Bowlin Stadium

Hawks Field at Haymarket Park is a baseball stadium in the Haymarket District of Lincoln, Nebraska. It is less than a mile west of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and is the home venue of the school's baseball team and the American Association's Lincoln Saltdogs. Hawks Field is adjacent to the smaller Bowlin Stadium, which hosts Nebraska's softball team.

Pinnacle Bank Arena is a 15,500-seat indoor arena in the West Haymarket District of Lincoln, Nebraska. It was completed in 2013 and replaced the Bob Devaney Sports Center as the home of the University of Nebraska's men's and women's basketball teams. A turn back tax to support a $25 million bond was approved by Lincoln voters on May 11, 2010.On December 6, 2011, it was announced that Pinnacle Bank purchased the naming rights to the arena, at a cost of $11.25 million for 25 years. The first event at the new arena was NU's summer commencement ceremony on August 16, 2013, and the first concert was held a month later when Michael Bublé performed to a sold-out crowd on September 13. P!nk, Jason Aldean, Eagles, Elton John, Jay-Z, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Miranda Lambert also performed at PBA in the fall of 2013. Nebraska's basketball teams both played their first game in the arena on November 8, 2013. The women blew out No. 25 UCLA in the afternoon and the men defeated FGCU later that evening.Additionally, the arena is the main venue for Nebraska's state high school basketball tournaments.

Lincoln station (also known as Haymarket station to distinguish it from the previous Lincoln station) is an Amtrak intercity train station in Lincoln, Nebraska, served daily by the California Zephyr. The station opened on June 26, 2012, replacing a station originally built in 1926 by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad. The new station is 2,750 square feet (255 m2), with an 800-foot (240 m) platform, and cost $1.3 million.The previous station was abandoned because the construction of the Pinnacle Bank Arena required the re-routing of railway lines away from it. Designed by Sinclair Hille Architects, the building is composed of brick pavilions linked by a central waiting room. A large, curved skylight in the waiting room is meant to evoke the great vaulted spaces of many historic stations. One pavilion houses the restrooms while the other holds the ticket office, baggage room, and a space for train crews. Across from the ticket office is a large photo mural depicting steam and streamlined locomotives against an antique map of Nebraska. A tall, lighted pylon with “Lincoln” spelled vertically down its front serves as a beacon for approaching travelers.

Chicago Burlington & Quincy 710 is a preserved 4-6-0 "Ten Wheeler" type steam locomotive on display at the former Lincoln station in Lincoln, Nebraska. Built in 1901, No. 710 was built for high speed passenger service. After a rebuild in 1928, the locomotive provided branch line passenger and freight service until its retirement in 1954.The locomotive was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 20, 1997.

Memorial Stadium, nicknamed The Sea of Red, is an American football stadium located on the campus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. The stadium primarily serves as the home venue for the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team and a variety of other university and state activities. Memorial Stadium was built in 1923 at a cost of $450,000 and a capacity of 31,080 to replace Nebraska Field, where the Cornhuskers played home games from 1909 to 1922. The first game at the new stadium was a 24–0 Nebraska victory over Oklahoma on October 13, 1923. A series of expansions raised the stadium's capacity to 85,458, but attendance numbers have in the past exceeded 90,000. Nebraska has sold out an NCAA-record 382 consecutive games at Memorial Stadium, a streak that dates back to 1962.

Lincoln station is a disused train station in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. Service ended in 2012 after the construction of the Pinnacle Bank Arena led to a new station being built several blocks to the west. The station, also known as Burlington Northern Railroad Depot, has been converted into an antique mall.

Nebraska Field was demolished in 1923 when the university constructed Memorial Stadium on its former site.

Antelope Field was a multi-sport stadium on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was the home venue for the Nebraska Cornhuskers football, baseball, and track and field teams from 1897 until it was demolished to make room for academic facilities in 1907. Following its closure, Nebraska played the 1908 football season at M Street Park before moving to Nebraska Field in 1909. The contemporary name of the venue is unclear. It is now typically called Antelope Field but while in use it was most often referred to as simply the "athletic field," "campus field," or "Nebraska Field" (the name that would be officially applied to its successor).

The Veith Building is a historic two-story building in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1884, and designed in the Victorian style. It is "one of the oldest commercial buildings" in Lincoln.In October 1980, plans were unveiled to convert the building into a European restaurant called Les Bonnes Femmes. However, by 1982 the building still hadn't been converted. There was a Turkish restaurant in 1984. In 1989, the top floor was turned into a dance studio.The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 18, 1980.

Buck Beltzer Stadium (originally The Nebraska Diamond) was a college baseball stadium on the campus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. It primarily served as the home venue for the Nebraska Cornhuskers baseball team from 1979 until 2001, when the university constructed Hawks Field at Haymarket Park. It was named after Oren "Buck" Beltzer, a standout football and baseball player at Nebraska who was captain of both teams in 1909.

The Old University Library in Lincoln, Nebraska is a historic three-and-a-half story building on the campus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. It was built with red bricks in 1891, and designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style by Mendelssohn, Fisher & Lawrie. When it was dedicated in 1895, it housed the university library, an art gallery, and the Nebraska State Historical Society. By the 1970s, it housed the Department of Architecture. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 6, 1975.
