 2018, the congregation has worshipped at The Mount Community Centre at 1545 Monaghan Road.

Mount St. Joseph, now known as The Mount Community Centre, is a former convent of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peterborough, located at 1545 Monaghan Road in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The building, originally a farmhouse built in 1869, was the Sisters' motherhouse from 1895 until 2008. In 2009, the Mount was sold to a private developer and sat empty until 2013 when it was purchased by the Peterborough Poverty Reduction Network and converted into The Mount Community Centre, a non-religious, non-profit corporation with charitable status, and affordable housing units.The building is designated by the City of Peterborough under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act by By-Law 09-158 as being of cultural heritage value or interest.

Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) is a hospital located in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The hospital was established in January 1999, and it is a combination of the former Peterborough Civic Hospital and St. Joseph's Health Centre. All acute care services were provided at 1 Hospital Drive (the former Civic Hospital), located in the Central-West part of the city, while chronic, rehabilitation and palliative care services, along with some out-patient medical and surgical services, were provided from the 384 Rogers Street site (the former St. Joseph's Health Centre) located in the "East City" or Ashburnham neighbourhood of Peterborough. Effective June 2008 all services of the PRHC (excluding some Outpatient Mental Health services and the Women's Health Care Centre) moved into a new 715,000 sq ft (66,400 m2) hospital building located directly in front of the old Civic Hospital, across from the Nicholls Building, which continued to house some Outpatient Mental Health services (including the Schizophrenia Clinic, Family & Youth Clinic and Psychiatric Services for the Elderly) until 2010.In late 2010, all patient services, including the Women's Health Care Centre, were moved into the new hospital building. Demolition of the Nicholls building began in fall 2011 and was completed in December 2011.The hospital is affiliated with the Queen's University School of Medicine, and is a training site for the Family Medicine Residency Program.

Electricity was one of the reasons Quaker Oats moved to the city, and as part of PepsiCo remains a major fixture in the downtown area. Trinity United Church was a church located in downtown Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Originally Methodist, from 1925, the church belonged to the United Church of Canada. The church was built between 1914 and 1916 in the Gothic Revival style by Edmund Burke. The church closed and the congregation disbanded on 12 June 2022.

The Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peterborough, Ontario, and one of the oldest Catholic churches in Ontario. It is located at 411 Reid Street in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. St. Peter's was designed by James Chevette in the Gothic Revival style. It was elevated to a cathedral in 1882.

PACE at Peterborough Collegiate, formerly Peterborough Collegiate Vocational School, is a public secondary school located in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada and is a member of the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. It is one of the oldest public schools in the country and was the only public high school in the city of Peterborough until the opening of Kenner Collegiate Vocational Institute in 1952. Regular student programming ended at Peterborough Collegiate Vocational School in June 2012. The building was renamed Peterborough Collegiate and in August 2012 opened as a re-purposed facility offering alternative and continuing education (ACE).Peterborough Collegiate was founded in 1827 as the Peterborough Government School on the former property of Central Public School. Since then it has been moved to different locations throughout the central part of the city with various names and types of programming. It reached its peak enrollment in 1959 with 1402 students and used additional buildings to accommodate the students of the baby boom. At the turn of the twenty-first century, the trend of declining enrollment had reduced the school student population to 800 students with approximately one third in the Integrated Arts and English Language Learners programs.
