Profsoyuznaya (Moscow Metro)

Josip Broz Tito Square (Russian: Площадь Иосипа Броз Тито) is a square in Moscow, close to the Profsoyuznaya metro station.The square was named after the Yugoslav Communist leader Josip Broz Tito in 1981, one year after his death.

Institute of Scientific Information for Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, INION RAN (Russian: Институт научной информации по общественным наукам РАН, ИНИОН) is a major center for research in social studies and humanities. The research center was created in 1969 as a successor to the Russian Academy's Fundamental Library of Social Sciences, which was established in 1918.

The Institute of World Economy and International Relations (Russian: Институт мировой экономики и международных отношений), or IMEMO, is an independent research institute based in Moscow, Russia. On August 2015 the Institute has changed its name to the Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations to commemorate the name of its former director academician Yevgeny Primakov, who led the Institute from 1985–1989. Founded in 1956 as a successor to the earlier Institute of World Economy and Politics (1925–1948), the institute is a non-profit organization acting within the Charter of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The Central Economic Mathematical Institute (Russian: Центральный экономико-математический институт (ЦЭМИ)) of the Russian Academy of Sciences is an economic research institute located in Moscow. It focuses on economic theory, mathematical economics and econometrics. The CEMI was established in 1963 as an institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, superseding the Laboratory of Economics and Mathematical Methods which had been founded by Vasily Sergeevich Nemchinov in 1958. In 1964 a branch of the institute was created in Tallinn, and in 1966 a Leningrad branch was established."When the Institute was founded in 1963, is main goal was an "introduction on the mathematical methods and computers in the practice of planning, creation of the theory of the optimal control of the national economy". In fact, the initial founding vision of the Institute was more ambitious. Of six founding research objectives mentioned by Fedorenko in his 1964, three of them directly bore on the "development of a unified system of economic information", the "design and creation of a unified state network of computer centers", and "Derivation of specialized planning and management systems based on mathematical methods and computer technology." Although its failure has since obscured this history, the Institute was initially meant to be the leading organization charged with creating a nationwide economic information network.CEMI headquarters features an alto-relievo mosaic composition of a Möbius strip on its facade, created by architect Leonid Pavlov and painter/monumentalists V. Vasiltsov and E. Zharenova in 1976.

The Shirshov Institute of Oceanology (P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology (IO) RAN, Russian: Федеральное государственное бюджетное учреждение науки Институт океанологии имени П. П. Ширшова Российской академии наук (ИО РАН) or Институт океанологии им. П. П. Ширшова РАН) is the premier research institution for ocean, climate, and earth science in Russia. It was established in 1946 and is part of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is headquartered in Moscow. The institute is named after Pyotr Shirshov, who founded it in 1946.

The Institute of Economics (Russian: Институ́т эконо́мики), is a research institution within the Russian Academy of Sciences. Since 2011, the official name of the institution has been the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Russian: Федеральное государственное бюджетное учреждение науки Институт экономики Российской академии наук).

Russian World Studios was founded in 1984 by Yuri Sapronov and Andrei Smirnov, and is one of the largest film and television production companies in the Russian market. As of 1992, the company had produced or serviced over 400 film and television projects. The studio has worked with Sony Pictures Television International, Hallmark Entertainment, HBO Films, and Beacon Pictures. RWS offers a range of film production services as well as their own distribution department, which sells in-house film and TV series on the international market. The company's film studios are located in Moscow and St. Petersburg.At the end of 2007 RWS joined JSFC "Sistema", the largest diversified holding company in Russia. This new partnership has allowed RWS to focus on three main areas of growth: studio facilities, including the expansion of the new St. Petersburg studio; production, including the expansion and efficient use of the content library; and distribution of content across current and emerging media platforms.In 2012, after being located on the premises of former automotive giant ZIL for decades, RWS decided to open another studio in St. Petersburg.

Novye Cheryomushki (Russian: Новые Черёмушки. English: New Cheryomushki) is a train station on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It was opened as the final segment of the Kaluzhskiy radius on 13 October 1962, and served as a terminus for two years.

Hinkson Christian Academy (HCA; Russian: Школа им. Хинксона) is a private Christian coeducational day school located in the South-Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow, Russia, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. All classes at HCA are conducted in English except foreign language classes. AP and honors courses are available for juniors and seniors. School facilities include 22 classrooms, a computer lab, an art room, a music room, a fully equipped science lab, ESL and learning support classrooms, a library, and a gymnasium equipped with a weight room and locker rooms. The State Darwin Museum (Russian: Государственный Дарвиновский музей) is a natural history museum in Moscow. The museum was founded in 1907 by Alexander Kohts (1880–1964) and was the world's first museum of evolution explaining the work of Charles Darwin as a causal explanation of nature.

Cheryomushki District (Russian: райо́н Черёмушки, derived from "черёмуха", meaning "bird cherry tree"), formerly Brezhnevsky District, is a district of South-Western Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia. Population: 102,619 (2010 Census); 89,264 (2002 Census).The district is delimited by Nakhimovsky Avenue (north), Obrucheva Street (south), Sevastopolsky Avenue (east), Profsoyuznaya Street, and Vlasova Street (west). The district is mostly residential, with an industrial area near Kaluzhskaya metro station. It houses the old Gazprom headquarters.

Akademicheskaya (Russian: Академи́ческая, IPA: [ɐkədʲɪˈmʲitɕɪskəjə],English: Academy's) is a station on the Moscow Metro's Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line. It is named for the several Akademichesky Proyezd streets formerly located nearby, which were themselves named after the Russian Academy of Sciences but have all been renamed since. Akademicheskaya opened on October 13, 1962, and was designed by Yuliya Kolesnikova, Petukhova, and Fokina. Built to the relatively new pillar-trispan design (aka Sorokonozhka, centipede), which became prevalent in the 1960s due to its low construction costs. The station has white marble pillars accented with a stripe of black marble near the top. The walls, originally faced with white tile with four horizontal blue stripes, were re-covered in 2003 with similarly coloured aluminium planes for a cleaner, more modern look. The entrances to the station are located around Ho Chi Minh Square, at the intersection of Profsoyuznaya and Dmitriy Ulyanov streets. Currently the station serves 67,400 passengers daily. In 2024, a transfer to Akademicheskaya on the Troitskaya line is planned.
