The Jasper Newton Bell House is a historic one-and-a-half-story house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1913 by Jasper Newton Bell, a carpenter, and designed in the Renaissance Revival style, with "a nearly symmetrical three-bay front facade, corner pilasters and dentilled entablature, and a two-bay front porch supported by Tuscan columns." According to architect David Ord Wallace in the National Register of Historic Places form, "the Jasper N. Bell house stands as a notable and dignified product, fully American in association, and a testament to both the conservatism and the competence of vernacular builders in the state of Nebraska." It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since June 21, 1984.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Engineering is the engineering college at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. The college was formally established in 1909, though the university began offering engineering classes in 1877. Since 1970, it has also encompassed the students and facilities at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Lance Perez has served as dean of the college since 2018. The College of Engineering ranked seventy-first by U.S. News & World Report in its 2024 ranking of undergraduate engineering programs. It is made up of seven departments: Biological Systems Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Materials Engineering, and the School of Computing.

The Eddy-Taylor House is a historic house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built with bricks in 1891 for Ambrose Eddy, and designed in the Queen Anne style. In 1902, it was purchased by Professor W. G. L. Taylor, who was the chair of the department of Political Economy at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln from 1893 to 1911. The house has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 21, 1983.

The Lewis-Syford House is a historic house on the campus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1878 for Reverend Elisha M. Lewis, a Presbyterian missionary who had been a chaplain in the Union Army during the American Civil War, and designed in the Second Empire style. It was bequeathed by Constance C. Syford to the Nebraska State Historical Society in 1965. It is the oldest building on the UNL campus. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since February 18, 1971.

The Rock Island Depot in Lincoln, Nebraska is a historic railroad station which served passenger trains of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad (Rock Island Line) from 1893 to 1968. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 3, 1971. The buildings is now occupied by a branch of Union Bank and Trust. Most of the former Rock Island Line trackage in Lincoln has been converted to rail trails.

The Royer-Williams House is a historic house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built by Henry Royer in 1887, and designed in the Queen Anne architectural style, with "the hood-moldings of the windows, the prominent square bay window of the south facade complete with Victorian trim and brackets, and the varied imbrication on the second floor of the tower and on the concave hip of the south bay window.". In 1898, it was purchased by T. F. A. Williams, who lived here with his wife, sociologist Hattie Plum Williams who wrote books about German Russians. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since June 14, 1982.

The Nebraska State Historical Society Building is a historic two-story building in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built by Olson Construction in 1953 to house the Nebraska State Historical Society, founded in 1878. It was designed in the Moderne style by architect Ellery Lothrop Davis. According to the National Register of Historic Places form, "The almost harsh horizontal, rectangular configuration of the Building coupled with its stark coloring and lack of ornamentation may be seen to shadow elements of the Bauhaus and International styles, which in turn had borrowed from the Prairie style." It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 21, 2003.

The State Arsenal, built in 1913 in Lincoln, Nebraska, was the first permanent facility provided by the Nebraska Legislature for support of the Nebraska National Guard, successor to the Nebraska Militia. The two-story, rectangular, concrete and brick building with a basement was used by the guard as a warehouse until 1963, when it was transferred to the state fair board. On January 1, 2010, the state fair board transferred ownership of the arsenal building and the surrounding property to the University of Nebraska. The building was the former site of the Nebraska National Guard Museum, which moved to a new location in Seward, Nebraska, in 2014.

The National Center for Research in Economic Education (NCREE) was a non-profit economics research center located at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was established in 1984 under the direction of professor William Walstead as part of the school's College of Business Administration (now the College of Business). The NCREE's researchers were typically students in the College of Business seeking an advanced degree. The center's primary function was to assist researchers and other organizations with research, assessment, and evaluation projects in economics education. The NCREE designed, developed, and revised widely used standardized test instruments for assessing the economics knowledge of students at various stages of education, including the Basic Economics Test, Test of Economic Knowledge, Test of Economic Literacy, and Test of Understanding in College Economics. These tests are published by the Nebraska chapter of the National Council for Economic Education. NCREE housed the Research in Economic Education Data Base, a comprehensive data base of research and tests developed by the center. In 2024, the National Center for Research in Economic Education was eliminated in a wave of budget cuts across the University of Nebraska system. At the time of its closure, NCREE had no full-time faculty, and student interest had been limited for years. NU regents retained the option for College of Business students to undertake projects started by NCREE as a specialization or minor.

The College of Journalism and Mass Communications is the journalism school at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. NU held its first journalism class in 1894 and formally established a school of journalism in 1923, which became a college in 1985. Shari Veil has served as the Jane T. Olson Endowed Dean since 2020.

The Bob Devaney Sports Center (commonly referred to as the Devaney Center, formerly the NU Sports Complex) is a sports complex on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. The 7,909-seat arena opened in 1976 and serves as the primary home venue for several of Nebraska's athletic programs. The complex is named for Bob Devaney, who served as Nebraska's football coach from 1962 to 1972 and athletic director from 1967 to 1992.

The University of Nebraska State Museum (the NU State Museum) is a natural history museum housed in Morrill Hall on the campus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. Founded in 1871, it features biodiversity, paleontology, and cultural diversity from across the Great Plains. It became a Smithsonian Affiliate in 2013. The State Museum comprises four floors with ten permanent exhibits. Among these are Elephant Hall, which houses the world's largest articulated fossil mammoth among its collection of fossil elephants, and Mueller Planetarium, an interactive science center. Other exhibits feature paleontology, ancient life and evolution, wildlife, gems and minerals, and American Indian and African artifacts.
