Galt Arena Gardens

The Ainslie St. Transit Terminal is a bus station and terminal in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the core of Galt,: 22  a former city which is now a community within Cambridge. The building is a single-story facility with a waiting room, ticket counter, public washrooms, and vending machines. It is surrounded on all sides by bus platforms, with the only access to and from the surrounding streets by crossing the bus right-of-way.

Trinity Anglican Church is a parish of the Anglican Church of Canada located in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. The church was built and consecrated in 1844, four years following the incorporation of the parish, by the Rt. Rev. John Strachan. The Hon. Wm. Dickson donated the land on the right bank of the Grand River and together with his superintendent/manager, Absalom Shade, bore a large portion of the cost of clearing the land and building the church. Both men were founders of Galt, Ontario. Through a bequest by Absalom Shade, Trinity House, the Italianate style rectory, was built in 1873. The park in front of Trinity Church was also a gift of the Dickson family and is open to the public. Trinity Anglican Church is the oldest stone church in Waterloo Region.

The Cambridge Main Street Bridge is a concrete bowstring arch bridge located in Cambridge, Ontario. It cost approximately $55,000 and was built by W.H. Yates Construction Company Limited, with Archibald C. Crealock listed as the principal designer. Construction lasted throughout 1931 and the official opening was held on December 22, 1931. The bridge has a total length of 57.3 meters (188 feet) and runs from the Melville Street portion of Queens Square on the west side of Galt to Water Street on the east side. There is a single support in the middle, resulting in two spans of approximately 28 meters (92 feet). There are two lanes for vehicular traffic and sidewalks on either side for pedestrians.

The School of Architecture is one of the professional schools of the University of Waterloo. It offers a professional program in architecture accredited by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board at the master's level (M.Arch.). It is part of the Faculty of Engineering and is located on a satellite campus in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. Some of Canada's most prominent architects are graduates of the school.The school moved to a former factory building in Cambridge in September 2004, to provide more space for the school as well as to spur economic activity in the downtown area. It was designed by Levitt Goodman Architects.

Galt Collegiate Institute and Vocational School (GCI) is one of sixteen secondary schools in the Waterloo Region District School Board, located in Cambridge, Waterloo, and Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1852, GCI is one of the oldest continually operating secondary schools in Ontario, and has been recognized as a historical landmark by Heritage Cambridge and by the Ontario Archaeological and Historic Sites Board. In 2002, GCI celebrated its 150th anniversary. GCI offers a complete academic and extra-curricular experience to a student body of about 1000 in a wide range of academic and vocational programs. GCI is also home to the French Immersion and ESL programs.

Glenview Park Secondary School is a high school in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, for students in South Galt. The school was opened in 1957. It is also one of the two International Baccalaureate (IB) Schools in Waterloo Region.

Monsignor Doyle Catholic Secondary School is a public, Catholic High School in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada which opened in 1976 as a junior high school, and is the second smallest Catholic secondary school of the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. In the mid-1980s, Catholic education received full funding and all the Catholic junior high schools in Waterloo Region converted to high schools teaching grades 9 - 12 and OAC. The school bears its name after Monsignor E.A. Doyle, who was a much beloved and well-respected pastor of Cambridge. Much of his tenure was at St. Patrick Parish as a Catholic leader in the community. He was a man of religious commitment and in recognition of his many educational contributions, the school was named in his honour. School teams are known as the "Doyle" Mustangs and are known for their exceptional performance in Badminton, Wrestling, Track & Field, Soccer, and Volleyball. The school has received public attention several times over the years due to an Anti-Bullying initiative run by the school's leadership program which saw the school participate in Family Channels Stand Up Wave. CTV also arrived for the banning, and subsequent unbanning of girl's shorts in early fall 2009, caused by female students rolling up and hemming the shorts. In mid-2007 the school saw a lockdown which lasted 2 hours. It is home to a generally large European and Newfoundlander population, and is one of the two Catholic High Schools in Cambridge, drawing students from most of South Galt. In 2006, the school received an addition to the back of the school, adding fourteen classrooms and a second story, which removed the 12 portables that previously littered the area. The school's student council has worked towards pushing for a uniform-free week, as well as a second semi-formal, believing it to improve school spirit. Monsignor Doyle is a member of the eight team District 8 Athletic Association

The Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) is a conservation authority in Ontario, Canada. It operates under the Conservation Authorities Act of Ontario. It is a corporate body, through which municipalities, landowners and other organizations work cooperatively to manage the Grand River watershed and natural resources within it. Created in 1932 as the Grand River Conservation Commission, the GRCA is the oldest water management agency in Canada. It is one of 36 conservation authorities in Ontario and is a member of Conservation Ontario. The GRCA also owns and manages many conservation areas, parks and trails within the watershed.

St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School is a Catholic high school in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. Opened in the fall of 1997, St. Benedict CSS has approximately 1800 students (as of 2008), from grades 9 to 12, and is part of the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. It is informally referred to as the "Home of the Saints". The school motto, "A Celebration of People" signifies the school as a welcoming, inclusive community. The school was originally founded and opened in 1962, located on Northview Heights Drive in Cambridge, Ontario, and operated from the 1962-63 school year until the 1996-97 school year when it was closed and moved to the current three-story building. The original school structure was demolished in 2000. The current school building was planned in 1995 and constructed from 1996-1997 and was opened in September 1997 for the 1997-98 school year, though the ongoing 1997 teacher's strike delayed the opening by a few days. The original 1997 part of the school is three stories, consisting of a library, wood shop and auto shop, cooking classrooms, three gymnasiums, a lecture hall, and many different subject classrooms. There are also nine portable classrooms around the campus, as well as a full-size track-and-field track out front. The atrium features a large circular design with a full-glass ceiling and stainless-steel stair railings. In 2001, plans were put in place to construct an addition to the rear right side of the school, as well as a separate manufacturing shop building. In late 2002, the construction began and was completed in the fall of 2003 for the 2003-04 school year. The expansion consisted of three stories, with a cosmetology studio, a new teachers lounge, and more classrooms, as well as the manufacturing building with a large metal shop, and three more classrooms. Along with the expansion, several parts of the original school building were upgraded as well, such as the main office and the wood shop. In 2016, the track and field area in the front was upgraded with a new remote-controlled scoreboard, public basketball court, public gazebo, and two small playgrounds. The most recent renovations came in the summer of 2018 when the entire library (referred to now as the "Learning Commons") was remodelled with a new public entrance, kids area, school access entrance, and quiet study zone. St. Benedict offers a wide variety of academic, athletic and technical programs. The school website offers a broad range of information, including school news and daily "Ranger" announcements. Parents and students can also access homework information by using "ClassNet", a service provided by the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. More teachers now though are using programs like Google Classroom and D2L for homework posting. The school has multiple extra-curricular activities, such as the RISK tournament (as an event by the Games Club), Chess team, Robotics Club, DECA, Science Team, Anime Club, Tech Crew, etc. The student council (otherwise known as SAC) is a group of students with potential leadership skills looking to evolve the school community through various events like the Fall Fair, BBQ Fun Day and seasonal assemblies. The school helps out with a variety of charities throughout the year with Thursday mission collections dedicated to a different cause each week. The students also partake in the Cambridge Firemen Christmas Basket and Food Drives during the seasons of giving. During the Haiti crisis, over $10 000 was raised and last year, the school's first Relay for Life event raised over $42 000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. St. Benedict has many student-run or student-founded clubs and organizations. Students are encouraged to get involved with the extra-curricular activities available at school, including the annual play, bi-annual musical, participation in the Sears Drama Festival (Dramafest), the multiple clubs for miscellaneous subjects and its many sports teams. Certain teachers are known for their participation in clubs and the formation of, Paul Riso and Andrew Renner in particular run or help many students set up clubs or other extra-curricular activities. St. Benedict has a close relationship with a brother school in Japan where Japanese students come to visit the school for a week in Canada approximately every two years to experience the different lifestyles and cultures. An annual Colombian exchange program has formed in recent years along much of the same principles.

Cambridge is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1979.

Cambridge is a provincial electoral district in southwestern, Ontario, Canada. It elects one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. It was created in 1975. From 1987 to 1999, it consisted of the city of Cambridge plus that part the township of North Dumfries located directly to the east of Cambridge. From 1999 to 2007 it consisted of Cambridge, North Dumfries plus the city of Kitchener east of a line following Homer Watson Boulevard to Doon Village Road to Homer Watson Boulevard again, then to Huron Road to the Grand River. In 2007, the riding included just Cambridge and North Dumfries.

Cambridge Centre is a shopping mall in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. In the 1980s, Hespeler Road became the city's major commercial area, and is now known as the Highway 24/Hespeler Road Commercial District. The main anchor store is a Hudson's Bay. Construction recently transformed the previous anchor store Target into part of the mall adding SportChek on the front side and Kingpin on the backside.
